07 ❄ Video

[It takes Fai a while before he moves the device away to reveal a sign. For once it isn't a sign of the Cat's Eye. No instead of the usual cat face there appears to be a dog's face. As Fai steps back with the device it slowly becomes clear that he wasn't at the Cat's Eye and was instead in another city altogether.

Good evening everyone. As people should know I had been discussing opening a new cafe. After nearly a year of being here surprisingly I have finally got a new cafe. I decided to keep with my theme of animal names, so say hello to the Dog's Paw Cafe.

[He turns it around to show in the the building. It was obvious which city he was in. He was in Attleton.]

It will officially open at the beginning of May, but I won't be the one managing it. No, I have officially picked a new manager. So say congratulations to Flonne~ Who will be the new manager of the Dog's Paw. I'm sure she will do a wonderful job.

It was honestly a tough decision but I feel like this will be the right choice. [He just smiles slightly, he had another reason for picking her, at least for now. If this ends up working out, he was wondering what he would do then.]

I believe that is all I wanted to say. Except to please come to Attleton on the 1st for the Grand Opening~

Congratulations on your second store.

That lesson's been going around. There's still a chance we're all going to get sent home in the blink of an eye, but personally? I'd rather aim for a future instead of expecting there not to be one. I think you've made the right choice.

[ Not that she came to that conclusion as easily as she sounds like she did. ]
whiteas: (Something's very wrong here.)

We have to go home one day, obviously, but time has clearly stopped one way or the other. If we can stay here for years, I would rather take that opportunity than waste it.

I want to stay here as long as I can, anyway, even if I doubt that will be forever.
whiteas: (Guuuurl nuh uh.)

I have no idea how to tell that, but I'd imagine if it were possible, someone from a future time would show up and be able to tell us eventually. Personally, I hope we can age at least somewhat.

[ She doesn't mind being young, but she certainly wouldn't mind being a little older either. Weiss wants her body to be able to develop to its full potential instead of being stuck in a state of development. ]

Though you do have a point, since I doubt anyone's actually managed to stay here long enough to tell..
whiteas: (Is that my binder...?)

There has to be a way to figure out how to stick around by our own will instead of some arbitrary selection as it seems to be. Though I suppose the answer to that would be the flip-side of finding out how to leave.
whiteas: (I'll be a lil nicer ok)

You wouldn't happen to know anyone here who's particularly adept at science, would you? I imagine if those of us who are running successful businesses put some of our funds together, we could start a research team to take a more in-depth look at the Bay and the barrier and potentially find actual answers for those questions. At the very least, it'd certainly be the best lead we had without sitting around waiting for the information to fall into our laps.
whiteas: (Keep going I'm totes paying attention.)

Perhaps there's room for a non-profit organization dedicated to the research of this world and travel to and from it in Genessia in that case.

[ Of course, it'd require donations, but Weiss is sure that drumming up interest in this cause won't be too difficult. ]
whiteas: (Okay I've considered it.)

I'll see about getting interested parties started on it, then. With both your cafes and Schnee Company's backing, it won't be too hard to get things rolling.
