LOG - shared memory
WHO: Zoisite and anyone
WHAT: Zoisite's memory
WHERE: The Bay, Nova City
WHEN: March 31st
WARNINGS: Mild violence
He'd had him! He'd had Tuxedo Mask within his grasp, he was almost history but then-out of nowhere, that beam slicing across his hand! And his prey, gone!
"We may have a problem, Kunzite..." The look on his mentor's face was not a pleased one, Zoisite's heart sinking as he gave the bad news. I had him, I let him get away and he still has the Rainbow Crystals!
"You had one job to do, and you let him escape?" He flinched, almost like a puppy that had been kicked. Disappointing Kunzite was a fate on par with death, he felt like an idiot for being so careless. A mumbled apology, then a quick grab for what remained of his confidence.
"We can still get him! As long as the Sailor Guardians remain trapped in the dome!"
And that was their second wind. Victory was close, the Guardians struggling and whimpering in pain, Tuxedo Mask finally showing his pathetic face, about to hand over the Rainbow Crystals-
"CRESCENT BEAM!"
That voice! Before either of them could react, the beam sliced across Kunzite's hands, no!! Zoisite cried out, more horrified that his lover was hurt than at the sight of the dome shattering, the Guardians gasping for breath. With a snarl, he pushed himself in front of Kunzite. He'd make those little pests pay for this, you hurt him, nobody hurts Kunzite and lives to tell about it! Nobody!
"Zoisite! Kunzite! Return to me at once!"
Queen Beryl. She sounded angry, demanding, refusing to explain. Defeated, he and Kunzite teleported back to the Dark Kingdom.
We almost had him. We almost had them!
---
The memory fades, leaving a humiliated and angry Zoisite. He'd done his best to forget those feelings while he was here, focusing on a new and better plan, but seeing it unfold before him all over again opened those wounds. He's shaking with anger, anyone who walks by is free to voice concern, mock him or tell him he deserved it.

Probably the last person one wants to see.
What she hadn't expected was to see them here as she arrived. She wasn't at full power since she lost her belt, but never the less, she felt confident enough to step forward.
"Someone looks a little angry." She glanced over towards the water, seeing the sparkles that rest within it. That was most certainly odd. Something that she wanted to get a closer look at, but right now wasn't the right time.
Re: Probably the last person one wants to see.
How nice of you to come to me, Sailor Venus. If you're looking for another fight, be prepared to lose this time.

You honestly thing a girl as beautiful as I would lose? I very much doubt it. But if you want a butt whooping, I'll be more than happy to help.

[She had a lot of experience having to deal with thing alone, she knew how to handle herself and she was quickly to take a stance. She could only use one attack right now, but it was good enough in her mind.]
Unless you want to cause a fuss however and bring people to you, then by all means. But I would rather not bring people here.

Considering just talking won't stop you from possibly attacking me, we'll just see if it really was luck or if I have the skills, which we know for a fact to be a thing.
[And she is already preparing for her attack, shame she doesn't have her belt though. Sometimes she misses that thing.]

[Yes by now it's clear she has no idea what you are on about.]
Never heard of them. I assume they are crystals that are the colours of the rainbow.

I think you need your ears cleaned or something if you didn't hear. I wish I knew what they were, but I don't actually have a clue. I guess they are powerful never the less.

No, I think I understand why I'm not understand anything you say. While you are Zoisite and I am of course the beautiful Sailor Venus, we are from different versions of the same world.
[She soon runs fingers through her hair as she wonders how she will explain this, or even if she wanted to honestly.]
no subject
Hmph. I suppose this means I need to let you go. [He can just hear Kunzite's disappointed scolding, see him shaking his head. He clenches his fist, looking away to hide even the threat of tears.] Leave. Be grateful I'm letting you keep your life!

Well, I think you should be glad, not me. If I managed to beat a different version of you once without even trying, I can pretty much do it again.

[She is just going to ignore you while she jumped into the water and waded a bit further away before she would even think of starting her little job.]
