[When the video opens, a rather starkly bare apartment can be seen, with a multitude of clocks adorning the walls being the only real form of decorations.]

Lady Satsuki, if you have the time, I have a few things I would like to speak to you about. First of which, is the recent arrival of a colleague of mine. Her name is Glynda Goodwitch, and she is a professor at my school in our world, and a renowned Huntress in her own right. I mentioned I was teaching a combat training course at Honnouji Academy and she expressed an interest in having a similar position, if it would be possible.

The second issue is that of my salary. I realize that when I started teaching, I opted to be paid minimally. This was, in part, because I did not require any kind of high-maintenance living area, but circumstances have changed, and I am looking to move to a larger place. Of course, this would mean my expenses will be on the rise, and I was hoping that I could possibly have a raise.

[When he starts his second post, he's out walking around a neighborhood in Genessia City. One that team RWBY may recognize as being fairly close to their house.]

I believe it is time that I move out of my cramped apartment and into a proper house, especially with the arrival of Professor Goodwitch. Having a house would also allow for temporary shelter should more students arrive in the future, so I have taken to scouting potential houses. Anyone have any suggestions?

[Yang has her sunglasses on, in her room, as she straightens up and goes through what to keep from old her and what to throw away. That house looks familiar. Why does that house look familiar? Did she...she walked past that house the other day...]

[She leans up to tug her sunglasses down, peering over the frames at the screen.]

[He chuckles and glances to the side at the house.]

At the moment, yes, I am.

[Yang smirks.]

There's no way that's a coincidence, professor.

Would that be a problem?

[Yang seems to be thinking it over.]

I don't know. Maybe?

Would it help if I assured you that this is in no way an attempt to place you or your team under supervision? I simply feel like it would be beneficial to be close at hand, in case something happened that we needed to respond to.

It would help a little.

I think if you want to keep an eye on us, nothing is going to stop you, no matter where you live.

That might be an accurate assessment.

But seeing as we're not attempting to keep you under surveillance, that shouldn't be an issue.

[She's not entirely happy to see him, to no one's surprise, but no reason for her to start antagonizing either.]

I don't see why not- ideally that would mean more managable classroom sizes in a likely popular academic. I cannot say at this time when I will be available to meet her, but I would be interested in meeting her.

[As for the subject of raises, she raises a hand to her chin, brows furrowed in thought. Payroll is not something she's an expert in- But somehow the request doesn't seem something she should let pass with an 'ok' and leaving it at that.]

Congratulations. I'm afraid I cannot provide a definitive answer to your question at this moment. However I could have one for you by tomorrow afternoon if your situation allows.

That is more than acceptable. I'm sure Glynda is not in any rush in that regard, and I have yet to find a suitable house. I'm simply giving you advance warning.

If you're looking for affordable housing that doesn't require 4 peoples' salaries to afford, I hear Attleton is a great option, Professor. We looked into a few places over there when we were house searching.

[ Aka no she does not want you living near them tyvm. Weiss respects her professors but she definitely enjoys not being supervised. ]

I've been finding that this neighborhood is quite reasonable. I've been looking at several houses on this street to be precise.

I don't think you'd like it much. Honestly, the smell from the candy factory makes it impossible to enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning since it messes with the taste.

It's definitely a lot closer to Honnouji Academy than my previous apartment, and the smell is hardly that intrusive.

Areas that aren't 19 blocks from it are even closer, Professor.

[ She'll just say she's fairly certain that's what this is about. Did Professor Goodwitch talk him into actually making sure to watch them since they were troublemakers or what? She's not sure, but she doesn't like it that he's trying to move right near them as soon as Glynda got here. ]

Rest assured, Weiss. You and your team will maintain their privacy. I will admit that your location is part of why I'm considering this location, but it is not because I think you need supervision.

If anything, it's more of a safety measure. I would prefer to be near my students should an emergency arise.

If it's a safety measure, don't you think staying near the teams not from our school would be of utmost importance, considering you've been tasked with their safety and entrusted by others? You can contact us at any time regardless of location, but there's no one to look out for Haven Academy's students if you and Professor Goodwitch aren't.

[ Don't think she's not going to try to make a valid argument against this, Professor. ]

Particularly given that all of the students present from other academies have fewer than four members of their team present.

Miss Schnee, I believe where or where we don't decide to live is our choice and our choice alone.

Perhaps the entire neighborhood should be relocated for our uses if you insist on us being close to every student.

It's quite alright, Glynda, these are very valid concerns.

My primary responsibility is to the students of Beacon. As for the exchange students, Mercury, Emerald, and Cinder are not too far from here, and I was hoping to acquire a house large enough to accommodate Sun and Neptune, should they wish to take the offer, as well as temporarily host any other students that may appear.

Considering that you're making that choice in our close proximity, I would say that completely ignoring potential neighbors wouldn't be very neighborly. I've been here nearly a year without incident with and without the rest of my team and without close proximity to Professor Ozpin. If this were in fact a move with our safety in mind, it would've been better made two months ago when Roman Torchwick arrived.

Though, if you're really willing to pay for a house big enough, I hope you both have nice jobs. It took all four of us with above minimum wage positions to afford this house for the four of us. If you're planning on affording something and convincing Sun and Neptune to move in with you, I hope you've both got at least top-level positions.

