[Click. On goes the video and here goes Eighteen talking. She appears to be outside... somewhere. A balcony maybe? There's just enough background behind her to see the sliding doors anyhow.]

I'm looking for someone - or a group, if you like - interested in seeing to these 'bounties' in the newspaper. Preferably on something of a long term basis.

[So someone else is interested in taking up bounty hunting, eh? Izumi feels she found some competition, but she didn't make that big of a deal about it. The bounties in the newspaper, so it's only normal to have others going for it too.]

I recently completed a bounty hunt for a reasonable sum. If you are looking for an ally, I'm willing to negotiate how we share the money.

[She's filthy rich back home, but in here she could use the money. Especially since she hasn't found a job yet]

[The idea of allies at one time was enough to make her laugh. The notion of discussing how to share money would have been too. Now though...]

I would think fifty-fifty would be the only way to share, wouldn't you?

[She has no desire to intimidate those she's actively seeking to do bounties with into anything less.]

Yes, only if both parties did equal work.

[She didn't mean that in the way meaning the other person could benefit by doing no work while the other does, but rather if one is too powerful and the other couldn't keep up, it still wouldn't be fair to share half of the earnings]

[Oh ho? That makes Eighteen quirk into a smirk.]

That is a fact I take pride in.

[Izumi declared. She wouldn't be like that if it wasn't for her family upbringing. But remembering her family and how her siblings probably don't trust her anymore just put her in a somber mood. Not that she'd let it show through her voice. Now she just wants to cut to the chase]

However, I'm mostly just interested in bounties relating to spirits.

I used to hunt creatures we call Youmu. They are more monsters than ghosts, but they are what the masses would regard as "supernatural".

[It's not much, but it's a start...]

[And to her credit, Eighteen does listen as the other speaks. She hums a bit once she's done.]

If we're talking monsters, I have experience there too. Well, except ours was just ugly and stupid.

[She didn't care for Cell, okay.]

You'll be surprised to see how many youmu fit that description as well.

[She doesn't care for all youmu either. To her they're all just monsters, even if she hides one in her. But 18 doesn't know that]

You seem experienced enough, but I'd wish to see your skills for myself. Have you been through the Fayren gate?

Haven't bothered to look at any of the gates yet.

Any qualifications you're looking for?

Hold your own in a fight for one. I'm not babysitting.

That's it? That sounds pretty easy.

Hunting typically isn't that complicated. You know your target, you go for it. Easy.

No fun speeches about teamwork and bonding?

I don't do motivational speeches. If people need to be motivated, they need to get out of my way.

[Or be her husband and have some weirdly special motivation privilege. Not that Eighteen's style of motivation is one most people want.]

I'll think about it then. How big of a group are you looking for? My partner's here.

Not too big if I can help it. I don't mind working for multiple groups but the last thing I need is a group getting too big and idiots managing to join up.

It'd just be the two of us. I'll talk to him about it. We're both good in a fight.

Let me know then. I'll probably bring my husband with me, if I can get him back in fighting shape.

No. He's simply a competent enough fighter to bring along with me.

You're counting me in on that group, right hon? I'd been thinking of either taking care of some of those bounties, or hitting up the Colosseum.

I wasn't exactly planning on letting you off the hook, no.

I've been there once. It seems like the power gap between us and most people here is like... well, the gap between me and Goku.

...kinda weird feeling really...

Sounds dull. And like easy money.

[No seriously if there's that much of a gap, it's not like anyone could stand up to either of them.]

Heh, I wouldn't say dull really. Easy, yeah if we didn't hold back. Heck from what I gathered, people here have never even heard of ki, and the one time I used a Kamehameha, it kinda caught everyone off guard.

[He grins running a hand through his hair.]

But at least nobody really gets hurt there. Apparently, even if someone blows up in the Colosseum, they wake up a minute later in the hospital.

[Which is a nice change of pace for someone who has a relatively long respawn time normally.]
