1st angel feather - [video]
[Once Colette leaves the bay, she decides to try the videophone just as the pamphlet suggested. She turns on the video option, prepares to speak--]
Ah--!
[--and trips over herself, the videophone flying from her hands. Naturally, this means the first bit of video will be whatever bits and pieces of surrounding the videophone catches as it falls. A few moments later, Colette's voice can be heard again.]
Oh... oh, no... I hope I didn't break it-- [She picks it up, examining it.] Ah, thank goodness. Looks like it's just fine...
[A few more moments pass before she realizes that the videophone's still recording, and she laughs sheepishly.]
Whoops! I'm very sorry about that, everyone. Anyway, it's very nice to meet you all. My name's Colette, and I'm new to this place... Genessia, right? Um... I'm really not sure what to do right now. This pamphlet told me the basics, but I'm still really confused. Oh well, I'm sure I'll figure it out! I just have to do my best, but if anyone wants to help me out that would be appreciated too. Thank you for your time, and I'm sorry if I've been any inconvenience.
[She cuts off the feed, sighing a little to herself. Truth be told, she's a lot more troubled than she let on. What happened right before she came here... was it real? No, she... she wants to believe in her friend. There's no way he would have done what she remembers, right? There's no way that's true.
...Lloyd would probably scold her if he were here right now. There's no use worrying, is there? She just has to do her best, right?
Still, it makes her so sad to think about.]

Welcome to a strange place.

Thank you, ah... I'm sorry, what's your name?

My name's Pidonus. Good to meet you.

It's nice to meet you too, Pidonus!

[Pidonus chuckles a little.]
Genessia's different, for sure, but it's far from unlivable.

[She can only hope this place is full of the happiness that home doesn't have just yet. ...though that thought saddens her a little bit. She really shouldn't be here at all...]

[Sheena and Regal had been enemies of her group at first, after all!]

[She doesn't really want to agree with that. Even with Yggdra--Mithos, and all he's done, she doesn't want to believe that...]

[Colette, please.]

[A light chuckle comes from Pidonus' voice.]
Of course, there's other things - more practical - to be concerned with here.

My name's Jeb, by the way. It's nice to meet you!
Ah, yes! I would be happy to be shown around if you're willing to do that for me! But if it's not convenient, please don't trouble yourself. I don't want to be a bother!
It's nice to meet you too, Jeb.

[Typical Colette.]
If I tell you where I am, will you be able to meet me?

I'll be waiting, then. ...um, but please take your time, okay? There's no need to rush!

[Hikari smiled slightly. She at least knows of a way to help.]
I believe there was something that opened up recently that might help you figure things out and help you get settled.
video;
Oh, really? That would be a big help! Please, could you tell me more about it?

[She was pretty sure that was the purpose of it anyway.]

Pelor-shit, you heard that? Uh, well, they're...people who ain't dicks, really. [Which, from the tone of her voice, is truly bizarre in the woman's experience]

Was I not supposed to? I'm sorry, but my hearing is really, really good. I didn't mean to pick up on something I wasn't supposed to hear. [...] Is "Pelorite" a compliment, then?
[Reaction]
All the colour drained out of his face in an instant.
Fuck.
He'd gone over six months now without anyone from back home being brought into Genessia. That made his attempts to hide who and what he was extremely easy, for the most part, and frankly? He was more than happy to keep things that way. Not to mention...in his last moments, he'd proved himself a worthless traitor. Who knows how they'd react to him here?
Colette...his fellow Chosen. She had to be one of the last people he wanted to see. The last time he saw her, he'd just handed her over to Cruxis. She hadn't been one of the ones who'd had a hand in killing him, but in some ways that made this whole thing worse. He couldn't just be hostile to her like all the others.
Plus...whilst only Ishtar knew about his status as Chosen of Tethe'alla, if she started talking about the worlds they came from, about her Cruxis Crystal -- or worse still if she started talking about him and the others -- soon people would start to realise he'd been lying to them.
He'd sooner deal with Mithos than this.
For now, Zelos just stared at the communicator as she gave the warm, friendly introduction she always did, nausea rising up in his throat. This just couldn't be happening, could it?
Before she could finish, he slammed the communicator shut without a word.]
