[When Ruby pops up on the video screen today she's a whole more serious than she normally does. Her sister is missing and she's gone into "Leader" mode for the moment. Ain't no one got time for silliness right now.]

My sister Yang hasn't been seen or heard from since the New Years Party a couple days ago. If anyone has any information on where she might be, please speak up about it.

That said, I'm putting together a search party to try and get and track her down, anyone interested can either respond to me here or meet me in the lobby of Tupelo Alley in next two hours.

-Oh! Right, and a big thanks to anyone who helps out.

[And after that Ruby can be found pacing around the lobby of her apartment building. Waiting for anyone to show up or get a hold of her.]

I've been here for about half an hour, Ruby.

[He sets the cookies on a table and pulls up a chair, motioning for her to do the same.]

I will do everything within my power to see Yang brought back safe. First, however, I will need all the information you can provide me with in regards to who is here. I've met with Lie Ren, and spoke briefly with a man I am sure is Adam Taurus. Who else should I be aware of?

[Half an hour? Wait, Lie Ren is here too? That's news to her. With her blood pumping as it was she wasn't so sure that sitting down was a good idea, but she'll give it a try.]

Well Yang, Weiss, Blake, I didn't even know that Adam guy was from our world, Jaune, Nora, a girl named Penny, A Faunus named Sun, and myself. I think that's about it.

[She doesn't know that Pyrrha is here yet either.]

[The first thing he needs to do is attempt to calm Ruby down. He understands this is her sister and all, but... this sort of thing will lead to recklessness.]

Yes, Adam has history with two of your team, but that is not my place to talk of.

[He goes quiet for a moment, sipping on his coffee as he thinks.]

Penny will be our greatest asset in a search. Blake, Adam - if he agrees to cooperate - and Sun can only do so much in the tracking department. Penny's unique abilities will serve us well in keeping the search active at all times.

[He takes another sip.]

Does Yang have any enemies here?

[Adam knows two of her team mates? Well that's new to her. She'll have to ask about that when her sister isn't missing.]

Well once I get a hold of her, I'll be sure to ask if she'll help out.

[She doesn't really get how Penny will be able to help in the search, she didn't particularly make finding Blake any easier when they were back home. ...But she did kick a lot of butt.]

...I wouldn't say any particularly out to get her, but there are two people who've been kind of getting under everyone's skin. Our best guess is that they're involved somehow.

[It's not uncommon for anything he knows to be hidden from others. Information was his specialty after all. Besides, with Qrow keeping an eye on all things regarding his niece and relaying it back to him, Ruby can't do practically anything off campus without Ozpin knowing about it.]

Tell me everything you know about these two.

[B-but that means they know that she took the last cookie from the cookie jar!

She'll sigh and shift nervously in her seat. She should be helping find her sister right now, but this was kind of important too.]

Okay well one's a big scary muscly guy named Bison. He seems kind of crazy and has delusions of world domination.

The other guy... ....The other guy is named M and well we don't really know much about him aside from his alias.

...He tried to kill me last month for the fun of it.

As much as I think that he might be doing this now, when he went at me he was sending texts to everyone else and mocking them the whole time, it's been too quiet for it to be him.

[Yes, he knows. And is impressed with the speed with which Ruby managed it.]

The simple fact that you are sitting here before me tells me that your team proved to be a match for this "M" person. That, along with the lack of mocking texts would seem to indicate that the perpetrator is indeed Bison.

Before we go on, however... [He pushes the plate of cookies towards Ruby slightly.] You must keep your strength up, Ruby. I know you're worried about your sister. However, as leader of your team, Weiss and Blake will be looking to you for guidance. It may seem selfish, however, you cannot help Yang if you starve yourself and exhaust yourself.

You don't look like you've eaten anything since Yang turned up missing, nor does it look like you've slept. Now that I am here, I can coordinate search efforts while you tend to your physical needs.

Well it is more likely that it's him, but we still don't have any proof at the moment.

[Her eyes will shift between Ozpin and the plate of cookies for a moment. She's been too worried to even think about eating anything, and well she hates to admit it, but he's right. She can't really help Yang if she's a complete wreck.]

Everything should be okay for now. There are a couple search parties out and they'll call if they see anything.

...I guess it would be good to get a quick bite to eat in...

[And for her next trick, watch that plate of cookies, disappear!]

Proof is not the primary concern at the moment. Finding Yang is all that matters. We can establish evidence and guilt after the fact. If there is any chance he may be involved, he must be investigated.

[He quietly sips his coffee as he watches Ruby eat. It was always rather fascinating just how fast she could inhale cookies. ...Though he really does need to start producing healthier food for her than chocolate chip cookies...]

Not a problem. [He grins a bit.] I wouldn't want to face Yang's wrath if she thought I wasn't properly taking care of you, after all.

She let's the idea sit for a little bit. It's true, finding Yang is more important than whether Bison actually did or not.]

Right... So we just need to find him or one of his goons.

[She's totally fine if you just keep dumping cookies on her. She wont complain at all.]

Heh. For some reason I'm not surprised that she even has you a little worried.

[He just smirks and takes a sip out of his coffee.]

Quite the opposite, Ruby. I just woke up in a strange place, found that some of my most promising students and I had been kidnapped, Yang was in particular danger, and there is no way to contact Beacon.

I am beside myself with worry, Ruby. However, as leaders, we cannot allow that to show. Your team will be looking to you for strength, especially with Yang missing. You must maintain a calm state of mind so as to see everything that is available to you.

Being a leader is equal parts what you do, and how you're seen.

[Why do you have so many good points, Ozpin. WHY!?]

I hadn't really thought of it that way.

...You really woke up in a pickle only to find out we weren't faring much better.

Well, I'll do my best, it's harder than it looks but I can't them down, or Yang.

And I know you won't. Every team's leader is appointed by me. I take Glynda's recommendations into account, but I ultimately have the final decision. You are team RWBY's leader, because I have faith in your skill, your potential, and your compassion.