[ She doubts they can afford to buy multiple houses, she's not afraid of that threat. ]

You think this was my idea? From what I gather, the headmaster was planning a move for quite some time.

[She'd rather stay in the apartment, if she's honest, but the move could be beneficial.]

I agree with him, of course, but if you think that it was me who put that idea into his head then you're mistaken.

I never remotely said I thought it was your idea, I was simply refuting the argument you jumped in with. Though he can't have been planning a move into our neighborhood for that long considering we just moved in December.

How was I supposed to know that?

I would assume Professor Ozpin told you if he's discussing moving with you.

I trust him. That's all you need to know about that.

[And she knows you're blaming her. She can sense it.]

[Ozpin sighs as he makes his way to a bus bench and switches the feed over to a private one for Glynda and Weiss.]

I'll be honest with you, Weiss. This has more to do with my own insecurities than anything. I've been a Huntsman most of my life, and Headmaster besides. That comes with a wealth of knowledge and resources that this place has stripped from me. Take that incident at the docks Blake was involved with. My network of contacts alerted me to the situation before the police knew. The incident with Ruby and Torchwick again came to me before the police.

I'm old and set in my ways. And without these contacts and my network, I feel as if an eye had been gouged out. You and your team are more than capable of carving your own way in this new world, adapting to the culture and the needs it presents. Such is the benefit of youth.

I understand your concerns, and they are indeed valid. The last thing I wish to do is intrude upon the new lives you girls have made for yourselves, and you have my word, this is not simply to monitor, watch, or otherwise change what you are doing. I have been exceptionally proud of how you and your team have succeeded in this new place.

This is purely for my own peace of mind.

[ Weiss seems to calm down a little after hearing what Professor Ozpin has to say, even though she still looks a little grumpy... mostly because she got worked up over Glynda popping in to come double-team her when she thinks she had plenty of good reason to be wary about this. The fact that he's moving near them for his own benefit, putting some kind of trust in them rather than it seeming like a move that shows they lack trust is something Weiss is more amenable to. They had done so much since getting here and even if Yang had just re-arrived and was settling in, it would have been tough to accept that their professor suddenly didn't think they were capable of handling everything. Especially when she's trying to find her feet properly for the first time, instead of just holding onto the idea that this is just a temporary situation. That it's because he trusts them, not the opposite, is comforting. ]

I'm sorry for getting upset, Professor Ozpin. If you want to move in somewhere nearby, I won't argue. Just know that you probably don't want to be too close since we aren't exactly the quietest house on the block. Also you probably shouldn't force the others to move either like Professor Goodwitch suggested.

[ She sighs. ] That said, I think I can refer you to the real estate agent who was able to get us a decent deal on the street.

[ You know, if you have Weiss's unrelenting argumentative skills that go on until the other person breaks unless she's actually wrong. ]

[Glynda herself is slightly calmer, if a bit grumpy. She would have ignored the issue entirely if it wasn't for the fact she thought that she was getting blamed for this ordeal. It was a minor thing but Glynda Goodwitch was never known for having the calmest of tempers.]

It's as he says... I'll admit my temper got the better of me and for that, I apologize.

[She shouldn't get mad at students. She gives a sigh and adjusts her glasses.]

This place has thrown me off balance and, frankly, as Ozpin admitted I'm not as young as I once was. It's disorienting. [A pause.] As many people already know, my temper runs quite high even in the best of times.

Thank you, Weiss. And I apologize for any inconvenience this may be. And while I have no intention of enforcing any relocation, I am very serious about offering space to those from Remnant that would prefer it.

Just.. if you happen to see someone breaking into our house, feel free to ignore them. The last thing I need is our house wrecked because one of you got into a fight with the dunces who can't figure out how to use the front door.

I think, if it's that situation, we can handle ourselves. It may also be in their best interest to learn how to use the door.

I've known her for many years. In our world, she is a professor at the Huntsman academy I run as well as a renowned Huntress in her own right.

I did not "pull" anything. This arrangement is to the benefit of both of us. And believe me, Glynda is not the type of woman to do something just because someone uses fancy words, or thinks themselves clever in flattering her.

I am not so arrogant as to ask my friends why they choose to remain in my company. Only thank them for putting up with me.

I dunno, sounds like an awful lot of dull work to me. Pretty sure my hair'd last, though. I'm just too pretty, and besides, what would all my lovely hunnies say if I didn't keep appearances up?

I think it has something to do with the respect I show my friends unconditionally, and not dwelling on superficial speech and flirting. That usually works for me at least.

[Superficial speech and flirting is something he's relied on for most of his life. No one takes the time to see past that, and that's how it's going to stay, as far as he's concerned.]

[Ozpin has a talent for seeing past those kinds of facades though, not that he lets on.]

Then I feel sorry for those of your world if this sort of behavior passes as "charming."

[With Zelos, it's become an assumption that people won't bother to look past the facade. He's not quite caught on that here there are people who can and will go through the effort of doing so.]

Pretty sure most of the women in my world can't have that bad judgement. They'd be so hurt to hear you insult them like that!

[Less said on the fact that they only bothered with him because he was the Chosen One (and he knew this) the better.]
