Action/Video - Memories of the past
[Action]
[Mint green hair falls in front of her face like a curtain as she slowly rises. There is another box and a familiar set of writing inside. She remembers being home; creating memories with those she met after the Empire’s control wore away. Why hadn’t she remembered this place too? She’s surprised to see herself here again but she can’t help but also wonder: how long has it been?
Terra doesn’t waste time. She knows where she is but she needs to determine what has changed. She takes the box in hand, roughly knowing its contents and walked from the bay area.
Delicate fingers shield her bright blue eyes from the light as she takes in the sights. She doesn’t expect to meet anyone she had known from before and part of her truly hopes she doesn’t. She wasn’t herself then.]
[She remembers how the deceives work and with her added memories of home, using it became significantly easier.]
…
Hello. [Terra is a little awkward at first, her voice quiet and delicate like a songbird.] I was here before but it’s been some time. I don’t know how long it has been. My name is Terra.
If someone could please let me know what is happening or if anyone here recognizes me. I’d very much like to speak. I’d also like help with a few other things. I want things to be different this time so I’m going to start doing that now.
Thank you.

Heya Terra! I'm Pascal! This place was all pretty quiet but then a bunch of angry ghosts smashed through the sky and stole people's souls for a bit, so a couple people did some abra-cadabra junk over in Fayren and fixed it and now it's pretty quiet again.
Soooo, you said you left and came back?
Video
Yes, I did.
[She pauses.]
abra-cadabra?

Anyway, how'd the world-hopping go? Did anything weird happen before you got taken back? Was anything different? Were you still were you were when you left? Tell me all about it-- for science!
no subject
It wasn't really hopping. I didn't remember anything from here when I was at home. Nothing strange happened, just as I awoke it was in a blink... except as I said, I didn't remember this place.
It's very different here but it's been a little under a year. Since I didn't remember anything I don't think anything at my home changed...
I'm sorry I'm not more helpful.
no subject
Awww, that is pretty useless. Bummer.
[So much for nice, huh. She heaves a long-suffering sigh.]
But it's not like the mysteries of the universe are your fault or whatever, and it does confirm a couple of things I've heard so I guess it'll do.
no subject
[She might not understand everything that Pascal says but it's not going to stop her from asking more.]
And if I remember anything I'll let you know.

[Time hasn't pasted at her home except time in Genessia has and she feels as if she's missed so much.]
Excuse me but... how long have you been here?
no subject
[She turns around and rifles in a drawer then pulls out something that doesn't look like a clock at all.]
Seventeen hours and twenty-eight minutes!
Why? What's up?
no subject
[Terra blinks again, it's very impressive.]
I was just curious.
[She shakes her head.]
I suppose I'm looking for those I know but they might all be gone now.
[She pauses.]
I didn't know many people anyway.
no subject
Besides, numbers are super easy to remember.
[For her, anyway. Names, on the other hand? Not so much. She's willing to try, though. Terra tried to answer her questions after all, even if she kind of sucked at it.]
Who all are you looking for? Not making any promises, but I might know them! And if I don't, my boss definitely will. She's like, a professional busybody or something.
no subject
[Terra already knows that it isn't that helpful. She waves a hand feeling a little strange all of a sudden.]
I'm sorry. I should be able to sort it out on my own but thank you.
[She bows her head slightly falling into a formality that she seems familiar with.]
no subject
[She shrugs.]
Anyway, what was the other stuff you want help with-- for 'things to be different this time' or whatever? That sounds pretty ominous when you put it that way, y'know.
no subject
[She remembers more now but it still hurt thinking back on it.]
I had lost my memories and a man named Kefka abused that...
no subject
Well, I haven't heard of him, but even if he's around we can help keep you safe. The City Guardians are pretty on top of things, and Schnee Corporation has a neat security team too. Make sure that they both know about this Kefka guy!
no subject
[He isn't the sort that is easy to ignore, nor is he one to hide his presence. He enjoys being at the center of attention.]
But thank you.
[Her expression softens.]
It's nice not to feel alone.
no subject
Hey, with so many of us stuck in the same boat here, how could we possibly be alone? If it feels like that again, just give me a call!
no subject
Thank you. I will.
[It's very nice of her to offer and admittedly Terra isn't used to that.]
