Mavis!? WHat sort of tgrouble did you get us into, with this "adventure"... I told her we should have stayed on Tenrou island!

Mavis!? how am I supposed to protect her when she's not here...

[A slip of the fingers, and the video's gone. Zeira, meanwhile, continues to run as fast as her little legs can carry her.

An alleyway looks nice and isolated to her, free from people. She can catch her breath there, and maybe figure out where to go from here. If Mavis had been stuffed into a pod and dragged to this strange place, liek she had...]

[Though. Maybe someone should tell Zeira that dark alleyways aren't the safest place...]

[Yugi had been thinking things over. Which was weird since he could think without the other him speaking back to him or at least making some kind of noise. It was like he had lost something and he couldn't help but really hate that. While he was in the middle of his thoughts, he hadn't been paying that much attention to what was going on around him and nearly bumped into someone in the alleyway.]

Ah, sorry. [He moved to the side, snapping out of his own thoughts and letting the native past as he soon spotted someone else in the alley.]

[Sure his hair wasn't exactly something one would consider normal per say, but he wouldn't think that would make him strange in anyway. Thinking about what she said he remembered he hadn't really been here long as as far as he was aware, he hadn't seen or heard anyone fitting that description. It was quite sad really that he couldn't help.]

{ No point in tying to hide it, then. Zeref switched on the camera, and sighed. He appears to be in some dark catacombs, lit by an overhead chandelier projecting blue light, fueled by Curse Power. The place is a bit of a mess. They're still not done cleaning up from Kefka's attempted invasion of Tartaros' headquarters. He, Marde Guille, Sayla, and Suigintou (fueled by Zeref as her medium) were more than a match for his monsters, but they still kind of trashed the place. }

As I said, however, Mavis isn't here... anymore.

[He is seriously confused about what he has done wrong. He was polite and nice and very willing to help and he gets that in return. He had to wonder if they just don't like people who are polite or something and that is just weird.]

But I'm not one of the people who dragged us all here. I was dragged here myself, so we are in the same boat. [Oh great, someone who can use magic. That was the last thing he needs after what has happened during Battle City.]

[She had heard the yelling from a little way off. Whoever it was, they sounded rather distressed. Poor thing.

Soon enough, she spotted Zeira darting into an allyway just up the road, and calmly headed toward it. Not wanting to startle the newcomer, she called over from the ally entrance.]

Hey. Everything alright?

[She's just get used to the device herself. But she's finds it really cool.]

ZEIRA!!! [She already gets the feeling she's gonna love this place.]

I'm here! [She waves at the screen.]

[Its a bit of a pity for Zeira isn't quite as empty as she might like. With a muted groan, the rustling of cloth and metal touching metal echoes somewhat nearby, punctuated by a loud yawn.]

But that was his most precious memory, helping Mavis, and the others. Even if he didn't remember much, if anything, about Zeira in particular. Watch me have to retcon that. }

The first thing you need to learn about this world is that time has no meaning, here. People are being brought here from all manners of worlds and time periods. For example, I over a century into your future.
