1st ♥ For The First Time Ever | [video/action]

[Wow, this girl here sure looks all too excited for a new arrival. Maybe she's not a new arrival...]

I -- think I got this to notice me? Is this how it works? I sure hope so, because otherwise I'll be just talking to myself and that's kind of okay, but it's not fun! Anyway, hello! Hi... How do I start a video about me -- Hey, hello I'm Anna, princess of Arendelle and the little sister of queen Elsa! [Oh, wait. There's a very tiny pause. Don't get used to it, she could go on and on forever.] ...Well, I'm not a princess here, so you can just forget that part and I promise I won't be too surprised if you've never heard of Arendelle, since I had never ever even heard of this place either!

But wow, am I so ready for this change! Even though I'm still not sure if this thing actually works, or well, I'm not sure of anything yet! But I'll find out -- I only just woke up so everything is still new to me, whenever I can take a good look around everywhere! This is amazing, I've never lived in a huge place like this!!

[So, yes, she is new. And this technology is new to her, but that just makes everything even more exciting in her opinion. Anna gasps in excitement, looking even more excited if that's even possible.]

Are there actual, real, live people here? I mean, Miss Schnee, said many others have arrived too? I don't mind talking to this weird little... thing, seriously it's so much better than talking to painted pictures on the walls, but I kind of prefer talking face to face whenever I can! Still, this would have been wonderful back home too if I can really talk with everyone on this weird screen too!? That's so strange, but I'll get used to it.

And this might sound totally crazy, but since we're all brought here by some magic from ... some, different places maybe, are there people, who know magic? I'm just curious and my only special skill is probably making a giant snowman angry by throwing a snowball at it! But if it's possible, that people here know some magic or have some powers, then maybe you can tell me about your powers? [She's honestly just curious, and yes, almost casually asking about those is obviously what you're supposed to do.]

Well, even if you don't have anything like that, it's totally fine by me! I'm just an ordinary girl myself and I can't wait to meet everyone -- we can talk about anything, or you can come out and play with me, yes? We can build a snowman, well it doesn't have ot be a snowman; it could be a horse, reindeer or whatever you want it to be! [So she's just aiming to befriend everyone somehow?] Anyway, Elsa's castle is there, so I hope Elsa is here too! I really should go tell her, that I'm here now and we can be together again. ...Okay, bye!

[Oh look, she's finally done with all the crazy rambling. Maybe. Maybe she'll return... Nope, not this time. She really wants to find her sister now.]

[ A C T I O N ]

[ If you happen to be anywhere near the Bay, you just might see this girl there. Or maybe she'll run to you and Anna being ... well, Anna, will cheerfully greet anyone she sees (with a "Hello~!") while she's clearly heading to that ice castle. She's an easily distracted person, so even though she looks busy, she might stop to talk with anyone for a moment.

Well, she's also very clumsy. So once she gets to that icy trail -- that is so clearly made by her sister -- she'll be flailing her arms a lot while she's trying to stay on her feet. She's had a lot of practice of this back home by now, she's still not good at rushing on ice. Not that she's good at skating either. Help? Or watch out in case you happen to be there, she might literally run into you and try to grab your arm or back for help.

Maybe she should be worried about the ice castle. It's not exactly a happy memory from home, but well, at least this time Anna knows how to fix things if it happens again! So she's not worried at all.

Anna will get to that castle, eventually. This time she'll just walk in from the door and looks around smiling because this is a really familiar place in a way, probably the most obvious sign to know about Elsa being here too. Where does she even start looking? First floor? Second floor? It's so quiet while Anna is walking there slowly. Maybe Elsa isn't home or maybe someone's hiding here... Well, calling out her name worked last time too, so... Oh, but calling out her name ruins half of the surprise. Oh well...]

Elsa? Elsa, are you here?!

