Where are they coming from? The feeling seems to be swirling and shifting, she can't get a lock on it. But coupled with the nightmare she had last night... She can't ignore this. She pulls her radio from her pocket and switches it on.]

Guys, something nasty is heading our way. I don't know what it is, and I can't say when it's going to strike, other than "soon."

I'm used to visions being hard to make out. But then all these guys start demanding more information when I already said all I know, and THAT makes me mad!

I don't think it's possible to ward the entire city. It could even be in one of the Archways. I just don't know.

"Okay, SORRY!" Betelgeuse snapped back, instinctively pulling back a bit from his video screen. He frowned. "How should I know what you would and wouldn't do, anyways? Isn't like we've met before, babes!"

Most of my visions arrive after hours of meditation in front of the Sacred Fire. This is new.

[She shouts right back. She hasn't forgotten that he scared the crap out of her at that New Year's party, so Raye isn't holding back. Brat.]

"What? What did I assume?" he asked, pulling out a cigarette and lighting up. "What do you want to be called, then?"

I'm sure it's not their intention to upset you - maybe they just don't understand how visions work, and thought you might have ..forgotten to mention some things. [ A shake of her head. ] Although with a situation as serious as this, it wouldn't make sense for you to do that.

[Mab lifts her head from the screen and for a moment she is silent as though she is trying to sense whatever Rae senses. If there is something coming though, she can only currently feel a soft prickling of power. She is too unaccustomed to this place to be able to determine a source or intent behind it. Much less distinguish any differences with all the people of power surrounding them.]

"Ooo, very ironic, not killing the dead guy. Raye, huh? Not of sunshine, that's for sure. You're kinda grumpy. Cute, but grumpy," Betelgeuse told her grinning.

If he noticed any reaction to his cigarette, he ignored it, puffing away.

[She didn't feel any hatred, but the energies were definitely negative and foul in nature.]

[She is silent for a moment just letting the sparkings of whatever is coming wash through her before she finally returns her attention to Raye. If she generally needs to meditate to see things the event is likely to be large in comparison to the space in reality and time that it will take up.]

"Okay, I will!" Betelgeuse promised, snickering. He aimed his videophone, so she could see that he was floating, with his toes pointed down and just brushing the ground. "How does that suit ya, Raye babe?"

[If she were in actual proximity to Mab, then she'd definitely pick up some major vibes from her. Unfortunately, that's not possible over the radio. Besides, she's too distracted by the incoming vision to think much of it.]
