[The voice, brisk and business like, contained almost no hint at the venom he desperately wanted to inject in his words. Instead, it was evident in the cold, displeased gleam in his eyes that were just visible above the collar of his tracksuit.]

Not only are we whisked away without our express permission, there's water everywhere. That's sloppy craftmanship, if you ask me.

[Not that anyone really was. If they were in Honnouji, he would already be submitting a call to maintenance, because that sort of water coverage was simply not allowed anywhere near where high grade electronic equipment would be. Somebody would be feeling the consequences of this.

After a moment, he spoke up again-- this time, in a more detached tone.]

...I'm going to need a better coat.

[Have a very tired looking Gama scowling from what appeared to be his office back at the Academy.]

It's about time you showed up, Inumuta. Satsuki-sama is away on business at the moment, but your room has been prepared for you.

How efficient. I expected no less from you.

[He adjusted his glasses, eyeing the contents of the feed with curiosity. The paperwork he had received implied that they were in an entirely different world-- but, the background resembled Honnouji Academy a little too well.

Very curious. He would have to investigate this further.]

Besides Satsuki-sama and yourself, who else is here?

Um, hello.

[Luke is staring at you, and he's confused.]

Well, everyone starts in the Bay. It's not flooded, or anything--the building was made that way.

[Oh, look. It's a kid.

He can play nice on this one.]

It's still sloppy craftmanship. How on Earth do they keep their equipment from being damaged?

[It hurt him. Really, it did.]

I think the water is there for a reason... I just never understood what reason that might be.

[Chihiro appears on the screen, sitting in front of the device, his laptop sitting to the side of him for the time being.]

Hello. I will be right over soon to welcome you more in person.

[She pretty much does this more often than she realized. She would make sure to take something with her while she has a job she is suppose to do at the same time.]

I'm sure you can find a new coat on the way to the welcome center though.

From our world, only Jakuzure. Matoi was here for some time but she has apparently been sent back.

I'm going to assume that given your state of dress, you were sent here shortly after the Tri-City Raid Trip?

Those are indeed my most recent memories, [he replied, filing that bit of information away. It was good to know that they were merely one North Kanto Monkey away from having a full set, so to speak.] Don't tell me that it's different for the rest of you.

[Based on appearances alone, he couldn't tell how old this person was...or if they were even a boy or a girl. Regardless, the friendly reply is met with with something in kind.]

That may warrant some investigation later on-- it's not important right now.

[But, it certainly served it's purpose. He hated making introductions.]

[...Another child. How many were there in this place?]

There's no rush, [He said calmly, eyeing the girl on the other side of the screen.] I do have something. Gym clothes are just hardly anything that's decent.

[When Gama responds, he's already got his keys in his hand, and is careful to thumb the gold stars on his collar]

It is. There's a lot we need to talk about. Stay near the Bay. I will be by to pick you up shortly.

[Inumuta narrowed his eyes, already noting that there was definitely something dreadfully important that was being left unspoken.]

Very well. I eagerly await your arrival.

[It wasn't long before Gamagori pulled up in his giant pink Cadillac and motioned for Inumuta to get in. He was silent until he was in, and the car was moving again.]

...Satsuki-sama made her move against Ragyo at the Grand Sports and Culture Festival just after the Tri-City Raid...

[He paused, doing his best to keep control over the memories of that hectic day.]

...It was a massacre.

[The pink cadillac was an old fashioned classic-- always tasteful-- and didn't even give Inumuta reason for second thought. Neither did Gamagoori's silence, but that was hardly unusual.

--The news, however, was.

Inumuta's eyes widened briefly at Gamagoori's words before he regained his own sense of composure.]

How much did we lose?

[Because, he had no doubts of their survival. It would be impudent to ask. They weren't the Elite for nothing, and Satsuki-sama's shine and vitality would never die.]

[He was silent again, swallowing hard before speaking up.]

Everything. At first, it was all according to plan. Ragyo cocooned the students in life fibers, and we used the jamming rounds we acquired from the raid on Nudist Beach's headquarters to release them, and Satsuki-sama struck... she crucified Ragyo, and the four of us dealt with Harime.