[Lucky for Anna, she was actually there, but only to say goodbye to the castle. Seeming as it was probably a problem being there and she no longer lived here, it was only natural to take it down. Still, even if this castle didn't last long, she was going to miss it. Then again, she could always just as easily make a new one if she really needed to.

She hadn't noticed anyone else come in since she was on the second floor looking out of the balcony, but soon enough she heard someone calling her name.

No... That...]

[She hurried down to the top of the stairs on by the first floor and...]

Anna! Is that..

[It was her. She hurried down the stairs, elegantly without slipping on the ice; considering she was the ice queen... When she was finally off the stairs, she threw her arms around the girl and tightly hugged her.]

Anna! I'm so happy to see you.

[Armin looks at the video feed, almost bemused. A strange reaction to being kidnapped, to be sure - but not the strangest he's seen, after a year of arrivals in liminal space back when he was a Traveler.

And she's a princess! That doesn't mean all too much to Armin, but he's tried to respect peoples' offices before, even where they didn't necessarily apply - and the fact that she's fine with the fact she's not a princess here convinces him she's worthy of that respect.

He turns on the video and immediately salutes, right first clutched in front of his heart. It's more casual than he would giving it to an actual superior, but still appears to be serious.] It's nice to meet you, Princess Anna. I'm Armin Arlert, of the Survey Corps.

[He gives her a small, only slightly hesitant smile.] I just arrived here a few days ago, myself. But there are quite a few actual, live people here, yes.

[Colour Zelos surprised. There was very little in all that he could fault her on - she knew very well their titles meant nothing and accepted it, and happily embraced this new world as she did.]

Wow, it's not everyday we get someone so cheerful show up. You certainly know how to brighten up a place, beautiful~

My name's Zelos, Zelos Wilder. Nice to mee you.

You're a real life princess?! [ This is her first time seeing one, so she's rather shocked, especially as she brings her hand to her chest, eyes widening ever so slightly. ]

[Not that she had much trouble in kind of chasing Elsa on those steps last time, but she doesn't even need to find out how it goes this time! Not right now anyway since calling out her sister's name works like magic and Anna grins as soon as she sees her.]

Of course it's me!

[Does she have to prove it by talking so much, that only she can talk so much? Or something else? No, but Anna sure is flailing in excitement when Elsa comes down the stairs. That just answers everything just as well as words would do it; it's just makes it so clear that Elsa is not building castles to isolate herself here.]

[Anna throws her arms around Elsa as soon as she can, closes her eyes for a moment and keeps smiling there.]

I'm so happy to see you too, Elsa! What are you doing, here in this castle? I mean, it's a great sign of you being here and all, but -- -- okay, you know what, I wouldn't have found you this soon if this hadn't been here, so I'm just glad it exists.

[She's not used to military salutes! So when he does that, Anna kind of wonders what it is. She blinks, blinks again. But things that come from heart are important though, so at least she seems to like it after the surprise!

Hmm, well she won't mind if people don't drop the princess part. Maybe he can keep adding it, for now. But Anna sure looks very cheerful here, she can't stop smiling after a grin.]

It's great to meet you, Armin! What kind of surveys do you do? Like, are they long or short polls? Do you go from door to door, or tell people to send papers to you?

[You totally meant opinion polls with surveys, right?? No? Well, looks like she thinks so!]

We can be new here together! And actual, real, live people are great, though I haven't met anyone yet - you know, outside these screens. But I'll try to, as soon as I can. First I need to find my sister!

Betelgeuse makes himself stop laughing, before he answers her. He's actually a bit impressed that she managed to say all that in one go!

"Hi there, babes. Yeah, there's real people here and not just living ones, either," he corrects, a wet chuckle escaping from deep in his chest. "If you wanna know about magic, I'm the guy to ask. I'm the ghost with the most, after all! I can steal voices, possess people, animate inanimate and dead things, transform into things, y'know what I mean? Ghost type stuff."

