This is indeed most troubling. I assume if there is anyone I am familiar with here, the sound of my voice should be enough to alert them to my presence. That said, I would appreciate being contacted at your earliest convenience.

[He clicks the device off and swings his cane to rest on his shoulder as he sets off in search of a coffee shop.]

Quite well, actually. I have been watching her progress closely, and have not been disappointed.

Friend is a highly subjective word. I do not think I know her well enough on a personal level to really call her that.

That said, her safety is of the utmost concern for me, and I do believe she trusts me.
