Who: The entire AoT/SnK cast & Sansa Stark
What: After holding a meeting and saving up for it, It's finally time to move forward with their plans to get a bigger place. Unfortunately that means a lot of work to be put into it as well.
When: April 15th
Where: Nova City
Style: 1st person~

[For Mikasa, she'd been saving for a long period of time by now to get a bigger place and while they could have just maybe gotten a house or two.. Or a few apartments, she knew that she -- and a few of the others -- preferred to all stick together. Sure the mansion they found could house them all and it would take a lot of work to fix it up, Armin and Mikasa had scoped it out before actually going to get it. It needed a lot of work, but with how many of them were there, they could manage it. The condition of the mansion wasn't all that bad when you thought about what could be wrong with it, but it was enough to clearly show it had been run down and forgotten for a while.

They had some help with getting the furniture and the rest of the stuff here, but for the time being they'd have to stay within a few rooms at the moment. It couldn't have been that much worse than how small the apartment quickly became though.]

Okay. It looks like we've got a lot of work to do, but soon it'll be home sweet home. At least.. for here.

[Unpacking general stuff, putting things away, picking rooms, ect. ect.]

[Time to come together and fix things up.]

[And after some work, they need to relax and make something to eat, at least. Also a mingling thread, if you will.]

[Winding down for the night and anything else.]

[Mikasa was busy bringing things in and then trying to get things they'd need out. Some of the smaller things would have to wait, but things like groceries in the kitchen and other stuff of the sort has taken priority. Thankfully, despite being an older run down mansion, the kitchen was still in tact and working just fine, along with a few of the other rooms like bathrooms.

She figured the others could pick where they'd like their rooms, even if they wouldn't do much to the room for the time being. She could always pick her room later, but since this was a mansion, she was going to find a room with a bathroom since she'd chipped in a lot of her own money.]

[It was funny to think that back home the driving force to keeping things clean was always Levi, and yet here she's sort of taken that role when he was gone. Of course, when it was just her and Eren, she did her best to keep the apartment tidy. That sort of just followed when everyone else came, with the exception that everyone else did their part. Mostly because she had been the one paying the rent exclusively in the first place until the others came.

Now it was a combination of their pays to afford this place, but she still hoped people would keep up on that. Of course, having Levi here would help keep it that way too. Once she'd unpacked and brought in the more important things, she rolled up her sleeves as she looked around.

This place wasn't terribly run down, but it was still run down nonetheless. They'd need to do a lot of work.]

Okay, here's my plan. We should tackle these rooms one by one. All together, we can finish a room quicker and go off to the next one. We won't be able to start on too many rooms right away, but we should definitely fix up the kitchen, a bathroom, and a place for us to stay in for the time being until we can fix up more rooms. The entry room wouldn't be bad to fix up too, but I suppose that could probably wait for now.

[And after a while, Mikasa was tired with all of the work they'd done today. It wasn't such a bad idea to make something to eat. She thought about asking if everyone just wanted to grab a bite to eat elsewhere, but with their funds going into buying this place, she figured everyone's pockets would be a bit tight for a while.]

Well, I'm hungry. I suppose we can't get something to eat so... What would everyone like? I can try to make us something.

[They had to get a room or two to fit the beds, but they managed to make it work out. It was a tight fit with all of them in the room, but it would have to do for now. She couldn't speak for the others, but Mikasa was pooped. And then she was reminded of the fact that again, Sansa would probably sleep with Armin and she didn't want to intrude.

They'd at least managed to bring in the couch and the armchair for a make shift living room. She could just sleep on the couch for now. So getting a blanket and a pillow after changing into pajamas, she went to lay down on the couch. It wasn't the most comfortable place, but it was better than the floor.]

[ Hey Mikasa, think you're gonna chill on the couch alone?

Think again!

Sasha comes bustling into the room with her own bundle of bedding, throwing it down onto the floor beside the couch, a wide grin on her face. ]

Slumber Party!

[And just when she thought she was starting to fall asleep, she hears that thunk and then Sasha. Glancing down from the couch, she gave her a slightly surprised look, but she doesn't really mind.]

You really don't have to keep me company you know.

[But she isn't rejecting it either.]

[After they had started working, Levi and Petra had decided to go to the upper floors to check what things looked like there. One of the reasons was to see what kind of bedrooms the mansion held, but it was also to see how much work they have to do after they get the first floor done.