I guess I'm not so surprised by that, most people don't like being kidnapped. I think -- I've never met others, who have been kidnapped, so I wouldn't know for sure. But if people are from different places, then isn't this just a really exciting place to kidnap people to? But brightening a place or people up is really important! Maybe we need more new arrivals, who'd have similar reaction to this. ...Or maybe people just need a little time to get used to after they arrive.

[Still rambling as if she's talking to pictures on the walls? Yeah, well, considering how recently she's used to having human company back home too... No, actually, she just really likes talking.]

Nice to meet you too! How long have you been here?

[Anna looks sheepish.]

Yes? Well, I'm not a very princess-like princess, but I was born to Arendelle's royal family.

[Awwww, it's okay! It's Anna's first time ever for many things here, but she's used to royalty and doesn't... really know how it's such a big deal.]

Well, the worst or best thing is that she could just keep talking once she gets started, so that could have been a lot longer.

... Babes, really? Zelos above calls her beautiful and now this. Anna is not used to this and she kind of has a true love back home, so it feels even more weird to hear compliments from people. But congratulations, the rest of your reply gets her quiet for a moment! Anna looks clearly surprised or maybe even almost shocked by it.

"...How are they ... alive if they're not --- well, you know, alive?" She comes from a mostly normal world, what is this? "I've never met a ghost before, not that the ones back home would probably even be visible if we have any! Umm, I thiiiiink I'm more interested in -- less ghost-type magic. Why would you steal voices, possess anyone or animate those? I guess if you wanted to make a charades show, stealing voices would be a way to make sure no one really talks, but -- Do you use your magic for good purposes?" Maybe you are a friendly ghost. There are friendly ghosts, right?

"They aren't. They're dead. I'm dead. Hence the ghost part, babes," Betelgeuse teased. "Sure, sure, I'm good. Real prince of a fella!"

He leered and winked.

"Naw, that's not what I meant by stealing voices. I mean I can make myself sound like other people," Betelgeuse explained, making his voice into hers. "It just comes in handy sometimes. Tends to creep people out, too! Ghost magic is good for all sorts of things, like scaring people, pranks, getting rid of pests...you name it!"

Any sister of our guild member is welcome to learn.

[TOO MANY WORDS AT ONCE.

Luke caught what she's said, but struggled to keep up. When she stops talking, a small mile crosses his face and he tips his hat politey. Now he can try and answer some questions without interrupting her.]

Hi, Princess Anna. I'm Luke Triton--it's nice to meet you.

And yes, Queen Elsa is here.

[A pause and Luke's smile slips just slightly for a moment: beneath the cheerful exterior is an obviously exhausted kid, who is looking a bit worse for wear. Another newcomer and she's got family from home here. It's visible just momentarily before he presses on.]

I don't live so far from the Bay if you'd rather talk in person.

...I don't have any powers though. I don't have any anything, honestly.

"... So dead people can walk here and ghosts are not invisible here. Okay, gotcha." Does she really get it? No one really knows, but it's kind of hard to deny it, when you're talking with someone, who says that stuff. Anna frowns when he says he's a prince. Ahaha, well... "Ummm, well the last prince I met tried to kill me and my sister, so I'm not really sure if all princes are good either!"

Why are you leering? And winking? Anna is just making a confused face here.

"...So you could easily be part of a group, who mimic and impersonate people." That's a less creepy option than using that kind of skill for evil, let's just put it that way. Anna leans back with a surprised look on her face, when he starts speaking in her voice. "...I can see how it could be handy..." In scary ways too. Is he creeping her out right now? Maybe not, because this is Anna, but that's definitely very surprising skill to have. "I don't really like scaring people though, and it depends on the prank but not really my style either maybe, and -- okay, I guess it would have been great to know more than ice magic, when that prince tried to kill us..." But Anna still looks very unsure about this ghost magic stuff.

I'm her only sister, if you're talking about Elsa! [and then this gets confusing.] What guild? Learn what?

