I heard what happen to some of the Beacon kids. I'm sorry to hear about it, I wish I'd known sooner so I could've helped in some way. If any of you need anything, let me know.

[ She looks pretty earnestly concerned while she says it, but after an appropriate pause, she adds an afterthought of sorts. It looks like she's posting from a chair and a table with a window in the background too, much higher up and nicer looking than her previous crap motel situation. ]

I guess it really is a little more dangerous around here than we thought, maybe someone will catch the guy soon.

[ Oh well. Now that she's done her concerned friend civic duties, she'll move on to a little more interesting topic. ]

Ehn, things have been a more relaxed in the non-Genessia archways. I've been trying to think of not-boring things to do. My question for everyone is: What are the funniest or worst dares you've ever done?

So why'd this person dare you to do that again?

I have several theories.

1) Despite his surly demeanor, he is, in actuality, a child, or at least has a childish disposition, and likes games. Hide-and-seek in this case. This is the one I suggested to him, and he did not deny it.

2) He is very, very tired of being needled, and thought running his interrogators through a mountainous death trap was an agreeable way to dispose of them.

3) Privy to some heavenly mode of thought that we mortals can only guess at, he prized his wisdom greatly, and would not let it be so easily grasped. Thus, he placed it behind a gate of Herculean effort, or a chivalrous, dangerous wager like the Green Knight.

It's hard to say definitively. Justice is an enigmatic figure.

If someone was interrogating him for something that was his, I can't see why a kid wouldn't want to run them through a mountainous death trap.

What else can one question anyone, except for responses that are theirs? You must have known some very naughty children.

Interrogating a child is different from asking a couple of questions, but I'm not here to judge.