The floor was really unsteady there. Luckily, Levi was able to save Petra from falling as they walked there. After looking around they decided it might be safer to leave this for later and take their gears with them next time they come and started heading back for the stairs.

Well, unfortunately, even if Levi was cautious of the floor and tried to walk there carefully, he managed to step into one of the dangerously damaged spots on the floor and started falling towards the first floor. His initial reaction was "Well, shit". No use in panicking over what already happened, to be honest. Petra did the panicking for him with a loud scream.

After Petra's scream a loud crashing sound could be heard from one of the rooms in the first floor.]

[She tries to reach for him. Too late, though she's sure he would just order her to stay still if she had enough time to move. Funny how that still works even now when they're lovers.

Levi falls. She screams. Not a reaction she's proud of but who the fuck thinks about pride right now? Why this?

SHE KIND OF ALMOST RUSHES THERE TO JUMP AFTER HIM! Stupid girl.

No but instead she's rushing back to the first floor and right where he is, not stopping anytime sooner than right in front of him. Okay, no time to panic. This is not time to freak out but she's kind of freaking the fuck out right now?!?]

Levi, are you okay?!

[Maybe it's a stupid question and she doesn't even dare to touch him yet. Levi has to be okay and alive and well if anyone asks her. PEOPLE SURVIVE WORSE FALLS THAN THAT, RIGHT?! What the hell is she supposed to even do right now though?

Just... please please please please p l e a s e tell her you're okay...]

[Levi's just lying there when Petra comes over, but he's very much awake. It's just a matter of feeling if he's actually broken anything, but it's hard to tell. It does hurt from a few places... mostly his back, obviously.

Though he doesn't stay like that for too long and gets up to sit down. Not his fastest record of getting up, definitely.]

I'm fine.

[ INTERNAL SCREAMING when he sits up. ]

You really shouldn't move right now!

[Watch out, Levi, she just migt start being super bossy even at you if you continue that. Since now she could, when there's no military titles anymore and everything's better here.]

Really? There's some way to make sure, right?

[taking him to a doctor or nurse for a check-up is one option...]

[Kind of predicted that reaction, but it's not like he can just stay like that forever so he'd rather get yelled than just stay down.

He also predicted the next thing Petra said.]

If I can move, I should be fine... but there's someone I can contact if you're that worried.

[He could just stay down there, it's not like anyone would be surprised if he did that!! Not that she's surprised when he sits up, just because this is Levi and she figures he wouldn't stay there if he feels like he's fine.]

Even if you can move, there might be something serious going on but it's just not showing yet! [Wait, what? Those words seem to calm her down a bit.] ...Yeah, you should contact that person.

[By the second night, they've managed to clear out a few bedrooms. They're not great, not yet - still run down, the walls discolored and peeling - but they've cleaned out the rotting wood, and brought in new furniture, so they're livable, and better than sleeping on the floor. Besides, though Armin doesn't mind sleeping in the same room as everyone - honestly, that's what he's been used to most of his life, whether it was Eren and Mikasa in the refugee camps, the boys of the 104th in their barracks, or the Travelers in liminal space - he's worried Sansa feels differently. These aren't her friends, not yet - not people she trained with, people she trusts implicitly. And he's given her enough to worry about recently. So he claims one of the first rooms they finish for them, and they slowly settle in after a long day.

He takes a deep breath, looking around, as the door closes. This is their room - it's still such an odd concept to him. Home. It'll be a long while before he's really used to it. Their meager possessions are in a couple small bags they'd bought for the occasion - of course, neither of them has much, yet. Not so soon after being a Traveler. Mostly just a few spare pairs of clothes.

The room is bigger than anything he's used to - though it's run down, now, it has the potential to be very nice. There's also a walk in closet, and a door to a private bathroom. Neither of which he'd have needed, for his own sake, but which he'd quietly sought out, for Sansa. He turns to her, spreading his hands a little and sounding just the smallest bit vulnerable.]

Our room. What do you think...?

[ A room of their own. It's more than she could have hoped for- a luxury she thought she'd never have. She drops down onto the edge of the bed as he closes the door behind them, lifting her head up just slightly so she can meet his eyes with her own. ]

Our room. [ She repeats it back to him, then smiles brightly at him. She's thankful, for all the little ways he's thought of her. She knows he might perhaps wish to be back with the others, piled on the living room floor in a heap of pillows and blankets.]

