[Guess who finally has a place to call home? For now, at least, Zoisite isn't the least bit impressed with the tiny, dingy place he could afford and plans to ditch it for prettier pastures once he has enough money. "Garbage Bin" is a well-deserved nickname!

At least he was able to find a job quickly enough, though. A job with decent pay, but still not enough to keep him out of the garbage bin for at least a few months. Plus, it's not like he'll be able to save for a better place right away, he's still got to eat and he needs something else to wear besides his Dark Kingdom uniform.

Too bad I never took up disguises the way Jadeite always did. That would have come in handy right now. Back home he'd felt confident enough to accost the Sailor Guardians and his targets in broad daylight in full uniform, but...something about this place makes him want to look different.

At least while he tries to figure out a better plan to trap the Guardians and take back the last two Rainbow Crystals without anymore interferences.]

It's come to this. I'm bargain-hunting like a commoner, how bothersome.

As a matter of fact, I'm a gardener at Attleton Home and Gardens. [looks quite pleased with himself. Gardening is one of his major passions outside of Kunzite. And attacking people.]

I always have. They're very calming to be around, and they don't ask anything of you except a little water, some light and some pruning now and then.

Well, I'll be here for a while, so I might as well. Sitting around being angry isn't going to get me anywhere. [And it won't get him those Rainbow Crystals, either.]

[This probably wasn't the 'Guardian' you had in mind, but the Attleton City Guardian was walking around nearby. With the issues in his own town, he had finally managed to get out long enough to buy essential supplies. He would head back into the maze soon enough, but at least he'd found a path out.

It was on his way back through the shops that he noticed Zoisite. He certainly looked fed up. A newcomer, perhaps?]

Aha, a worthy choice, to be certain. We always need more people with some taste and an appreciation for the gardens over here. Really, you would not believe how few here understand the need for the beauty such things bring.

I've always had an affinity for gardening. I can't quite explain it, but I'm never satisfied unless I can be near some sort of vegetation.

Any particular sort, or plants in general? I must say I have a preference for roses, myself. They are perfectly bright and graceful, at the same time.

[Sometimes when Zoisite thinks of roses, he thinks of the cursed red ones that mark up his hands, the ones thrown by his most hated enemy. But right now he's thinking of a soft pink, one conjured from thin air by the person he cherishes...a sort of dreamy look crosses his face for a moment.]

Yes, roses...are quite nice to look at. My favorites have always been cherry blossoms, though. So short-lived, but so pleasing to the eye...

[Oh, he noticed that look, and Midboss smiled softly. Young love.]

Oh yes, cherry blossoms are certainly beautiful. It's a shame they're not more abundant back home in the Netherworld.

Netherworld? Is that anything like [pause] my own home? [His powers can summon the petals at will, and he's been to Tokyo enough to see the trees bloom, but...]

That depends.

[He tucked his hair behind one pointed ear. That and his blood-red eyes should give enough of a hint, even without his wings.]

I am a Demon. The Netherworld is where demons hail from, but truth be told their are many Netherworlds, all slightly different from one another.

What was your homeworld like, if I may ask?

[Aha. He knew there was something not quite human about this person. Zoisite himself is only mostly human, but has no physical indications that he's...enhanced, only his powers.]

I come from the Dark Kingdom. It's exactly what it sounds like, though I was able to grow plants there. Magic can be just as effective as sunlight, after all.

The Dark Kingdom, eh...? Sounds an appealing place, especially if you can still grow flowers and such. I try to do the same in my Netherworld.

[As it was, Midboss was not sure whether Zoisite was human or not - but the Dark Kingdom did not sound like a world humans would hail from.]

So how long have you been in Genessia for?

It's not the best, it's a bit dark and dreary for my tastes, but it's my home. So I've grown to love it.

About two months now. It's...not as horrid as I thought it would be.

Mm, home always does have a special place, I suppose.

That is good to hear. This place is...strange, but not a horrible one, for the most part.

It's taken some getting used to. A bit too bright and open, not like the darkness I've come to know and love, but at least I have a home now. [A crappy home he plans to ditch as soon as he earns enough money for a better one.]

[Colette overhears Zoisite (though she hadn't meant to--angelic hearing just cases these things to happen) and looks over to him.]

[He turns around, kinda side-eyeing the girl who just spoke to him. For some reason she seems kind of familiar.]

It should be. Normally it would be. However, it's a bit of a downer when I remember what I have to go home to. [If he were buying these things for his and Kunzite's castle back home, he would be having a ball.]

You're right, it is none of your business. [Not that his job's something to be ashamed of. Actually, he's proud of it. But if she's going to act like she's done something wrong by asking a question, he might as well treat it as such.] And I'd better be. I'm sure I hear rats in the walls, and it stinks of mold.
