WHO: Karla and Open
WHAT: Karla challenges the guards in Castlevania in an attempt to reach Dracula's laboratory.
WHEN: Whenever?
WHERE: Castlevania
WARNINGS: Violence, most likely.
Karla has answered quite a few challenges in Genessia, but this was something entirely new. She was in it more for the challenge itself than for the potion, but her curiosity was piqued regardless. Most of her previous battles had been against singular opponents. Here, she was certain that she would be facing multiple foes. The exact number was unknown, as were the types. She imagined knights and cavaliers, but there was no way to know for certain. The warriors in Genessia were far different from the ones in Elibe.
And then there was the size of the castle. It was huge. Then again, Karla hadn't really seen a castle this close before. Were they all this big? There was no telling where the laboratory was within the castle. She could end up lost for quite a while. Somehow it made the challenge even more interesting. She had already agreed to the challenge, so she was not about to back down. She expected Dracula to be waiting for her, but there was no sign of him.
Slowly, she stepped through the gates. "Hello?" she called softly, before thinking better of herself. She'd see how far she could get with stealth at first. Though she expected that she wouldn't get very far. So silently, she entered the castle to begin her challenge.

Not the easiest thing for someone like her who had as much experience and power as her. But still, an interesting examination.
As Pidonus stepped through the gate, Karla would hear her heeled footsteps on the stones. How she'd react... That was a better question.

"Hello," she greeted. "Are you here for the potion, too?"
It would be an interesting development if she were. Karla had been under the impression that this was to be a solo mission. Then again, the man in the broadcast had not stated that people couldn't come in groups.

Karla just might be a cat that may get killed by her curiosity one day. She began to ponder.
"I was under the impression that this was to be done solo...but then again, he didn't say we couldn't have allies either. So I don't know how this will work..."

Pidonus chuckled. "Just ideas."

With that, Karla began to enter through the main door.

"Well, this is...nice..."
Of course, the word "nice" had a variety of definitions. She also noted how empty the castle seemed. But it had to be a ruse. No doubt that there were enemies probably waiting to take them by surprise. How predictable.

She looked out into the corridor again, looking out for any sort of "trouble."

She moved even farther down the corridor. The tension was indeed building as she reached for her sword sheath in anticipation.
So Dreamwidth didn't tell me about this tag. Sorry.
Well, for now, follow. A chance to split might come soon... Or perhaps some actual monsters. Either way...
