[lucifer had been living with adeline for the past little bit. of course, when she also got a new master she figured that he had lived by himself long enough. lucifer had been the one to suggest living in the same apartment as her, only because she hated the idea of her master off somewhere while she was living in a nice, comfortable apartment. it was fine with two people there, three would fit as well- anymore than that and they would be having problems in their little space.

either way! they had all gathered at the park, and admittedly, lucifer was a bit nervous. she knew how her master was, his quick temper and strength was never a problem to her- but it could be to adeline? who knows. so she stays quiet, floating by grimmjow and her red eyes dart between the two of them.]

[Adeline tended not to see her roommate too much. Whether it was from her own ambulatory nature or her work schedule, they just ended up being out of the apartment at different times. And yet, despite that, she did like the daemon. Prideful to a fault, but also incompotent enough to let Adeline have a fun time of it. She had style and a wicked sense of humor and overall, Adeline liked Luci. Would have kicked her out if she didn't! So when Luci asked her to meet her 'Master' and talk to her, she agreed.

Wearing a simple enough outfit Adeline's eyes narrowed as she saw Luci and her presumed 'Master' approrach. Adeline tried not to judge a folk on their looks but she had already slotted the bastard into 'cocky sonuvabitch' the moment she saw his outfit and his walk. The sword shoved through his waistband was noted as her face masked her apprehension as she walked over to meet them in cool confident strides.]

[Grimmjow sized Adeline up as they approached, his hands were tucked away inside of his pockets and he wasn’t really putting off any sort of aggressive atmosphere about himself. It wasn’t like this meeting was about getting into a fight with someone.

The first thing he noticed about Adeline was what most probably noticed, and that was she didn’t look human. Those looks might be off putting to most, but he’d seen stranger looking being before. Much stranger. And not all of them even had a humanoid form. He regarded her with a neutral look on his face.]

Who else would I be? [Lucifer brought him here and all. It wasn’t like this meet up wasn’t preplanned, so she wasn’t going to bring someone that wasn’t her master.]

[er.... they better not fight!! lucifer really doesn't want that to happen, she's good friends with adeline but... she would have no choice but to obey her master if it came to that.

lucifer held her breath while the two conversed, and she exhaled once she realized she should be saying something. she would never talk over her master, but she felt like it was alright for this situation.]

Y-....yes, Adeline. This is my master, Grimmjow-sama... and of course, this is Adeline, a companion of mine who also serves as my roommate.

It makes no sense for you to reside in other gateways, Grimmjow-sama, so moving in with us seems to be the only logical option. You two needed to meet in order for that to truly be possible....

[Smoke trailed out from her nose as she snorted, feeling more talked at than talked to. The nervousness from Luci was noted however; was she afraid of her master or afraid of what would happen if they fought? Taking a moment to shut her eyes and force the her impulsiveness down and look Grimmjow in the eye.]

Movin' in huh? Gotta job?

No. I've just been staying in the Sub Archway from my world, so I didn't see much of a point. [The only reason why he was even going along with this was because Lucifer made sense when she said it would make no sense for him to reside elsewhere. This would cut down on the time needed for her to reach him when he wanted something.]

Grimmjow-sama does not require a job!

[suddenly lucifer spoke up, seemingly more determined and less nervous than she had been previously. instead of floating now she touched down and walked so she was closer to adeline. she placed a hand on her chest, then bowed a bit.]

Adeline- it is furniture's sworn duty to do anything for their master, and so I would work enough for both of us if Grimmjow-sama asked that of me. It.... it is not logical for the master to sleep off in a sub-archway while I have my own apartment along with you! If I'm unable to serve my master properly then that is the biggest disgrace to someone like me.

[honestly she would feel better sleeping out somewhere else while grimmjow was all comfy. she is just furnituuuureeeeeee!!! but she also turned to look at grimmjow now, expectantly waiting answers from both of them.]

[This got a raised eyebrow from Adeline]

You want to do the work to keep him around. You.

[Her lips tighten as her eyes gleam with her restrained laughter. Lucifer couldn't work; she couldn't even boil water without it setting fire to the pot. Her chest shakes as she wipes away tears]

I-Is that so, Luci? You'd do all that for Grimmy here?

[Her laughter subsides as she cracks a small, almost invisible soft smile]

Means that much ta ya, huh?

[Lucifer had done a good job with tending to Grimmjow's needs so far. He didn't think she would fail at getting a job if who really needed to get one. He stays silent to let her answer for herself, though.]

B-but of course it does! Is that not obvious?!

[but as she said this a blush rose to her cheeks, both from frustration and because adeline just had to talk about how much it meant to her. she was furniture, just a servant, of course she would go out of her way to prove she was the best. she's still lucifer of pride after all.]

I can do plenty of work, do not underestimate me Adeliiiiiine! [STOP LAUGHING AT HER!]

[Her grin is toothy and her chuckles merry as she looks over Grimmy one last time]

Well, if you're gonna be livin' in my place, you wouldn't mind a few ground rules, wouldja?

[Its not a yes. Not yet anyways. But the major 'getting over the hurdle of Adeline possibly jumping to fight him' has been passed. Now to get back her 'lairing' habits]

First off, you'd prolly be gettin the other room, so lets just go and say if the door's shut to our rooms, we knock before enterin' yeah? Beyond that, really, just curtsey shit. Clean up your own messes, leave a note if ya finish something off so we can get more, don't drag fights home, that kinda shit.

That's fine. I don't see any reason why I'll need to go into your room, though. [And Lucifer was his furniture, he'd always be allowed in her room no matter what.]
