[There's a clap of thunder as the video starts and the camera focuses mainly on a decidedly green face, though it does jerk around as the holder swings what appears to be a massive one-handed hammer at the various spirits that accost him as he walks through Genessia's streets.]

By the ancestors... what in the Nether is going on here? If this is some Alliance scheme to leverage demands of the Horde, I assure you that Zul'jin and the others would sooner bring the might of the Horde down on Stormwind than give into any kind of demands.

[He pauses, the camera turning slightly as he thrusts his hammer forward, lightning jumping from its head and zapping several oncoming spirits, the bolt jumping from one to another.]

And if this is some attempt to get me to clean up whatever mess you humans have made with opening portals into the Twisting Nether, I promise you, your treasuries will not have enough gold to compensate me for this offense.

[Sakura is safely out of the chaos though seeing someone new on the device made her worry.]

Hello? I'm not sure what your talking about but you're in Genessia. You should head towards an Archway? [She looks away from the screen for a moment as if confirming that is correct with someone else.] Fayren or Nova. It's safe there.

[ None of those place names are familiar to Braga. She has a waraxe to defend herself. Thankfully, she doesn't feel the need to rage yet, which allows her to operate the communicator.]

I doubt humans got anything to do with this.

[Thrall brings the hammer down on another attacking spirit before addressing the response.]

Speak Common, kid. I've got no idea where or what these Fayren or Nova places are.

The architecture isn't what I'd call human, looks more gnomish, but nothing is blowing up, or changing sizes at random, so I feel safe in assuming this is all gnomish technology that humans modified to their preferences.

[At least it wasn't goblin-made. Then things really WOULD be going boom.]

Oh um.. from the bay that's...

[There is some scuffling because Sakura is getting out the map.]

Nova city is north and then Fayren is south. I was told that both are safe. I'm in Nova city now.

[There's a long gap between getting the directions and his response as he makes his way to Fayren. Now, however, even though he's not bashing things coming at him, he doesn't look at ease. If anything he looks more unnerved than he did when fighting.]

I was closer to Fayren so I headed south. This place is nothing like the other place. What in blazes is going on here!?

[Sakura doesn't have a lot of answers on that front be she will try her best.]

This place likes to take people from other worlds and bring them here. As for the creatures... [She has no idea what to call them.] There was a loud crack and they showed up.

I happened to be out of the city when it happened.[Which means that is all she knows about it.]

Literally no one knows what the hell you just said but I'm just gonna take a wild fething guess its basically the "where am I" schtick combined with "what in the Abyss is going on?" one.

[The scaled face takes a moment out of her rant to punch at some ghosts with her glowing yellow black gauntlets before breathing fire at them]

Long story short, Genessia, weird alternate dimensional bullshit and now godsdamned ghosts on top of it.

It didn't take long for Koishi to show up at the bay. Having heard the crack of thunder she moved to investigate. If someone had arrived in the bay with all these spirits around then it would likely be very bad. Well, bad if this new person couldn't fight back anyway... which they probably could considering the loud thunder crack.

Koishi skimmed over the waters of the Bay, stopping short a stone's throw from the massive orc. He was the size of an oni! A little more cautious in her approach, she reached out and poked him in the arm several times, focusing fairly hard so he would notice her quickly.

"Hey Mister. Big green Mister. You are very green and I can appreciate that but the bay isn't safe right now. There are lots of bad things happening. Lots of hostile spirits are gathering. You should go somewhere safe."

Well... How do I put what is going on into words... [He lightly taps his finger against his chin as he thought it over.]

There was something that came from the sky and now there is chaos raining upon on us... Unless you go to Nova City, Fayren or Attleton. Everywhere else is crazy. So unless you enjoy that kind of thing... You best seek one of those cities.

[Thrall growled slightly, glancing over his shoulder at the gate.]

Right, you're telling me that the place itself brings people here? And from other worlds?

[...admittedly stranger things have happened on Azeroth...]

Hmm... they seemed like angry spirits. I wonder what agitated them...

Sounds about right.

[He spins the hammer in his hand, bringing it crashing up into an attacking spirit with remarkable ease for a hammer of that size.]

