12 Campaign [Video] Locked to City Guardians/Deputy Guardians

Sorry to cut your celebration short, Vyers, and it while I am aware there are several issues within Genessia that seek a response, there is one that I feel we all can agree is top priority in resolving.

The main reason I speak is because of the anonymous text that was sent the other day suggesting that Everyman is hiding away in one of the sub-cities. Unfortunately I have not been able to trace the direct location yet, and it is entirely possible it may be some sort of prank or trap, but at this point I will take any possible lead toward apprehending this pest.

However since it could have been from anyone, we are rather limited in how wide we can recruit for this hunt without being immediately noticed. I request any of you that have the time to assist me in validating this tips' truthfulness, then formulating a plan of action.

Also, I have noticed somewhat unusual activity around Genessia City involving robed individuals; they appear to be interested in spreading the word of some sort of 'New God'. I have yet to hear of any anti-Guardian propaganda though, so they are likely unrelated to the larger issue.

As if we're not busy enough as it is. The propaganda is a quite a handful as well. [Happily, Zuko was useful when it came to trying to tone it down, as much as his ability would allow it.] And there's still the issue of reckless bounties, missing virgins and foreign dragons.

The Everyman case has affected all of us. As Guardian of Genessia City, I offer my experience and resources to ensure his capture.

I would further like to propose that once the current case is resolved, the five Guardians hold a gathering to establish the future of justice throughout Genessia. We cannot afford jurisdictional bickering should a more serious threat to multiple cities arise in the future.

[Hi there, Satsuki. Spirit hasn't spoken with her in quite some time; lately he's been lying low. Work for Guardian Tepet, poking around the city looking for any trace of Everyman's location, and letting the various injuries from his encounter with Charlotte heal.

He's still got one arm bandaged in a sling, but it's more because he might have considered going without it for a few days and set himself back stubborn idiot.]

Miss Satsuki. I haven't seen much to suggest Everyman is in Genessia proper. He's got a hook with the newspaper, that much is clear, but nobody will give me much more information than that.

I haven't been able to head to the sub-cities or the archways, so my searching has been confined to the city proper.

Everyone:

There are about five sub-archways in Nova City that Everyman could be hiding in: one that leads to Metropolis, one to G Corporation. I have found nothing in Wily Fortress nor discovered any recent activity with the New York and Nanae Island archwa-.

[Suddenly a gothic-lolita style pokemon can be seen flying by in the backround, followed by a young green-haired girl apparently chasing her- clearly in a much brighter mood than the poke creature. 'Wait, Little Circles, I can't pet you if you're running so quickly!'.

Satsuki raises a hand to her forehead for a moment, then attempts to continue as if that hadn't happened.]

Archway. The issue is that the owners of either archway could be completely unaware that Everyman is hiding out, so questioning either of them could, in turn, alert Everyman and give him another chance to relocate if we do not react immedietly.

I propose we split into two teams of five to seven- Both will need one person who is proficient in tactical searching and one as an archway lookout. Ideally they would be made of people you can trust. The teams should approach Lex Luthor and Kazuya Mashima then request permission to evacuate all living persons from their facilities before searching.

I feel I should add that if this tip is bogus, we risk facing a considerable amount of embarrassment and worsening of our reputations. If any of you wish to change your minds or propose a less risky plan, I am all ears.

(OOC: I presume we can handwave the Metropolis sweep which is also a good opportunity for those that are OOCly busy to opt into that team. :D)

Impressive work narrowing it down that far, at least that rules out all but two of the Archways.

Still, it there not the chance that when the personnel are evacuated, Everyman could simply slip out with them? It would be an embarrassment if he escaped from beneath our noses like that, and as you said, that would not be of benefit to any of us.

Yes that is a possibility. I would assume that all of Mishima Industries employees possess nametags and so can be accounted for. If he tried to slip out with them that would only make things easier as I have a means of discovering if one is lying about their identity.

[Almost, as if on cue, Koishi's head rises from behind Satsuki's shoulder. As if looking for something, then rushes to the right, off-screen before the Guardian can shoo her away. Why did she think doing this in an open room was even a good idea?]

Though I should also not that Mishima and I are not exactly on the best of terms; even if he weren't directly involved with Everyman, I would not put it past him to make things even more difficult just for his own amusement.

I volunteer to lead one of the teams. [The Roseblack's talents--not to mention many of her Charms--are, after all, best used in a position of command.]

I would suggest placing me in command of whichever group is at greater risk of violent confrontation.

I'm not in a position right now to take on any actual tactical work. I'm willing to be eyes and ears, but any physical confrontation I think I'd best be sitting out. I'm not bringing Maka into this, and there's no way I'd ask Stein or Kid. Without a meister, I'm limited.

[ooc: because Spirit is about to get ridiculously involved in the Kefka plot, I think I'd like to stick him in the handwaving group! If he even gets physically involved. He might be a good tactician/sidelines person, which is also handwave-able.]
