What can one tell me about our current location that I have yet to be informed of curtsey of their quite generous pamphlet?
Any information would be appreciated as cooperation can only be beneficial to amongst parties that are informed they are incapable of leaving.
[ Spock remains in the area just outside the Bay, moving around it and scanning the streets with his eyes while he considers which route to take first.
He taps his comm badge. It chirps back at him. ]
Please respond if you copy.
[ So far nothing. ]

[No one knows much of anything, from what I can tell, pal. Welcome to Genessia. No one knows who brought us here or why. There's supposedly no way to get back. I haven't had much luck tracking the device or pamphlets to anyone. No one can tell me anything about this world's afterlife, either.]

May I inquire as to why you would question the world's afterlife? A planet's philosophic, religious, or mythological views on death is not often among one's informational priorities.

[Comm Badge]
[Kirk's comm device trills at him. Not the one the city gave him, the other device. With his cheek mashed into his pillow, the familiar sound startles him with a snort out of his deep sleep. Throwing back the blanket, he sits up, blinking blearily and glowering at the device. Did it just...?]
[HOLY SHIT. IT DID.]
[He can't scramble for it fast enough, nearly dumping himself out of bed as he launches himself off of the mattress, flipping open the communicator.]
Spock? Is that you?
[That means the Enterprise must be here. He can finally get off of this crazy planet!]
[Comm Badge]
[ That's a relief. Not that anyone would hear him sigh of relief because he doesn't exactly do that but. ] Yes. Is the signal clear?
Are you still aboard the Enterprise?
[Comm Badge]
[Theeeen comes the drop. Kirk exhales. Well, so much for that belief, but it's still nice to hear a familiar voice. Spock is a science officer too, they can probably figure something out between the two of them.]
No. No, I'm not. I was hoping that's where your signal was coming from. Hold on.
[He hops awkwardly on one leg as he puts on his pants, then yanks a shirt over his head.]
You at the Bay? I'll come meet you.
[Comm Badge]
I will wait.
[ Right here. No moving. ]
[Comm Badge] / [Action]
Kirk out.
[Have fun with those metaphors, Spock!]
* * * * *
[It doesn't take him too long to arrive, since he picks up the pace into a light jog several times along the way. He stops outside one of the many entrances to the Bay, glancing around. Can't be too many places a Vulcan would be, right?]
[ Action]
[ Not too many places at all. He walks right over the second he spots the familiar face, brows furrowed just slightly in a questioning expression. You just had to give the metaphors. Now the first thing Spock is saying to him instead of some sort of customary greeting is: ]
Why would I assume someone would be here to eat cake?
[ Action]
[Kirk draws up short, because it takes him a moment to remember that OH RIGHT this is the guy who tends to take things pretty literally.]
...Turn of phrase, don't pay any attention to it.
[The important thing is that Bison did NOT show up with his army of goons, and that's a good way to start things off.]
You hungry? I think we can find some place around here that has a salad bar.
[And coffee. Lots and lots of coffee, he's hoping.]
[ Action]
Very well. May I ask who you were referring to with that?
[ Seeing how it's someone Kirk felt the need to warn about. If that could even be called a warning. ]
Not exactly but I take it you might be. Lead the way.
[ Action]
[Well, technically he got the phaser when Kirk stunned him multiple times.]
Just try and avoid him if you can.
[He gives a nod at Spock's agreement and checks his map to find the nearest diner. So that's where they are at this awful hour in the morning, with Kirk chugging coffee as if he might infuse his blood with the stuff.]
I'm guessing you probably have more questions. Fire away.
[ Action]
[ He's watching him, not drinking or anything himself. ]
I am under the impression had you knew the answers to most of the questions I have come up with, they would have been voluntarily offered and would not have led to you bringing me to a diner.
Why are we here?
[Action]
[He smiles up at the waitress who gives him his coffee, who smiles back. He'd put his number on the bill, but he already did that. Five times. The city keeps resetting her memory of him, so he'll just have to be content with flirty service and leave a nice tip.]
[Kirk takes a sip, makes a satisfied sigh, then folds his arms on the table as he hunches forward confidentially.]
I think you and I need to figure out a way to disrupt the energy barriers around this city. I'm 99% sure they're the reason our comm badges can't get in touch with Starfleet, and why we can't get beamed out of this place.
[While the city hasn't been openly hostile to any of the residents thus far, it's not something he wants to discuss over the city-issued communication devices. Might as well broadcast his plan to the entire world.]
finally getting in to tag this! Hope I'm not too late to this party :D [Text]
I don't think you're going to get an answer on that.
:) [text]
[text (And action that I wasn't left enough room to write in last time XD)]
I guess so. So, which way are you going to go?

You should totally go towards Fayren. Beyond the forest in the archway lies a city which is where most of the new people gather and get the basic supplies cheaper then here in the main town. Preparation is key or something, right? [New people are fun y'all! (again, she's assuming he's going to just go as she thinks this.)]