Not really sure what you just said either, but I doubt we'll be getting much exchanged in the way of information so long as the fighting is going on. How long has it been like this?

Thrall's initial instinct was to swing at whatever was close enough to touch him, but as he turned and saw what he only assumed was a small human girl at first glance, he stopped himself mid-swing. He just stares for a moment as she talks. First time in a while anyone ever mentioned that they could appreciate him being green... ~~which isn't easy, by the way.~~

It didn't take long for him to pick up on the unusual energy swirling around the girl. It felt something akin to the demons of the Burning Legion but... starkly different at the same time. She seemed closer to elemental in nature, but with a dark twist too.

"I would very much like to get out of the fighting until I can get my bearings, but if I may ask... what are you?"

At least it isn't raining Infernals...

[He sighed as he shot another chain lightning spell out from the hammer.]

I've heard that before. I intend to head that direction until I can at least make sense of all this.

She tensed a little as he raised his hammer, her third eye shying way a little bit. That energy shifted too, coiling, swirling... Though she relaxed as he did, the orb swaying gently from side to side. She was reacting to his hostility. Or his intention, even.

"Walk and talk. Walk and talk. But make sure you have the things from the shiny metal pod. You'll need them." She reached down and wrapped her hand around his index finger, tugging him along gently once she was sure he had the items with him.

"Fayren is a good place. We'll go there, okay? There aren't any of these spirits there yet..." The 'yet' seemed a little reluctant. "There are other scary things though and monsters so be careful, okay?"

Once they were out of the waters of the bay she answered his other question. "I'm a satori youkai. A lot of people here don't know what that is though. A youkai is a demon-monster-spirit-thing... There isn't a good word for it in this language. We're creatures of aspects. Satori are youkai of consciousness, and we can read minds. I can't read minds though anymore so you don't have to be scared. I'm voided so I can read and manipulate the subconscious instead. I'm really good at it."

She only seemed to be half paying attention to him, looking around and occasionally behind for any spirits. "Cracking circles, holes and sinking, swirling, buckling... Bad bad. Everything is so bad right now..."

Maybe, I haven't seen any gnomes around. There might be some in Fayren.

I heard some mention his technology is what humans have when their world's don't have magic.

No one's really figured out what brought us all here, or where those spirits are coming from.

[ The camera jerks a bit as she swings her axe at some spirits. She's still calm.]

[Sakura watches the video with a worried glance.]

I'm not really sure. I've traveled through worlds before but Mokona took us.

[She looks up at the crack in the sky.]

The spirits arrived after the crack did. [Sakura's always been able to hear spirits and voices that others were def to but these were different some how.]

What's an Infernals? I assume they are bad by the sounds of it.

[He nodded slightly.]

Is something trying to attack you right now? I assume that is why the whole... lightening thing is going on currently.

What, never chatted and fought before cutter? [A bark of laughter before her fist lashes out at something offscreen. Her expression glowers as she growls in the back of your throat] But chyeaaaah, prolly should give these spooks the laugh afore gettin' down ta brass tacks. Should be a sign nearby ya, cutter. Tell me where yer at and I'll be there in two shakes of a kobold's tail.

[He sighs in deep thought for a moment, placing the Doomhammer at the holster on his side, pulling a small flask from his belt and taking a sip.]

I see. These spirits... they seem... almost empty. They are unlike anything I have ever sensed before...

[For now, Thrall is focusing his combat on spellcasting, with the cries of wolves as a pair of spirits tear into foes.]

Odd. Humans without magic... a situation I find myself struggling to imagine. I don't suppose any have heard of the Horde here, have they?

[The camera jerks as Thrall smacks away several enemies with surprising speed before responding.]

I'm well accustomed to giving orders in the heat of battle. Gathering information is better suited to places other than the battlefield.

Thrall can't help but find himself amused at the mannerisms of the girl, allowing himself to be led along. Still, what she called herself was both fascinating and disconcerting. A mental elemental was the first thing his mind likened her to. It would make sense though, mortals were powerful enough that elemental spirits could conceivably take form based on aspects of their psyche. Still, considering the natures of Elemental Lords like Ragnaros, he feared he would be found ill equipped should he have to fight her.

