hello again, everyone.
this is Umetarou Nozaki. i'm a mangaka and i'm trying to come up with either my original manga to produce here or to start on another manga. i mostly do shoujo manga which is just romantic stories really.
my original manga was called Let's Fall in Love or Let's Love for short about two characters, Suzuki and Mamiko, where they are both in love and there are minor side stories about other couples. obviously, i can't reproduce them, so i'm wanting opinions on what people here would want to buy for manga.
if i get a good idea, I will put your character in my manga as well.
p.s. if anyone needs help at a business, i am also in need of a part time job.

[ he gets up from the couch, coming to knock on the door. of course he knows he's in there but he's not going to just barge in. this isn't his house anyway... ]

[Texting about the door because he needs to save energy for when they're actually talking. Getting up also requires too much effort.]

It sounded like the opposite of something Weiss would like. She was more the type to willingly read textbooks beyond what was required for homework. ]
I suppose everyone has different tastes.

I'm someone who isn't picky with manga, but love stories are something I could help come up with ideas for. For example how about love stories based through the ages?

would have to do some research first though

What's a mangaka? [The boy is clearly trying to imitate the word properly, sounding slightly odd in his British accent, stumbling.] It sounds like a story, but mostly people would say they're "writers" then.
Oh--and, um, your last name is Nozaki too--are you Mr. Mayu's brother?
Sort of. Mangaka draw all of the characters with their assistants to make a manga. It's like a Japanese comic book but usually about romance stories centering around girls. They're a huge hit in Japan.
Ah? [ he raises his brows ] Umetarou, that's my first name. Usually people only call me by my last name, but yes, Mayu is my younger brother. [ he leans in then, squinting his eyes ] Do you know what my brother has been up to while he's been here? He told his friend about some...weird things that happen here. It sounds like it's all from a video game.

[Luke is staring curiously. Despite not knowing what Nozaki had initially been referring to, he's still interested.] Some day I'd like to see one!
[There's a pause, and then Luke leans into the screen himself, tilting his head head, hat falling askew.]
Um. If you don't want to be called Mr. Umetarou-- [Which Luke might prefer since pronouncing that is a bit hard for him with one repetition] --I can call you Mr. Nozaki.
Mr. Mayu was teaching me Judo, because Miss Kiryuin said I had to learn how to defend myself. He went to the Dream Docks a little while ago too. I thought it wasn't a good idea...
He's been very nice to me, Mr. Nozaki.
[The kid leans forward till his chin is on the table, frowning.] Mr. Mayu's been here for a lot of the...strange things happening here that I remember too. The big snake witch eating buildings made of cheese and people losing all control of their actions and such, and Everyman spreading rumors about the guardians, and that scary sort with his funny priest-like guys, and people dying while fighting some of the bad people and then coming back to life like that's totally normal...
[SOMEONE IS OVERWHELMED Nozaki if Luke keeps going on he's going to really freak out. The boy trails off, rubbing his eyes, anxiety clear.]
Lots of really weird thing happen here, Mr. Nozaki. I try to just hide from them since I'm not so good at fighting, even though Mr. Mayu was teaching me...

[ Nozaki was going to show a manga piece that he was working on, but he frowns when he hears all of that ] You don't have to continue.
No wonder Mayu hasn't...been his usual self. I knew something was off about him when I arrived. He's been alone for too long without anyone else to care for him.
[ he messes around a little before holding up a single page with a sketch of a girl crying on it ] This is from my manga, Let's Fall in Love or Let's Love for short. The girl crying is Mamiko and the boy below her is Suzuki.
