0 -- The beginning of another journey.
[Introspective]
If there was anything that he could compare what he was experiencing to, it was the dream he had when he first came to Inaba. Fog, fog, nothing but fog -- it felt like he was wandering through the halls of a misty Yomotsu-Hirasaka again, his eyes remaining clouded to the truth. It was a bizarre experience overall, for two reasons: one...he knows where this is already, and he knows that he cleared out the fog in this place... Why was it hidden to him again? Two -- this void that he was thrust into in the dream seemed...unending. Well, it looked that way until he found the door that led him to the obscured figure in the dream. Before he could open it up, though, he awoke -- not on the train home, but within the inside of a silky cocoon. That gets him to jolt upright.
...And hit his head on the lid by mistake. Oops.
After he rectifies his mistake and carefully climbs out, nearly fumbling with the box that laid on his chest, he carefully walks through the water-laden cavern that he woke up to. One question slips through his lips as he tries to find his way towards the entrance...
"...I wonder -- where will this journey take me...?"
[Video]
[Later, someone's face shows up on the network -- a rather confused boy with a gray head of hair shaped into a head-fitting bowl. He's gone through the welcoming pamphlet already, and has most of what needs to be covered for a new kid dealt with. Thanks a bundle, Weiss.]
...Am I using this correctly?
[Fumbling through the walkie-talkie due to how unwieldy it was compared to his cellphone, Souji Seta stares into the screen and tilts his head quizzically. For those attentive enough, they'll see that he's by the magazine stand.]
Hmm...maybe I should adjust it a little. Oh, well. [...] If anyone can hear me, my name is Souji Seta. I'd appreciate a few directions, especially towards the nearest lodging.
...Oh, and if anyone has a job opening, I'd like to talk.
[It does look like he's going to be around for a while...so he might as well adapt as soon as he could.]

It annoyed her, a little. Whatever force was behind this world had drawn in one of her little representatives. Somehow, that bothered her more than the fact that she had been taken.]
2/2 [Video, Private]
...So, this place has found you as well, son of man.
[Video, Private] 1/2
Crimson eyes, the shroud that concealed much of her form and even seemed a tad too big for her...even that visible mist that followed her wherever she went. All that was missing was for it to suddenly start raining in her presence, for them to be within arm's reach or so -- and it would feel much like their very first meeting at that station on the 20th. But of course that wouldn't be all.
At the sound of her voice, he has to hold onto the side of his head with one hand to curb the throb that follows. Izanagi's as agitated by her as ever, and he's not so sure he likes the prospect of having to deal with this for the duration of his stay...
...huh. It's probably telling that that's what he's more bothered with than Izanami herself. He didn't really have anything against her after that whole endeavor, if he had to be really blunt about things...]
[Video, Private]
...It seems that way.
The world must be full of surprises if we're meeting again like this.
[Video, Private]
Coming face to face with Souji again? It was a strange feeling. It felt like there was still so many things she couldn't understand about the actions he and his Investigation Team took.]
This world is a strange one...and not one I created.
[Video, Private]
[He's not being accusatory as he would be had she done anything wrong. In fact, he's kind of surprised himself, and his emphasis on her presence is all the more striking for it. Unless there's another god at work behind this, there's just no way that Izanami would have been brought all this way from where she was resting.]
Just what would need the presence of another god?
[Video, Private]
[Right now, she wasn't sure if she was being accused of this mess or not, but the last thing she wanted was for Souji's little group to believe she went back on her promise to them.]
As of yet, I've found out very little about this place...it's frustrating that whatever force is behind this place feels that it can encroach so far into my domain.
[She hated the fact it could take her and one of the ones she chose even more, but that was left unsaid.]
[video]
Just don't mind that it looks like Gintoki is hiding in a box. He's totally not hiding from a tiny, angry woman.]
If you don't mind doing random odd jobs, I could hire you.
[video]
Thankfully, he's far from the sort to point that sort of thing out straight away. He's got things to get in order. 8U]
That isn't very specific. What do they entail, exactly?
[video]
Pretty much anything. It could be something as simple as tracking down a lost pet, or something as dangerous as tracking down a notorious criminal.
[video]
...The last one does catch his attention though. So he can't really get away from the life of being a teenage sleuth that easily, huh? Oh well.}
Doesn't sound out of place to me. How much are you offering on the check?
[video]
Well I can't promise any specific amount... Or that it'll be a regular paycheck... But I'm out of the office right now, so whatever jobs come in will just be split between you and my other employee.
[video]
[Because this sounds like one of those jobs where he has to deal with clients... :| Probably a good thing he does really well with people...]
[video]
video;
I'm glad to see you here. [It felt like a while since she last saw him. It was a nice thing to see him.]
video;
It's good to see you too, Yukiko-san. [He does muse over whether or not he's being a little too forward by using her first name, but they were pretty closely knit, weren't they? If she takes any offense, he'll go back to using her surname with no issue...] Have you been well?
video;
I've been fine. I've even opened up an inn for new arrivals if you ever need a place to stay. [It was where she currently was and now that she thought about it, she thought it might be best to actually see him in person.]
Are you still at the Bay if I may ask?

[ She reads them out slowly while counting on her fingers as she does to make sure she has all of them listed. ]

[He'll have to see how the first offer he got turns out, but...]
The front desk should work then; I work best with people.

[Shush, he does plan on getting a place to stay. Hopefully soon.]

[Though she does consider that maybe he's like her, and he's done this song and dance before. Nothing wrong with a little friendly teasing though, right?]
[video]
[Teasing overtones? What teasing overtones?]
[video]
I was just teasing you a little--most people aren't as calm as you when they're taken to some strange world. [She would know, but that's besides the point. A slight laugh escapes her.] But hey, what do you mean by "fresh opportunity?"
[Video] Souuuujjiiiii! :3
Hi, Mr. Seta.
[The boy, thirteen at best, is thinking as he starts talking. He fiddles with the brim of his hat, tilting his head before continuing.] Miss Amagi opened up an inn. And then, there are loads of flats all over Genessia City. So long as you don't choose a very fancy one, it's not so expensive that you can't survive for a while with the money they give you when you get here.
I have a map if you'd like, too. The ones they've got in the library are out of date and don't have a lot of the newer buildings or shops that were started by people brought here, like us.
[Is that it? Did he cover the important things?]
Oh! I'm Luke Triton, by the way. It's nice to meet you, Mr. Seta.