It was obvious though that the situation was wearing on Koishi, and he pulled a small flask from his side, undoing the top and holding it out in offering. "Perhaps a drink will help calm your nerves. It is a special brew I made myself, used when I commune with the spirits."

Giants made from obsidian, standing ten feet tall, eternally burning with fel magics.

[He paused, smacking another spirit with a back-swing of the hammer before going on.]

They're the footsoldiers of the Burning Legion; demons that seek to wipe all life from reality. They are given just enough intelligence to know to destroy. And yes, if you hadn't noticed, spirits are kind of attacking anything and anyone that moves at the moment.

Different strokes for different folks, I suppose!

[With a creaking cracking and a throaty roar, the camera jutters around as someone obviously went through a wall as the sound of leathery wings begin to flap in the background]

Never ya mind, there aren't as many folk out lately so iffin ya keep up what yer doin' I should be able ta find ya from above. See ya soon, I'm sure.

[Sakura pauses for a moment placing her hand over her heart.]

I can't hear them... [She can usually hear spirits but not these of course she's very far away from the conflict since Fai had taken her to the safety of Nova City.]

Never heard mention of it, here or my world, beyond the general term. Some ain't even heard of orcs.

[ She might have to start raging soon, not knowing about them taking emotions.]

Koishi wasn't an elemental. Not really. Though the comparison was certainly valid. She seemed oblivious to his worries though, or was simply ignoring them, poking her head out onto the street before continuing along. Far down the way the gate to Fayren was visible.

"Straight ahead. See how it shines like that? It will bring us to Fayren. If the spirits get in there Purple Thing and Sis and everyone else can take care of them. If they get into Nova City-" She pointed in another direction. "-Miss White and Miss Music and Mister Big will take care of it. I'll go wherever its really bad because I'm really good at shredding them..." She didn't mention how bad her headache was getting.

She paused as the flask was offered to her, blinking at it. "Oh. Okay. Thank you." She was so tiny compared to him, anything more than a small sip seemed like it might knock her off her feet. But she took a good gulp of it before handing it back, pausing and suppressing a cough, wobbling for a moment. Her outline seemed to shimmer some.

"... It's really strong. That surprised me Mister. You would get along well with the Oni. They like to drink too" She licked her lips, a little flush but otherwise largely unaffected, though her unsettling aura was growing stronger. She gestured once more, tugging him along toward Fayren.

Interesting.

[In his mind if he could travel worlds again... he thinks he hopes he could avoid a world like that.]

I do know of the attacking spirits, but they aren't attacking the city I am currently in, so they aren't exactly a problem here.

[Thrall nods a bit, gazing off into the distance.]

I can hear them... sort of. I can tell they are there but only because they sound like a silence so dense it smothers all noise.

[So attempting to contact Zul'Jin or any of the other heads of state was out of the question. Great.]

I see. If I could just find a safe place, I could attempt to contact the elements, see if they could shed some light on the subject.

[Thrall just chuckled a bit as another bolt of lightning jumped from the head of his hammer.]

I would welcome a comrade in a storm such as this. My name is Thrall, might I inquire as to yours?

I wonder if they are lonely...

[Her voice is soft trailing off as she spoke. A hand moves to her hears as if she is listening to an invisible voice.]

Thrall was going to keep the topic of conversation calm, if only for his own sake, with the unnerving aura intensifying. "That was not just any drink, miss. That was a sacred sapta, brewed by shaman of the Frost Wolf clan to bring us closer to the elements and heighten our spiritual awareness."

He allowed Koishi to tug him further along, but he felt it kind of silly when he could just turn into a spirit wolf and easily cover the distance. Still, she was a spirit in an unfamiliar place and he didn't want to startle her, so he went along with it for the moment.

[Thrall, by contrast is just trying to focus on the fights so keeping the camera stable isn't exactly a priority.]

How nice for you. Ugh, what I wouldn't give for a band of adventurers right about now...

The aura didn't get much worse, fortunately, but an involuntary twitch had begun on her left side. Her third eye seemed more restless, bobbing and weaving around, several of the arteries twisting and untwisting. She didn't seem to notice it or simply didn't comment, though she did quicken her pace.