[THERE CAN NEVER BE TOO MANY WORDS AT ONCE! Okay, so maybe she's still getting used to the fact that nowadays people listen to her and notice her, and she could probably come up with less words at once and still get answers... But well, she kind of really loves talking. A LOT.

Anna curtsies politely when he tips his hat. She's got this really wide grin all over her face.]

Hi! It's really nice to meet you too, Luke!

Ohh, I know, or well, I'd be surprised if her ice castle was here but she wasn't. But thanks, it's great to have confirmation for that.

[... Luke, are you okay? That doesn't go unnoticed by Anna, who's had her share of years of loneliness and doors slammed to her face.]

Sure, that would be great after I see Elsa! These screens are pretty great, but it's always different to talk in person.

... [.... Luke, no. That sounds too sad even if you don't necessarily mean it the way she understands it.]

I don't mind if people don't have them, as I said I don't have either. I'm just me. But I'm sure we all have something even if it's not powers like that, it might be in our personality or somewhere else where people can't see! It might just take time for us to realize it, but please don't say you don't have any anything, okay? You can have me as a friend, if that counts for something!

[ WOW.

There are honestly just no words to say at the moment because she's too much in shock as her cheeks flare a bright red. It's true that she may not act like the princesses in those fairy tales, but it's close enough. ]

This is my first time meeting one, so I'm really surprised! Um... I-I'm Sakura Chiyo, it's nice to meet you! [ She bows deeply, several times in fact as she bobs her head up and down. ]

[Anna is ... so very not used to this kind of behavior when people hear it. But she's giggling at her cute reactions and her cheeks are somewhat pink now.]

It's really nice to meet you too! Your name sounds like you could be a princess? But we can meet many times, so eventually you'll be less surprised, right?

[Armin looks confused for several moments until he figures out the mistake.]

Polls? N-no, it's... I'm a soldier. [How best to phrase it?] Back home, we... surveyed uncharted territory, I guess you could say.

[He doesn't want to lie, but he also doesn't want to explain the titans to anyone, especially someone this cheerful and carefree.]

Do you need help finding your sister? Are you sure she's here?

[It's Anna's turn to look confused. Soldier? Really?]

Aren't you kind of really young to be a soldier? You look more like a prince! [But ooops, okay, he means surveys like that!] That sounds really interesting! Unless it's a scary world, I guess, but that would be really fun in a safe world, you know? We have wolves and other dangerous animals like that back home, but it kind of reminds of me going to find Elsa, when she left the castle for ... reasons for a while! And well, now I can freely go see whatever I want outside the gates, but it's like I get to go there for the first time in forever.

[Yeah, you can totally skip explaining titans to her this time. Maybe she'll find out later. Maybe not. Not today anyway.]

I'm not sure! If she isn't in her castle, then I guess I'll ask around for help, but I'm pretty sure she's here since her ice castle is here. You know, the one in this place where we wake up. It's been a while since I saw it back home, but I'm sure its hers.

[He would have had a chance to see that castle, yes, because it's been there since Elsa's arrival or something.]

It is interesting - but my world isn't safe, unfortunately.

It's much safer here, though. I-if you want, since we're both new... after you find your sister, we could go exploring this world together sometime?

Twelve? That's -- so young! How old are you now?

[Oh, please. You look much more like a prince than people like Hans, and you act so much more like a prince than he ever genuinely did too. She really means it, even if it's really random but then most things Anna says are kind of random since she talks so much. Anna just grins at the thank you!

Except then she gets more serious for a moment, when Armin says his world isn't safe.]

Then I hope it will be safe sometime in the future?

[If his world being safe sometime in the future is even possible, we just don't know.

But that's that, let's not bother stranger with questions about his home world for longer if it isn't even a safe place!]

Yes yes yes, that sounds amazing and I'd love it! I don't know what happens after I find Elsa, obviously, I have no idea how long she's been here or if she has another place to stay than just that castle -- I can't stay there, it's too cold -- but maybe in a few days?
