[After waking up with no idea where she was on a mysterious boat, and moving up from said boat to discover a city she did not recognize in the least, Yang had just plopped herself down on a nearby bench. When it came to weirdness and oddity, the teen generally needed a few minutes to really process through all of it, so that's what she was doing. It wasn't helping very much, but at least the urge to scream was starting to fade?]

[Instead she turned on the walkie-talkie thing, flipping slowly through the options until she found what she hoped was some sort of video feature. On a social network? Something like that. It would have to do for now, anyway.]

Uh. Hey. I'm Yang. [She gives the screen a little wave.] Not really sure what's going on? I found these pamphlet things but, didn't really read 'em yet.

[She pauses, and her expression turns a bit frustrated as she points over her shoulder, back towards where she had emerged after waking up.]

Look, anybody else just wake up a boat? 'cause that's a thing that happened, and it's still freaking me out a little bit.

[She sucks in a breath and then runs her hand through her hair, tugging on it in frustration.] Right, anyway. I guess I'll just...read these? 'cause that'll help... Thanks.

[She waves again and then clicks the screen off.]

[A lot of confusion more than likely. She's certainly had her own fair share of it after her 'return'.] I hope it's nothing but a smooth transition.

[Releases her hand and follows after her, looking around at the room. It dawns on her that before, Yang hadn't invited any of them to help her decorate or see her room- or...do anything really.

Seeing her stuffed animal placed on the bed though, it makes her smile.]

Looks good.

Mm. Makes it more mine, I think. [She gives the stuffed dog a little pat, then turns to survey the room. Well, it was...nice enough, she supposed. It didn't feel as lived in as she would've usually made something, but maybe Blake was right. Maybe there would be more differences then she realized.]

I was talking to Neptune earlier, and he said I work for a mechanic. I hadn't really given it much thought until now. [Yang says as she moves across the room to the closet, hesitating before opening the door.]

I mean, I could do that? But it's never really been something I wanted to do. Maybe things really are different.

[Watches her before looking around the room herself. It's been the first time she's ever been granted access to Yang's room, even back in their apartment where they didn't speak much. Just the occasional wave or nod.]

Well, I suppose now you can make your own way, pave your own path and do what you want.

Other than being a Huntress, was there anything else you've ever wanted to do?

[Yang didn't answer, looking at the things hanging in the closet, and then finally she shrugged.]

Not really? [She half-turned back to Blake, and at least she had the good graces to seem embarrassed.] That's...pretty much what I want to do. Or, I mean...what I want to do so I can do...you know. Everything. Go new places. See new things. Meet new people.

Huntresses pretty much do all the things I want to do.

[Silent for a moment before standing up.] Then do it.

There are portals here to other worlds as well...even our own though- it's not really the one we came from.

If your ambition is to travel, meet people and just live, then do it here with no regret as long as it makes you happy.

[Yang turned from the closet, smiling.]

I don't think it's quite that easy, Blake. I mean, I need a job. I can't just go running off to explore.

[Although it was really tempting...]

Easier than you think.

Go to the ones that ask for bounties. Sun has apparently made himself a small fortune just hunting and exploring some areas, removing threat.

At least you can keep strong, fight for our safety and collect money perhaps?

Maybe. Hopefully. [She looks distant for a moment, then shrugs.] Let's say 'probably' and go for that. [A grin.] Besides, you could've done that too. Or Ruby. Even Weiss...maybe.

But I guess you jumped at a chance to work with books, huh? [And now she's back to looking through the closet.]

We do try to get some team-time together and go to the forests to keep our skills sharp as well as our teammwork.

I mainly chose the library because I wondered if there might be a clue there on where exactly we are and why all this is happening.

[Gives a small slump and sits back on the bed with a sigh.] So far, nothing yet.

Team time, huh? Practicing Ruby's attack-codes and everything?

[Yang likes those. They're fun.]

Neptune said that too. I figure he's just trying to find an excuse to read all the books.

She certainly has a knack for naming things like that. [They are indeed fun.]

Probably. He makes a good work companion and with both our sets of eyes at least we can try to find out more things quickly.

Of course she is, she's a leader. I always knew it. [Why yes, Yang sounds proud.]

No such luck so far though, huh?

[If anyone deserves to be proud of Ruby it's Yang, of course.]

None yet.

We have found odd books about other worlds, their histories and legends. Some of those are interesting at least. Might help more if Neptune wasn't constantly getting flirted with.

[Yang snickers.] Poor Neptune, his life sounds so hard here.

[She turns around, holding a few shirts in her hands, and then shakes her head.]

I don't like any of these. That's weird, right?

So very. It must be such a burden to be attractive huh?

[Tips her head from side to side curiously.]

It might be a little bit but- that gives Weiss and excuse to take you shopping.

Hey, you're stuck with that burden too, you know. [So was she, but it was more fun to tease Blake about it. And then back to the shirts, and after a moment she hangs one of them back up.]

This one isn't so bad, anyway. [A little grin.] At least I know this stuff'll fit, huh?
