[This was a situation Blaze really had no experience with. Not that anyone would- he couldn't imagine there would be anyone out there that would have any experience with the idea of waking up in a weird pod with a pamphlet claiming you're in another world. Waking up in another world aside, Blaze had just gotten out of the Circum-Pacific War, so to say he was tense was putting it lightly. As far as he knew, this was some Belkan trick that they were keeping up their sleeve. He couldn't be sure that the Gray Men weren't involved. But what he was sure of was that, while Belka was easily far more technologically advanced than the rest of the world, there's no way they were advanced enough for flying cars.
There were several thoughts on his mind as he wandered through the city soaking wet. Like why did he have to swim past a bunch of happy robots to get to shore, for one. What was the construction one mentioned? Was he hallucinating? But most importantly, where were his wingmen? Were Nagase, Grimm and Snow in the same boat as he was, but elsewhere? Was Blaze himself the only high value target in this so was he the only one effected?
He shook his head. If his wingmen were around, they could take care of themselves easily. In the meantime, Blaze flipped through the pamphlet again; luckily putting the items he got in his flightsuit pocket prevented them from getting soaked while swimming to shore. Right now he probably looks like a lost tourist more than anything while he tries to get a grasp on the information the pamphlet gave him. Not that he was willing to put on that necklace or turn on the videophone yet, he still had the concern that this was some kind of crazy trap. It's too early for him to assume that the Belkans are going to behave themselves. So instead, he'll just mutter while he walks.]

"Who's there? And just what is this 'Genessia' place?"
no subject
"Hey. How ya doin'? I'm called BJ," Betelgeuse told him. "Genessia is...I don't know. A world and this city. No one knows a lot about it."

Blaze took a few steps back, the man's sudden appearance taking him by surprise. He wasn't easily startled, but that was enough to get a reaction even out of him. That guy's appearance didn't really help matters.
"How did you-" He cut himself off. That was just one hell of a magic trick. Who'd have thought the circus was in town? "And I don't suppose you know a way out of here? I have a team I need to keep close to."
no subject
"Magic," Betelgeuse answered anyway. "Nah. Seems the only way to leave is if the place itself decides to send you back. That doesn't happen much though, know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, I hear ya. We all got places to go, people to do, yadda yadda. What kinda team you got? Baseball?"
no subject
"Military squad, actually. It's imperative that I get back to them, but I guess it's not going to be that easy." Not that he liked saying that, but it seemed like it would have to be something he'd have to adjust to quick. "And I'm sure there's no high official in this place I can talk to, is there?"

"That doesn't give me a whole lot of confidence in the safety of this place. What kind of 'weird' things happen?"

[A strange woman with a calm expression and wearing the same necklace approached the very confused Blaze, but at least she looks human. Izumi just got out of the G-Corporation building and went to give this new Bay a visit until she saw the newcomer. In need of potential allies, she figured it wont hurt to help the stranger out. It was only nice to do so. She's only been outside of this one, since she was more focused on the old location of the Bay in Genessia City]
Normally you would have woken up to a less confusing city. [Izumi turned around to get out of the huge crowd of pedestrians they're in] Follow me, or you will get lost in this crowd. I'll answer whatever questions you have.

I'm not sure I like the idea of following someone I just met in an unfamiliar setting. Who are you?
[Yeah, getting some kind of introduction past before following a mysterious woman seemed like a better plan than automatically following her. Hopefully he'd actually get more information out of her name wise than the Yuktobanian 'Major' he'd met in the past month at home.]

[Izumi paused to turn around halfway and look at Blaze straight in the eyes.]
Like you I was brought here against my will by unknown forces. I haven't been here long, however I know enough about the cities to be of assistance.
no subject
Do you have any idea why we've been brought here?
[He likely knew the answer already, but he had to ask anyway. With hesitation, he took a few steps closer to her. He did need answers, so he'd might as well take his chances.]
And there are four other cities like this place?
no subject
[Izumi walked on forward, unfazed by the alien pedestrians bumping shoulder to shoulder with each other.]
Did you see a video of a girl in white outside the Bay? I suppose it isn't there since the Bay was originally at Genessia City - the main city of this world. It isn't like this one, and the others are different from each other as well. Nova City is the only place with flying cars, for example.

[Blaze was giving uneasy glances towards the passing aliens. Were they even aliens? They could have been people in costume for all he knew.]
I'm almost glad to hear this place isn't the norm. I'm used to aircraft, but not flying cars.
no subject
[So this move could just be temporary... Interesting. Izumi stopped at a sidewalk where the crowds are less suffocating. She waited for Blaze to keep up with her]
But that girl in white, she is in charge of a welcoming company that helps newcomers find employment and housing. I could lead you to their office, but you must first wear that necklace or you will not be able to travel from city to city.

So we'll be stuck here for a while if we have to worry about daily necessities. [He looked incredibly displeased. And more concerned than he did before. He had wingmen to worry about, dammit, and who knows if the SOLG was the last thing the Belkans had up their sleeve.]
How long have you been here?
no subject
[And as much as she wants to avoid her younger siblings out of shame right now, she'd pick going home over staying here]
no subject
[Disbelief was written all over his face, but he knew full well that with what little information he has right now, doubting her could prove to be a mistake. He needed all the help he could get right now. He had so many questions in his mind, but he'd still need to figure some things out on his own.]
And I'm sure it's safe to assume all of us are brought to this place alone and not with anyone familiar to us.
I can't brain tags orz
[Izumi kept walking, taking to the sidewalks and keeping right as she leads Blaze to the subarchway leading to the main city]
no subject
Where are we going, exactly?
[Initial guess would be Genessia City, but she did say there were multiple cities. Either way, he was eager to get out of the weird one with the flying cars.]
