As far as any of us can tell, you aren't going to miss anything from home while you're here. No one ever remembers anyone else going missing, regardless of what time frame they're from. Which I think means that we're pulled out of time itself instead of only physically kidnapped, but it's difficult to gain any actual evidence for any theory regarding that.

Anyway, even if you can't do something like that, you certainly sound like you've got some experience with inventions. What kind of job did you have back home?
