[David inhales and exhales. This situation could get bad and he wanted to stop it before it happened. The first Priestess he spoke to here did mention something about him doing more, maybe this is a way he could do that. When he's ready and has what to say in his mind, he speaks to everyone who happens to be inside of Nova City through his Telepathy.]

Okay, don't freak out at the sudden voice in your head. You aren't going crazy. My name is David Haller and I am projecting my thoughts and speaking to you through Telepathy. I want to ask everyone to calm down. Freaking out and rioting isn't going to help anyone.

[He's not sure how many will actually listen to that, but he has more important things to worry about right now.]

There is something going on with the Power Generator in the city and I am going to take a look and hopefully get this mess all sorted out. Anyone that wants to tag along can come. This is a one way conversation, so I am not listening to everyones thoughts. If you want to speak to me directly, call out my name in your mind and I'll hear it.

[Chihiro had just been trying to get a few things when things started to happen. What was going on, he wasn't sure and having someone telepathicly speak to him was enough to cause him to freak out a little bit. But he guessed that maybe helping out wth the power generator might be something he could do. He wanted to help after all. So now he is just thinking of the name he was told to think.]

U-Um... I hope its okay to ask if you want help?

[His name cuts through all the noise like a light in darkness and he homes in on it. He makes sure to only listen to surface thoughts that Chihiro is projecting.]

Yes, it's okay to ask. Do you have any special skills or abilities?

It depends on what you mean, but basically I'm good with programs and computers, but nothing else really.

[He wondered if that would actually be of any help.]

How good are we talking? The PDF file says the generator will need to be hacked. Is that something you would be able to handle?

I know probably about as much as you know. I haven't taken the time to try to dig up anything more because fixing the issue at the moment seems more important. [Investigating things properly once it is over and fixed seemed like the best recourse to him.]

In my world I was probably considered one of the best, I-I mean I'm not boasting, but when one spends a lot of time working on programs and creating an AI, one has enough skill to be able to do a little bit of hacking.

I'm sure Alter Ego could do it easily if I could get them into the system.

Haven't you noticed the state of Nova City at the moment? There is absolutely no power because of what is going on at the power generator.

Creating AI isn't easy. You must really be smart.

Alter Ego is the name of the AI? [It wouldn't be the strangest name he's every heard.]

{Not even a little scouting to ascertain the nature of the threat? sigh.] Very well. The earlier message seemed to indicate a potentially hazardous situation. I volunteer to lead a security team.

[Nope. If the thought the threat was larger, then maybe. And that's a big maybe. He's got no problem with jumping into things head first.]

Well people are looting and stuff. And we have hospitals and other emergency services here that are without power. [Though some might have personal generators, no telling how long they might last.] The situation may or may not be hazardous, but it is most definitely urgent. The building itself is locked down, but I can get us in easily. You can lead whatever fighting force we get, but just be ready for a fight, because there are security robots in there.

Koschei called out the name with his own telepathy, then waited a few moments to let the man focus his attention.

"I'm coming, too. I'm very good with mechanical engineering. Can you show me a map to the generators with your mind? I'm new to the city."

Not really, but electricity has only been common in my world for a little over a century. I have no reliance on it, though it is rather nice at times.

[Kazuya had stepped outside the Nova City gate just long enough to send a reply to the telepathic communication. He wasn't sure, but it seemed like a bad idea to try talking to someone with his mind while trying to keep his literal inner demon a secret.]

Right now, restoring order and keeping the people safe is my primary concern. There is widespread looting and anarchy in general. The Tekken Force has deployed to restore order and provide assistance to those who need it, however our numbers aren't as large as I hope they will be in time. Any assistance on that front would be appreciated.

My threshold for strange is pretty great, you and what you have done is nowhere near that level.

Do you need some type of physical interface to get your AI into the system? Like some sort of data port or USB.

Well it's pretty important to the people of the modern and futuristic age. We've all become reliant on it. And usually times like this when all power goes out, people freakout or just take advantage of it.

[Truthfully, David doesn't like the idea of the Tekken Force. Mostly because a corporation having it's own private kind of military force is..just a bad idea.]

My primary concern is restoring power. When we do that, it should help to alleviate the anarchy going on greatly. Not to mention people may be trapped in places, and who knows how long the hospitals and other emergency services will have power, if they have any at all right now.

[dammit Haller, not everyone is a living god! Some of us just have magical wuxia powers, control over elemental Essence, and superhuman leadership skills!]

In the event that violence does break out, someone should be designated battlefield commander ahead of time. Naturally I nominate myself, and request that you relay the suggestion to all members of the groups under your coordination.

I've got no problem with you taking lead in combat. If whoever does decide to go with us has a problem with that, you two will just need to settle it yourselves before violence breaks out.
