Don't you idiots know anything?
A distressed young woman, with an upset expression and frazzled, black hair took to the public comms. If it weren't for her haggard face, one would think she'd just gotten out of the bed.
"A few questions: Many of you have been here for a while, haven't you? And many of you possesses extraordinary abilities and talents.
How is it, then, that none of you have made any progress in finding a way out of Genessia?
Perhaps I'm missing something, but I don't miss much. Near as I can tell, we're no closer to escaping this awful place than when we've started. Don't tell me any of you actually like it here?
Please, give me some good news. Tell me you've found something out, rather than twiddle your thumbs."

"Some of us have been here for about a year, though the exact number is not known by me." it isn't clear where that Guardian is, but unlike a certain someone, she's perfectly presentable. "If you are truly as observant as you profess yourself to be then you already know why we have made little, if any, headway. How long have you been here in Genessia?"
no subject
"If I knew, why would I ask? Don't answer that, it's rhetorical. Just tell me what's obstructing your progress."
Curt, snippy, sure. And the ignorance of Satsuki's question is intentional. Her inquiry was much more important than some trivia over the duration of her stay. Clearly.

The reply is, at first, responded to with simple silence. The question in her mind is then 'Does she have this much free time?'. She'll keep it simple.
"Very well. However my question was not rhetorical."

"...I don't know. I don't see why it matters. Please, what's been holding everyone up?"

No! She shook her head, snapping out of it. The girl seemed to be compensating her fatigue with bodily exaggeration. "I don't understand. You haven't made progress because people haven't been...what, getting along? Does that mean you have the solutions in hand, just not enough cohesion for implementation?"
no subject
"Sadly that guess is too optimistic; what I am confident in is that I know which direction to head in to find answers. The difficult part is convincing others to follow what could be percieved as little more than a 'hunch'. I suppose I can't blame them. So I would say it is less 'getting along' and more 'having faith'."

"You're...you're serious. You're all completely ignorant, aren't you? This...this is unacceptable."
Her face bore a pained expression, as if she were experiencing an intense migraine. Then, her eyes opened with a calm, piercing clarity.
"Two days. In two days, I'll know the solution. Should you discover someone or something that might bequeath wisdom, give notice. Otherwise, do not disturb me."
no subject
At least at first.
Then things get.. Confusing. Her brows furrow, but once it's all said and done, she looks genuinely shocked. What.. What just happened there? Or better yet, what is the plan? To travel in time? Or some other method of looking into the future? Still, knowing the solution and executing it are two separate things.
"Two days." she repeats, as her frown increases. All right, she'll play along for now. "Very well; I am Satsuki Kiryuin. You are addressed as?"
no subject
"Yes. Once the abode is complete, the mystery shall be unveiled in two days." She slowly shook her head in response to her latest inquiry.
"What is that to you? That is your second inanity, Satsuki Kiryuin. In return for your answers, I will answer in kind: Lucy. This shall be the last vanity I indulge." She switched off the communicator, and headed towards the Genessia library.