However, we underestimated Ragyo... she broke free of the bonds and did... something that enslaved the very minds of the students, even briefly enslaving Matoi. Satsuki-sama was even able to behead Ragyo but that barely slowed her down... Harime kept the four of us from intervening as Ragyo... beat Satsuki-sama, and stripped her of Junketsu.

...what's more... [He shook his head, still trying to wrap his brain around everything.] You remember the story Satsuki told us? About how Ragyo used her little sister for experimenting on, and simply threw her away when the experiments killed her?

[He listened to the words silently as they drove along, only half paying attention to the streets that blew passed them as he focused on Gamagoori. That was a lot of unpleasant news to take in at once-- but, he knew that subtlty wasn't Gamagoori's game.

It was best to bare the wounds and fully disclose everything as quickly as possible.]

I do, [he replied, the depths of his distaste for the gaudy, arrogant woman who dared to refer to herself as Satsuki's mother dripping in his tone.]

...The experiments didn't kill Satsuki-sama's sister. Matoi is Satsuki's sister. Just before Satsuki detonated a bomb in the courtyard, I saw it myself. Ragyo had ripped Matoi's heart out of her chest, but because of the Life Fibers in her body, she was able to heal... just like how Ragyo was able to reattach her head.

...After the bomb went off, the parts of Nudist Beach Matoi had made contact with got the four of us and Matoi to safety, but none of them were able to get to Satsuki. That's the last I remember, though.

[For once, Inumuta was well and truly at a loss for words. He stared at Gamagoori briefly, already searching for a way to make this new data fit in with the collective whole. It was impossible by all standards...yet, somehow...

Matoi was always the epitome of improbable.]

This is a lot to think about, [he admitted after a moment, leaning back against the seat and hunkering down inside his collar, his brows furrowed in what must have been a deep frown.] But, I don't doubt you.

...heh. I can't believe we end up getting saved by those naked idiots.

[She gives a small nod for a moment.]

So you have something, but I'm not sure that will keep you warm though. I mean it's still technically winter so a nice warm coat will always help.

There are there important things, yes. Though is it okay to ask if you have questions? Usually new arrivals do.

[He looks at his laptop briefly for a moment. He had to check that something he was working on was still running or not.]

[He grits his teeth, his hands threatening to crush the steering wheel as he gripped it.]

And to think we had to leave Satsuki-sama behind with that... monster...

[ Heyo Houka have a half robotic half organic dude replying to you through the video feed. It's easy to tell that his left eye is abnormal based on how it flickers and glows from time to time, like he's scanning his surroundings, while they talk. He coughs a few times off screen before replying though. ]

I assume you've got the gist of things from Weiss' hologram then. [ Awkward pause before he continues. ]

Do you want some help?

[The very thought of it left a bad taste in his mouth. The fact very plan they had dedicated their very souls to for years could fall apart so easily burned him to no end, and the fact that they couldn't rescue the woman they had followed into that hell only rubbed salt deep into that wound.

Still...]

This is Satsuki-sama we're talking about. I don't doubt that she's alive-- she's too strong, and too crucial in the grand scheme for that...

['Bitch', he wanted to say. He had never liked Ragyo Kiryuin in the few times that they had met, and he knew that he wouldn't have even if he had never met Satsuki. That woman was filthier than dirt, and it showed despite her radiance.

Perhaps, it was the sheer power of that radiance that had blinded the world of her true motives.

He shook his head. Moving on.]

...Does Satsuki-sama know about this?

I've got the general idea from the information that they've already provided, [he explained easily, taking no offense at all to the brief distraction. As a black hat hacker, programmer, and economics nut, he knew that feeling all too well.]

This simply leaves the problem of finding lodging and essentials. Among other things.

Yes. A warm coat is always a good place to start.

[Especially if it was winter-- and probably far into the season too, judging by her words.]

A point in the right direction for getting supplies would also be appreciated. There's a map here, but that doesn't tell you where the good places to go are.
