[This was Hori's first video on the network after being here for a few weeks or so. After he arrived it was one thing after another and getting used to living in this place. Now it was finally time to move on with things and tackle the important things.]

I've been in this place for a few weeks now. I've pretty much started to settle down, but I still haven't found myself a job. So I was thinking of asking around a bit.

[He feels a bit bad for living for basically free, so it was about time he started earning his share.]

I have most experience in making props for stage. Especially painting backgrounds and such. I was in the theater club at high school before coming here. So I was thinking about getting a job related to that since I'm most comfortable with it.

[Acting might also be a good option, but acting was such an unstable job if you wanted to make sure you money regularly.]

I would really appreciate any suggestions and information for jobs.

There's a bulletin board with job postings. You can do work by commission to, I do it by modeling.

Uhh, it's... [There isn't one. He went and blurted things out to try and help Hori because his mun forgot. He buries his face in his hands, mumbling.]

I meant there's the center and newspaper...

I can show you where the center is!

[Somehow, Hori will never get used to how easily embarrassed this guy gets.]

That would be helpful, if it's not too much of a trouble. I mean, I got the address to the center from Mayu, but I'm still a bit lost here...

[She pauses, tilting her head before speaking.]

Well, I work at the hospital. They taught me how to collect and process specimens and stuff. It's gross, but it pays pretty well.

And then I act on a corner! It's fun, senpai! Your acting is amazing--I'm sure people here would love it!

There's actually a theater too, but I haven't seen any shows performed there. I think I've seen signs for auditions, though.

[That's a job he hadn't expected. An actually proper job and not something like a Host Club attendant.]

How did you end up with a job like that in the first place?

[Acting, huh? Well, his heart still yearns to do that. Maybe not as an only job, but sometimes...]

I wonder if they need anyone to help them with props and such as well.

Mayu-kun is in middle school. I can't expect him to pay the bills all by himself. I wanted to find a job that would help make enough money to help pay for rent.

[A pause, thinking.] We've got to look into getting a house or another apartment. The landlord has been complaining that our apartment's full, and it's a fire hazard...or something like that.

[She notices the flicker of interest at the idea of acting, and if she could she'd fling herself at him in a hug at the prospect of him even considering acting again. Instead, she'll just beam.] Senpai, you should come act with me on the corner! It's fun!

Well, yeah, that's why I'm trying to look for job. Both for the rent and finding a new place.

[It's amazing though, how well high school kids like them could adapt to finding a job and trying to manage their own apartment. Then again, Nozaki had been like that for a while.

At the mention of acting, Hori thinks for a while. To be honest, he did want to act, even if he did enjoy being on the backstage...]

First I should visit the theater and see what happens after.

If they had a club here, you'd do good as a bouncer.

I could check out the theater, but keep other jobs in mind as well.

[A bouncer? Well, he does... handle Kashima pretty well, that's true.]

I'd at least be able to keep Kashima out, when needed, haha...

Someone should probably keep an eye on both Kashima and Mikoshiba here...

That's a good plan. Who knows, I might end up with two jobs if they match well.

You know me, I'll help out with the other one. Mikoshiba seems to be a bit nervous around me, though...

I believe there might be a place that would suit that type of thing. I mean people might have mentioned it already by now.

Do you mean the theater? People have been mentioning it, but I was thinking of keeping more than one place in mind - just in case.

[He at least had something he could do and be hapy about at least, that was all that mattered.]

My own place, hmm? I'm not sure I have any ideas for my own business, but I guess that's also a choice.

Acting, huh? Well, I haven't ruled that out as a occasional side thing.

I hadn't thought of that. I do have some experience of that so it's definitely something to consider.

I haven't really gotten too far into my profession, but I've started to try acting here as well. Although, I'm still looking for a play or something to do. You could probably look into the theater.

It would be nice if we'd have a play to work on. I was thinking about applying to be a stage manager at the theater, so I would love to help with one.
