[Neptune had been meaning to make this announcement for some time, but... Well, it didn't seem appropriate when that tower had been in the middle of the city. But there wasn't any reason to put it off anymore, so here he was. This was going to be kind of a new thing for him, but he had confidence in himself.]

Alright, Genessia, because I'm bored of just working at the library, I'm here to offer my skills as a fashion consultant. What does that mean, you might be asking yourself? Well, it means I'll help you pick out the clothes that make you look the best. Whether that means helping you shop for new things, or going through your current wardrobe. For a reasonable price, of course.

[ She honestly didn't know what she wanted. She didn't really want him to leave, but she knew he probably had to talk to Sun. ]

I won't make you leave and I don't really want you to, but.. Sun's probably waited long enough. [ Weiss reached up and brushed her hair out of her eyes. ]

If you want to stay, I can still try on the clothes.

[This wasn't really an easy decision to make. He really wanted to go help look for Blake and let Sun know what was going on but... Weiss obviously needed to be doing something that might help her take her mind off things.

After a couple moments of silent deliberation, he decided he trusted that Yang would be okay on her own for now.]

I'll stay.

[ She'd expected him to go find Sun. After he's gotten mad she hadn't told him, after she'd been yelling at him, even told him that he wasn't reliable. He still wanted to stay instead of just leave her alone.

Weiss finally steps fully away from the staircase, moving over to the couch to get the clothes he'd brought with him. She said she would try them on, and frankly.. talking about this more wasn't going to get either of them anywhere. ]

Do you want me to make you something to drink before I try these on?

[It was hard to make the decision to stay, but she was his friend and she needed him too. He wasn't going to abandon her when he thought he might be able to help, even a little bit.]

No, I'm good. But thanks.

[ The fact that he wanted to stay for her was honestly making her feel better on her own. If a little guilty. ]

You should call Sun while I'm changing then. I think we'll both feel better if you do.

[ She starts heading up the stairs again with the clothes he brought for her. She'll take her time changing to give him a bit of time for her suggestion. ]

I'll do that.

[He won't really, because he knows that Sun will want him to go help and maybe get upset about him wanting to stay with Weiss for a bit longer.]

[ She goes to change, taking a little longer than she normally would have. Mostly because she was trying to take deep breaths, calm herself down. Make sure that she didn't start getting upset again. Neptune was staying for her, so she wanted to make sure that she showed him that she would be okay so he would stop worrying. The fact that he was here was definitely helping.

When she finally came back down, she was wearing the plum dress and everything he'd bought with it, with one of her black petticoats underneath it. She didn't wear the black ones often, but it matched the boots and overall color tone of the outfit, so she figured it was fine. She'd looked in her mirror before she came back down the staircase. It was a little odd to see herself wearing such dark clothing, but it was certainly warm. She left the jacket unbuttoned for now, so that the plum dress

She peeked down the stairs to look for Neptune before she comes down them again, keeping quiet in case he's still on the phone like she thought he would be. ]

[He checked his phone to see if maybe Yang had sent out messages while she was out searching but... Nothing yet. This also made it look like he'd just finished up on a call when she came back downstairs.]

I knew the plum would look good on you. I know you don't normally wear dark colors though, so I understand if you don't like it.

I like it, I just...

[ She looks down at her dress, lifting the edge of the skirt up as if in a half-curtsy. Weiss seems to relax the tiniest bit when she sees him apparently getting off of his phone, though. ]

I don't look much like me. Which could definitely be a good thing if I'm looking for a day to myself, so it's not bad. And it's very well put together.

Oh good, I'm glad you like it.

It would be a good outfit for an incognito day.

Any recommendations for a hat that would go with this?

[ Her hair is kind of a big problem for any chance at being incognito. ]

Hmm... Maybe a knitted hat? One of those loose ones. It would cover up most of your hair.

I think you may be onto something. I can probably put my hair up in a bun to hide more of it, too.

That'd work really well. Add on some of those really big sunglasses, and you're set.

I think I might attract attention if I wore sunglasses like that.

[ At least, Zuko saw right through them that one time she'd tried.. ]

You're probably right. They do make it pretty obvious that you're trying to hide.

What if I got contacts?

[ She's trying to imagine herself with another color of eyes now but.. honestly, she loves her eye color. ]

That could work, but I've heard that contacts can be pretty uncomfortable. Honestly, I think the clothes and the hat will most likely be enough.

There are some people who can very easily tell. Believe me, I've tried.

[ Like 95% for fun, 5% for trying to overtip her boyfriend, and 5% trying to get her friends to meet Zuko before Neptune even got here. ]
