Well, I guess the good things couldn't last forever, huh. I'm pretty sure I've taken a lot of sick days so my job at the library is kind of...well, no longer there.

I'm not sure what else to do but I guess there's always the job listings. Something to keep myself in shape and on my toes.

Hm. I haven't been able to keep my mind at east lately. I'm glad I'm out of the hospital because that machine was getting annoying.

Weiss...mentioned something about the past that made me feel odd. I remember nothing of this White Fang or whoever was associated with it but- it sounded bad.

Does...anyone know something to help diminish the appearance of scars on skin?

[Sadly throughout the video she's not really focusing her eyes on one thing. More so just staring off before catching herself, shaking her head.]

There's neosporin and some gels that are supposed to help. You could probably use concealer too if it bothers you...

Uh, sometimes the gels come in different scents, so you can choose one you like! But-- you probably want something faster and I don't know you but hope you feel better! You're too beautiful to stay hurt.

Why is it strange to notice a goddess? I would've sworn guys would shower you with attention. I guess the full responsibility falls to me, but I can promise you, you won't be disappointed.

[Gives a nod.] It's something people from my world posses. It's sort of like a shield around you to keep you safe guarded

[Her words trickle off quietly as she blinks again and looks behind her to see if he might be talking to someone else. Only one person called her a Goddess and that was Weiss when suddenly every cat in their area followed Blake home.

And now he's blushing? She can't help but have one of her own while raising her hands.] You uh, you really don't have to do that. Thank you, of course. I've never been called a Goddess in any serious manner.

[Nods, it sounds like a magic barrier.] Does it block all damage, or reduce it by half? It must not last if you have to wait for it to come back. How many turns--how long does it normally last per...per person.

[And he probably sounds like a huge nerd so he's going to cover his face and pretend he doesn't know what she's talking about.]

I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it. You know, they say you can't look in the eyes of a Goddess. They must have been blinded by your otherworldly beauty before they could notice. [He smirks. And cries on the inside.]

[Tilts her head curiously.] Are you that interested?

If it keeps getting damage done to it, we can get in to the redzone which is rather dangerous. That's something we avoid all together, or at least try to.

It builds up but it sometimes takes a while for our Auras to get back to 100%.

[There's a bit of a blush but she scoffs, all in good nature but soon realizes yeah, no. No one would think this way about her or say such things. Shakes her head and smirks.] You don't have to lie or be a prince charming, you know. You could just be prince sincere.

[Stares curiously for a moment before she nods.]

Mm, I do. I'm not too keen on dogs though... They seem to enjoy chasing me or barking.

Oh, it won't be just dogs.

[ she doesn't ask why they enjoy chasing or barking at her -- some people simply weren't into dogs. katherine had started out a dog lover, but after spending time as an actual cat, it had taken her a while to warm back up to them. ]

I was looking into starting an animal shelter, something that would take in stray animals or pets that are left behind by those who depart from this place, and try to find them proper homes. I just didn't want to go into it without knowing whether I'd be captaining the ship all by myself, so to speak.

[Well, dogs aside,it would be nice to help all the cats she's had following her since she and Weiss went for a walk near the alley ways.

She brightens up a bit at the notion and gives a nod.] I'd love to help with that. I did notice there were a bit of strays wandering about and the poor things look like they could use somewhere warm to stay.

And I have an office in Fayren. I rent it from an elderly woman that runs an Apothecary Shop next to it. I know she has screams and salves that could probably do that.

Sounds rather accurate. What kind of monsters have you had to face? Different from Grimm or-?

I'll try to get in contact with her then. Someone else mentioned some herbal lotions and what not as well. I don't think it'll be 100% gone but- faded I can live with.

Different than Grimm. Like these giant lizards that are about the size of cows, dragons, griffin, golems. Just a lot of different kinds of things. Most of them weren't part of my job, though, and I just encountered them.

I doubt it either unless you know someone that has that kind of healing power. Just tell her you're my girlfriend, and she'll treat you like family. She knows about you, minus the..you know. [Ears.]

Still, he empathizes with her in several ways - and if she's one of Weiss' friends, it's probably better he gets to know her sooner rather than later.]

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you - and that you lost your job. As far as a position to keep yourself in shape... there's always the security positions, or becoming a combat instructor at Second Honnouji Academy, if those are things you're interested in.

Machine? [Because although he's been to a dozen different world from times past, present, and future, he's never been inside a modern hospital.]

I th-think there are supposed to be ointments that help with that, at the v-very least. [Then he looks down, uncertain and a little embarrassed.] If you find something b-better... would you mind letting m-me know?

[Casts a glance towards her camera, a little taken off guard by Weiss needing an assistant. But, then again she does seem to have missed a lot in her time in the hospital.]

Perhaps. As much as I want to keep shape now I don't- want to really venture far from friends or- safe places. At least until I know about the oddities of elements brought here from other worlds.

[Rubs her forehead and sighs quietly.] Yeah, I guess you're from a world that doesn't have them, hm?

I'll be sure to.I've heard cocoa butter helps but..it's a pretty deep scar. I can only hope it might help.

[Armin nods slowly.] I understand. I'm afraid I don't really know this place enough yet to know where's safe...

[He looks uncertain for a moment, but quickly seems to come to some decision - and carefully locks the video before continuing.] It's fine if not, but if you ever n-need to talk about it... I d-died too, just before coming here. [He slowly unwinds the scarf around his neck, revealing the faded but still visible hand-shaped bruises there. He has a gentle but vulnerable look about him - except for his closest friends, he hasn't shared this with anyone yet.

And then the conversation moves on, though it feels a little strange - he's gotten used to wearing his scarf all the time.] No. I've been to different worlds, but... I g-guess I haven't been to an infirmary since my own.

Thanks. And I hope so. Until recently, I didn't even know there were things that could help with scars... [When fighting the titans, the options are usually 'manage to stay safe' and 'die horribly', without a lot of middle ground. Scars weren't a very big issue, though he has a lot of them now.]

You should have a look around sometimes. Especially Tokyo, even if it might be sensory overload, there's a lot of neat and new things around. Somewhere quieter? There's a great library I spend most nights. Seems filled with books of all different worlds.

[Gives a small nod. With their Auras they don't really have to worry about some scars but...] Physical scars at least... Emotional ones take a little more to heal.

Yeah, I... guess I haven't been out much, since arriving here. I've been keeping pretty close to my friends. [He looks kind of embarrassed.] The one time I did go out to explore, I got caught in that labyrinth...

[The mention of a library gets him to perk up, though.] I'd... like to see that library. I've always loved reading, but... most books back in my world were illegal. And those that weren't were too expensive, usually.

[When she mentions emotional scars, Armin looks down and simply nods - but his expression leaves no doubt that he knows what she's talking about.]