It's perfect. [ It's perhaps the sparsest room she's ever lived in- and certainly the most run down. But when she speaks, she speaks earnestly. With Armin in it- it's perfect. ]

[He smiles back, joy and relief plain. She likes it. He knows she's been in worse as a Traveler- at least in that, in liminal space, they had no rooms at all - but this is a more permanent sort of thing. He was a little worried it might not be enough for her - not what she's used to.

He makes his way to the bed, sitting down next to her and quietly taking her hand.] I'm glad you like it.

[ She allows him to take her hand, reaching for his other one with her free hand. She's tired, now, from the effort put in helping out with the move. She's tried her hardest to be useful and keep up with the others- but Sansa's never cleaned a day in her life, and surrounded by a group with military training, she's found herself feeling silly and useless. ]

You like it too, don't you?

[Armin brings his other hand to meet hers, then looks around at the room again - slowly, considering.]

I think so. It's... I dunno, I'm not used to actually having a room. The last time I really did, I was ten. It still doesn't really feel real to me. And I'm not sure I remember how to tell if I like a room or not. But I think so.It's... cozy, I guess.

[He looks over at her and smiles, quietly happy.] Or at least, it will be.

[Mikasa was busy working downstairs when she heard a crash and a scream. Dropping her broom, she went towards the source, eventually finding Levi on the ground and Petra staring down from a hole in the floor.]

So. I see there's instability in the floor above us.... Are you alright?

[Offering her hand to help him up.]

[Levi reaches a hand just to pet Petra's hair a little.] If it makes you feel better, I will.

[Levi looked more indifferent than frustrated at the whole thing, and if there's something he should be frustrated at, it's himself being so careless... but this matter isn't that important for him to think like that.

Instead he gets up with the help of Mikasa. At least nothing felt like broken.]

Yeah. Better put a warning near the stairs though, just in case.

[Of course he was indifferent. She couldn't really imagine him freaking out over it, even if it was something like this.]

Will do. Did you need any help, just in case there are more weak spots?

[Because Mikasa didn't mind helping.]

No. Though I think we shouldn't touch the second floor in a while. It requires a lot of attention and we have enough on our hands with just this floor.

Alright. There's plenty to do down here anyways.

[... and then people wonder why she adores him so much. She smiles at him.] It definitely will. Thank you, Levi.

[She'd get his phone to him, but she's kind of stuck at staring at his eyes. Good job, man. Well okay, she'll get it anyway and makes a quick check up while he's contacting that person.]

I agree. Where were you working on just now?

[After contacting the person in question, Levi seems to shake his head. He told her she didn't need to rush.]

She's coming here.

Great! [she grins and leans in to listen to his heartbeats.]

Do you want anything while we wait?

I figured it would be good to work on some of the places that we'd use the most, so I was working on the kitchen for the time being.

Kitchen is a good place to work on. I'll see about coming to help you, once I check if anything's broken...

[He says this because Petra would most likely get down and demand that soon enough. He's not that worried himself.]

[She gives a laugh at that and sneaks one of her hands into one of his gently.]

[Now you have to listen to her endless ~~handwaved~~ rambling about what to do to this mansion or the room they'll get, Levi. Enjoy.]

[When she does that, Levi brings the his other hand to pet Petra's hair as he listens to her ideas - sometimes softly agreeing as a sign he's listening.]

[Wait. Belatedly realizing a thing here even though Levi agreeing to things she says speaks his own language about the answer but...]

Unless you want quiet company right now?

[SHE CAN TRY TO BE QUIET TOO!]

No, it's fine. I like listening to your voice.

[She laughs and keeps explaining then until the (completely handwaved??) visit from Katara.]

[We can handwave or not, that's up to u~ But Levi will get back to work later.]

[Waving jazzhands here to also get them away from the floor!!

...But also once Katara is out of house with millions of thanks from this girl and Levi has a healers permission to continue working and all that, he'll get a hug!! ]

[Back to work soon maybe. He's fine. She's still telling herself that and well, at least she's mostly convinced by now.]

[There's a small poke on her nose for saying the word, but nothing else about it.]

Yeah. Actually, I promised to help Mikasa with the kitchen. Want to come as well?

[She looks surprised at the sudden poke at first, then she laughs at it.]

Sure! Better not keep her waiting any longer then.
