「She isn't sure how to go about deciphering this, but the problem lies within the setting. Usagi isn't supposed to be here, actually. There is a slight unfamiliarity in the air, and despite all the places she's been to, there is no recognition of this place. Traveling around the world (read: as a sailor soldier) would have made her a little more familiar with the world, but not this. Never this.

So where is she?

Let's rewind a bit, eh?

It had been a slow awakening on her part, as she found herself afloat, thanks to a cocoon-like transportation. This definitely wasn't Juuban, much less Japan. She felt groggy, uncertain of herself as she slowly sat up, her mind hazy. She wasn't drunk, nor would she ever touch alcohol because no, she wasn't even legal yet--back to the point. She felt a little better after a while, the haziness receded as she fully sat up, massaging her temples as she looked around, more alert and aware of her surroundings.

Ocean?

The cocoon was moving, she realized, and the wider surroundings came into view--yes, an ocean of sorts. She felt pleased with herself being right for once, but the instant she felt herself slip, really, it was too much, she found herself more aware of where she was. She needed help, right now. The papers weren't much of help, but the phone might. Ah, maybe she could call someone? 」

Anyone there...? Hello? Maybe I'll just use the phone instead, maybe I can actually contact someone... 「 She's trying it out now. 」 How does this work, anyway...this button...ah--!

「A small face came into view as Usagi turned on the video function on the phone. She can read that much, yes, but she leans in, and then puts the phone at arm's length as she holds it.」

Hello, I'm Usagi Tsukino and I think I'm lost. Can anyone point me to the nearest train station or... 「Usagi, this isn't Japan--」 ...maybe the approximate direction of Japan...

「 There is a tinkering of the phone going on, much apparent from the noise. 」 I wonder if this is functioning...am I getting through? Please help, I don't want to keep anyone waiting at home...

Usagi..? My name is Lucy. I'm new here too. [ Actually she considers herself almost a veteran at this point no Lucy, you've only been to two other worlds and the moon don't go getting cocky. ]

I'm afraid those places you're looking for aren't here. Do you see a pamphlet near you? It should have been with that videophone you have.

「 Oh dear, indeed.

But she takes a more concerned tone here. 」

Ah, you are? I guess it's to be expected, being in a place like this. 「 She looks around on her end, the pamphlet wasn't much of help, honestly. 」

[ Well between that and a few helpful souls, and being through this before (though somewhere else last time) she had the gist of it. ]

That's it. Whoever wrote those pamphlets up gives you a bit of an idea of what's going on -though there's...still a lot of questions there that aren't covered. Basically somehow you were pulled here by some other power - same as a lot of other people here. But time stopped back where you're from, so the people there won't worry or think you just disappeared into thin air.

[ Japan... he's heard the name of that place several times prior in Exsilium. ]

I'm afraid you are far away from Japan, now.

「 The fine print, finally noticed, wow, someone's gotta read the whole thing before making assumptions. Usagi berated herself for that one--mostly self-induced. Wait, was that even written in there? 」

O,oh, I didn't read that much in. 「 She only gave it a little scan. 」 Wait, time stopped? There are other people who can stop time? 「 Wasn't Pluto the only one who-- 」 Uh, I mean, you know, considering the options-- 「 Did she just imply that she knew someone who can stop time? They are reptilian biologically, but they vary on size, shape, and appearance. Not all breathe fire, and can differ on the element they are associated with.

[Raye's heading down the stairs, off to go pay Harry a visit now that he's not being so reclusive. Her device beeps lightly, indicating a new message on the network, so she checks.]

[And misses the last step out of sheer shock at seeing her friend has showed up at long last, causing Raye to fall flat on her face.]

[She jumps up quickly, putting a hand in the small of her back with a wince of pain. Serena--! Or, well, Usagi if she's using her actual Japanese name.]

Usagi-chan?!

「 Hold on, computing... 」

「 It's Raye-chan! She couldn't be much happier seeing her, even if it is Raye, but Usagi loves her all the same. Finally, someone she knew! Bless the souls. 」

Raye-chan! I'm so glad to see you--!

「 She could learn a thing or two from him! 」

they do? you mean they can shoot out ice too? or maybe thunder or something?

It's been a while, hasn't it?

[At least to Raye, it has. She's been stuck here for well over a year; it'll be her 16th birthday soon too. Her expression is calm, even though she's overjoyed on the inside. She just wouldn't be Raye otherwise, would she?]

I'm not sure it's a person who's stopped time, so much as ...maybe a thing? It could be technology or ..even this place itself. I knew someone who had control over time, but I don't think even she would have that much control over a place.

[ Stopping time for an entire planet? Ultear was good - she wasn't THAT good right? ]

「 Usagi chuckled sheepishly as she waved her hand dismissively at the thought. 」

Well that's not actually true. There might be someone with a power strong enough to stop time but that would take a lot of magic when you think about it. There are people from a lot of different worlds here.

Ah - there's a map you should have with you. I hear there are apartments available in the city, and you can rent one for a little while - but you'll need to get a job before long.

[Raye doesn't giggle. Raye is a brat. But she'll let the comment pass since it obviously wasn't malicious.]

「 Usagi stared at the map that was folded inside the brochure. 」

Oh. 「 She looks at the map for a bit, although a little more confused than it should be. 」 Um, I think I can see where I am...

「 Usagi stared for a bit at her surroundings, obvious with the presence of water, she was sure she was in the bay. 」

W, well, I'm currently at the bay. I'm heading to shore as we speak, but I think maybe the map can help with the navigation... 「 meaning, help! 」

[Raye turns off the radio, and since no one is looking, she picks up the pace. It doesn't take long for her to arrive at the Bay, and upon spotting Usagi, she races forward, feeling happier than she's felt in a really long time.]

Usagi-chan!

[ She waits giddily for the other to come, already liking it here. She's got a friend here, and if anything, confiding in Raye will be something she'll do for the time that she's here.

And there she is--she hears her friend first, though. ]

Raye-chan~ I'm so glad to see you! [ She goes in for a hug. ]
