In his hands is a large blue sitar, and he begins to play. If one could see his face, he'd be smiling as it's one of his favourite things to do. The box is beside him, but he's surprisingly talented when he puts effort into it and this?

This is his very first performance.]

Of course not...

Somebody I care about was almost killed too and.... he'd had his wings literally ripped out of him. A lot of lives had been killed in the explosion or at least injured and it was all just because "he was bored".

[He knows people like this, certainly, who would do things like this. He scratches the back of his neck awkwardly.]

I think I get what you're saying. That would hurt, probably.

[Unfortunately, Flonne is a pacifist and hates fighting. And to have people she loves nearly killed, its tough.]

My healing didn't help at all...

You can heal? That sounds useful.

That's right! With the power of love. I can do other stuff too, but some of my powers have been nerfed mostly because I no longer have access to them. A fallen angel can't exactly use holy powers.

[She does not sound bothered by that anymore like she used to. She's come to terms with that by now.]

[Despite himself Demyx takes a step back from her. Holy magic? Those things sounded an awful lot like the opposite of the darkness he embraced.]

That's interesting. [Probably very dangerous.]

The power of love can conquer everything! Of course.... It doesn't help that I'm in love with a stubborn, sometimes overbearing overlord. That being said, I'm used to my love speeches being ignored. He doesn't exactly believe it love much....

[They made up finally, but she really doesn't expect much from Laharl....]

But I don't have access to any powers I may have had as an angel trainee anymore.

I'd say the power of love is something I can't understand. But love holds some kind of power for you?

Holy magic is..well...probably incredible.

[ainoakuma]

Well, it's sort of a power, but it's so much more than just supernatural/magic power. As long as you can love, it can give you the strength to get through anything. No matter how many troubles you face... No matter what sort of tests you're put through. It can give you the courage to continue. It gives you a reason to fight and makes what you work for that much more important and fulfilling.

It's true that in some ways love makes you weaker, but at the same time it also makes you stronger. As long as I have love in my life I know I'll be okay. I know I'll be able to do anything with enough work and persistence.

Yes and no. Granted I was also just an angel trainee, not an actual full fledged angel yet.

Yeah, so it's interesting, and you were an angel trainee?

[Definitely wouldn't be a friend to the darkness, not that he's met any angels before.]

Mhm! I was sent to the Netherworld to "assassinate" the Overlord but... I found out later that Lamington-sama sent me there for a different reason than he gave me. The assassination didn't really go through and I met the Overlord's son, Laharl-san. But then he said that he didn't believe in love so I traveled with him and Etna-san to get him to believe in it.

Oh! So normal people don't have to believe in love either! Good.

[That's what he'll go with. Disbelief.]

So where should we go first?

[ainoakuma]

Well... To be fair, Laharl-san isn't exactly human... He's a demon, since the Netherworld is full of demons and a variety monsters. It's... unfortunately a location where backstabbing and fighting is normal there, so love isn't exactly the main focus there.

[And then with that in mind.]

Well, it would probably be good to find a place for you to live. I can meet up with you in a little while if you'd like.

Oh, I see. Well, a demon then I guess. But I'm sure some humans feel that way too.

[Demyx nods.]

I'll do that, thanks. Don't need much but a room with a roof and a bed I think. We could meet again, if you wanted.

I'm sure there are, but humans are more likely to go along with love than demons are.
