[Blaze had been laying low for quite a while since arriving. Despite the recent "excitement" in Nova City that he felt he should have at least investigated, he wanted to observe the place for a while from afar before jumping into any action, even though it was going against his better judgment. The place sure was 'interesting' so far, given that he'd seen flying cars, been to different cities with varying levels of technology, and even had a newspaper thrown at him out of no where (luckily he was used to avoiding high speed objects flying at him). By now, he'd eventually accepted that this wasn't some crazy Belkan trap or anything, and given that he'd been using his red bills sparingly, it was about time to make use of the videophone himself. So now there's a man with dark hair on the screen, giving a salute.]
Good evening. My name is Blaze, former pilot of Osea's 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron. I guess you could say I'm relatively new around here, so I'm hoping that someone could provide assistance for me to find employment in this place.
[Wow, formal there much, Blaze? He was still used to military life, so the mere idea of adjusting to civilian life again was so foreign to him. But he'd been here for a few weeks now, nearly a month, so he'd have to face the facts sometime. He certainly looks uncomfortable asking this- maybe it was paranoia still in the back of his mind, or maybe it was the idea of asking for help in something like this.]
I'm aware of the presence of the employment building, but I'm uncertain of my personal qualifications after months of military service as a fighter pilot. I'd appreciate any assistance or recommendations, if you would have any.

I can try and help as best you can. So you mentioned that you have qualifications, so have you thought about maybe... I would say security or something like that. I mean there is no planes around, so that type of work is out already. But I'm not sure what else there is.

As for employment... I don't think being a fighter pilot will help you get work in that area. But, maybe it will be useful to maybe try other work and see if it clicks.

My name is Athrun Zala. It's a pleasant surprise to meet a fellow pilot here.
[Even if Athrun pilots giant robots as opposed to fighters.]
As for qualifications...do you have any hobbies? Any post-secondary education? Internships, volunteer work?
video;
That's unfortunate, aircraft work would have been ideal. [He'd expected it, though, so he wasn't too disappointed.] Security may be a solid plan, if there are any openings available. I'll have to keep an eye out, thank you.

I was afraid of that, but I had a feeling. I guess I'll have to readjust and look for things more outside my expertise. [He does look a little uncomfortable with the idea, but hey, she could be right. He might find something mundane that does suit him.]
video;
That's all right. I appreciate your consideration nonetheless.

[He seems a little pleasantly surprised. It felt oddly comforting to know that there was another pilot around. Well... so long as he wasn't involved in the Circum-Pacific War somehow, anyway, but that was highly unlikely.]
I primarily studied aeronautics and some computer sciences before I enlisted in the Air Force. I never put much thought and time into most hobbies because of that, beyond the occasional model and researching the old Belkan War.

[Athrun ponders that for a moment. He can understand the desire to research a war, at least.]
You might look into the Aster Company, then. I was actually just hired there as a computer hardware engineer, and I know they're still looking for more personnel.

...Maybe something simple that's only for a few hours.

[She paused slightly.]
Ah, I'm Hikari Yagami by the way, if you have any other questions I'll be more than happy to answer.

I know it might not be something anyone would do, but people have to start somewhere, right?
Video;
My name is Mikasa Ackerman, a soldier from the 104th Trainees Squid and was in service in the Scout division before coming here from my world.
[Probably not neccesary to add that in, but why not since he'd formally introduced himself.]
I know I had a few difficulties thinking of what to do myself. There are always job openings listed in the newspapers, but the employment building isn't a bad place to start. I currently work for security at the Schnee Company myself. What kinds of things did you do as a fighter pilot?
[Part of that is actual genuine questioning. She has no idea what a fighter pilot even did.]