"Oh. I didn't know that. If you just want alcohol though then the Oni are more than willing to share. You're really big and strong. If they talk back to you then headbutt them or smack them with your hammer. That will probably amuse them enough to like you. Especially since you're already so big." A pause. "Actually they'll probably just comment on you being green as opposed to red or bl-"

She let go of his hand, moving with quite a bit of speed around him and to one side. He could probably sense it for a moment. Another spirit. There was a horrible sensation as Koishi's aura magnified several times, a loud crack resonated in the air as an empty psychic lance drove into it and slammed it into a dumpster. It left the metal very bent and torn in several places, though this seemed more the result of the strike piercing its target rather than the spirit itself hitting it. Either way, this was more than enough to kill it, the spirit dissolving into nothing.

Koishi held steady for a long moment, hand still held out protectively between the spirit and Thrall. Her aura wavered a little bit and she let out a breath, relaxing. She turned to Thrall, her left eye hollow and cracked. The right, though darkened, still had a visible green light tracking her gaze. There was no hostility toward him, though it still didn't feel right. Her power was unbalanced perhaps?

"... We were moving unseen. That's really bad..." She rubbed her left eye. She also seemed more visible than she had been when they first met. "Crumbling out, tap tap roll and bright. We should hurry. Hurry hurry. Or else more will come."

[That sure was unmistakable and as he uses that lightning, her head turns and she smirks]

Adeline. Heads up, I'll be flyin' down in a minute.

[The feed shuts off as Adeline begins to rapidly make her way to the airspace above Thrall, her wings a blur as she soars through the ghost laden skies]

There are people out there who well... get involved in this kind of thing. You just need to find them.

Fayren's your best bet.
[ She gives directions from the Bay]

Still safe from these things. Seems magic friendly.

Gotta go. Need to rage. Won't be capable of coherent conversation.

Hmm... whatever it is, I'm afraid they are beyond my help. I cannot commune with what I cannot hear.

[That bit about the rage catches Thrall's attention. The memory of what Grom was like under the demonblood influence is still fresh in his mind, even after so many years.]

Find me after the fight. I would speak of this rage in detail.

[Thrall's eyes go skyward as he clubs another spirit. He thrusts a palm outward, conjuring two ghostly crimson wolves that tear into the nearby spirits before turning his palm back toward himself as a small white orb begins to orbit him.]

If you could get me to higher ground, I'd much appreciate it, Adeline. Despite my armor, I assure you I'm quite light.

[And he is, actually, though his weight is apparent at first, wind will kick up beneath him to negate the majority of his weight while aiding Adeline's flight once they make contact.]

Thrall studied Koishi for a long moment before responding, deciding it best to get the spirit girl out of the area where she could calm down rather than dally here.

"You lead and I will follow. Don't worry about me keeping up. I move fairly fast with four legs."

There's a flash of light as he vanishes, a glowing blue ghost wolf in his place, nodding knowingly at Koishi, and poised to run.

[Sakura nods, her worry obvious.]

I hope everything will be alright.

Right, right, hope ya got a plan for that, guy.

[Comes her voice from the watch and the sky. The woman swoops down, a single gauntleted hand reaching down to swing him up with her as she drags him up into the sky. She's a bit surprised he's so light; she's presuming magic but there weren't any of the visual cues of Warp-y bullshit. Its a bit surprising]

Uh huh

[She cuts off the feed. Braga's barbarian rage comes purely from within, and she doesn't realize that it will make her more vulnerable to the spirits. Emotion draining would put an abrupt end to the rage and leave her fatigued.]

Koishi stared for a long moment at the wolf, the glow in her blackened eye gradually returning. She opened her mouth to speak but she stiffened, glancing back over her shoulder. They would talk when its safe. "Follow me!" Flying up she took off with astounding speed, raising one hand to hold onto her hat.

She glanced back and slowed slightly to make sure the wolf could keep pace. It's probable that the little youkai was much much faster than any land creature, spirit or otherwise, could probably hope to be. Still, progress like this would be made much faster. They would reach the gate in no time.
