[Yugi hadn't really been expecting to find himself waking up in a pod and surrounded by water. Last thing he recalled was something that didn't really involved falling asleep. But he tried to keep as calm as a young boy could while he made sure he had everything before leaving the Bay, seeing the hologram explaining things in a rather polite manner he had to admit.]

So I guess I'm a long way from home, huh? [He seemed like he was talking to himself, but he was kind of use to doing that, except this one time where there was no talk back from a certain other that had him a tiny bit worried. He had the puzzle after all.]

That's odd. [He shook his head for a moment before he realized that maybe it was a good time as any to look for the welcome place and figure out what to do next before trying to figure out why the other was so quiet. Not really knowing the other wasn't there.]

So... Which way should I be heading? [He looks a little puzzled as he walks. Maybe it would have been a good idea to actually ask someone for directions at least.]

[It had been an hour or so since he arrived and had found a nice inn to stay at for the meantime while he tried to figure things out. Now that he can work this device he switches it on. Might as well say hello to those in the same boat after all.]

Good afternoon, I believe it is. I'm Yugi Mutou and I just arrived here and I've at least managed to find a place to stay at temporarily. I actually have a few questions that I'm a little curious about. Firstly are there any game shops around here? [yes, that is his first question. Gotta have something to do while trying to figure out what to do work wise.] Secondly, I've never really had a job before so I was wondering what kind of jobs there are out that that are simple and easy to understand for a beginner. [That question seemed reasonable.] Lastly... [He pauses to think about it. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to ask the last question.] Actually I think that is all the questions I could ask.

[He wonders if there isn't a game shop though, he might consider opening one up himself. Wouldn't hurt anyone and it would be easy enough for him to do, but he figured first things first he'd need more red bills first to afford a building.]

What kind of games?

All sorts of games. Board games, card games, video games. There's a long list but that's the general idea of what I'm thinking about.

[He isn't even that fussed over what kind really. He just really likes playing games. Besides no one else has the type of card game he has currently. So can't play that.]

Hi, Jeb. So I would need to go to Attleton to buy some then? I guess I can do that.

[He leans forward slightly, he was happy with that answer at least.]

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who enjoys a game or two.

It's n-nice to meet you. I'm Armin Arlert. [A hesitant smile on his face, he looks to be a couple years older than Yugi, though wan and thin. He's wearing a green shirt he looks a little uncomfortable in, and there's severe bruising visible on his throat.]

I'm not sure about game shops, but there are job listings in the weekly paper. A waiter or a receptionist might be a good starting position.

[Armin pauses for a moment, thoughtful.]

Actually... if I remember correctly, there was a place called the Nova City Arcade that was hiring. I think an arcade is a place that has games, right?

There's probably something at the mall, but I'm no expert.

I guess looking at the mall is always the best first place to go, thank you miss.

[He couldn't help but notice, but it would certainly seem rude to ask about that, especially since he doesn't know him. So he keeps quiet for the meantime.]

Those could be good start. I guess I should wait for the newspaper and see what is there work wise. [He nods slightly.]

It does. I should really go check it out and see what there is there as well. [He gives a small smile.]

Thank you for telling me these things and I hope that we can talk more in the future. Though I guess in a way we could talk more now.

Yeah! And you're not the only one, Minako likes them and there's some others, too. Video games, puzzles, cards...they're all fun!

Game shops? What kind of games are you thinking of?

[He pauses for a moment.]

Maybe I should consider doing a little get together or something and play some games.

Any kind really. [He really will play any kind of game.]

You got board games, card games, video games among other things.

It's Emerald, actually.

Ah, okay. Emerald. That's a very nice name.

Thanks. Yours was Yugi? Does it mean anything?

That is correct. Though do you mean if my names means anything or something else?

Yeah. Emerald is a green gemstone, for example. Does "Yugi" mean anything?

That sounds fun! I bet we could get plenty of people to join in, too!

My name means 'Game' in Japanese. It's nothing special, but I like it.

[Which is kind if ironic since he does enjoy his games very much.]

Game. Huh. [ She pauses for a moment. ] Japanese is the language where you're from?

That's correct. Though there are other languages all over the world where I am from, but Japanese is the main one in my country.

Is there anything I can do to help?

Right now, I just need to find some games that's all. I mean the ones I new back home might not be here in this place. So it's just a case of looking.

I guess if you can keep an eye out for me that will help.
