What: She wants to explore!

[The all-clear had been given that the crises in Genessia and Everglade was resolved had been out for a few days now. Anastasia had remained at the Schnee company crises center just in case there was a "round 2." Since it looked like everything was good and safe again, she decided she was ready to expand her horizons. She wanted to go exploring.

One problem still remained though. Her peoples' natural inability to tolerate the heat. Carrying around a backpack full of water would both a pain in the back and a waste of water, so she needed an alternative. And she found one. A device called a "umbrella." It was like a parasol, but for a different purpose. Since umbrellas cast a shadow, she could use this to block the sun.

Once Anastasia was ready, she took a breath and took that one giant step out of the Schnee Co. center into the sunlight, the umbrella open and held over her head. A few moments passed and she felt fine. She made a pleased sound as she wandered off on her own into the magical city of the future with no definite destination decided.

Who knows what she'll find in a place like this?]

[Sakura has also taken chances to explore since the conflict. Fai has asked her not to wander to far but that doesn't stop her curiosity from fueling her actions. As she moves through the city she smiles at every little odd thing, including what some of the fruit look like here.

As she moves she loses her balance lightly knocking against the girl with the parasol. She looks up in surprise.]

I'm sorry.

[Anastasia spotted another girl walking her way. She was looking at something, but she couldn't figure what. She looked to be around Anastasia's age, if not a little older. And she dresses nicely.

Before they even passed each other, she saw the girl trip and fall to her. Like the agile cat that she wasn't, she crashed into the girl and fell backwards, dropping her parasol.]

"Ow, ow, ow..." [Anastasia slowly got back to her feet, picking up her parasol and holding it back over her head before the heat started to affect her. She glanced at the other girl, unsure of what to say at first.]

"You are...forgiven?" [She paused a moment.] "Are you unhurt?"

Yes. I'm fine! I didn't mean to run into you.

[Though she shouldn't be walking with her eyes staring at the different sights Nova City had to offer.

Sakura smiles a little nervously.]

I haven't been here long so I was looking around.

[Anastasia tilted her head to the side inquisitively for a moment before going upright again.]

"I fled here from the crises in Genessia, so I am new here as well. This is the first time I ever stepped outside on my own, so I was exploring also." [She offered a slight smile as she adjusted the parasol in her hand to keep herself in its shade.] "My name is Anastasia. May I ask yours?"

It's the same for me.

[Her smile grows, becoming more lighthearted.]

I'm Sakura.

[Anastasia couldn't help but smile brightly. She might finally have a real friend in Genessia.]

"It is nice to meet you, Sakura. Would you like to explore the city with me?"

Sure!

[It's safer with others and it looks as if Anastasia hadn't seen that embarrassing video that Fai had sent out.]

Is there a direction you wanted to go in?

[Anastasia would feel safer having someone else around. Upon Sakura's question, she shook her head.]

"Nowhere in particular. Though, the map shows some places called a 'Arcade' and a 'Planetarium.' So I thought I would go by those two and see what they are."

[Sakura smiles.]

That sounds like fun!

[She remembers the planetarium from when she first arrived but she doesn't remember where that was.]

Do you know the way. [Sakura doesn't have a map.]

[ Porrim stood at an intersection with Anastasia, waiting for the light to turn so they could cross the street. She did a double take on Anastasia's chosen accessory. ]

Are yo+u expecting sky sprinkles?

[Anastasia had been quietly studying the lights and the people and the oddly-shaped carriages responding to them. Such a complicated system and she wondered how any of this could be safe. The whole time, she was unaware of a woman beside her until she spoke to her.]

"Huh...? Sky sprinkles...?"

[Anastasia took a couple of steps back away from the street to have the woman in full view and hope she was both friendly and willing to explain what "sky sprinkles" are.]

Yes..?

[ Was this one of the many instances that humans had a weird confusing names for things? ]

You know, when water falls out of the sky?

"Water falls out of the sky?"

[She only knows of snow falling out of the sky, but she never knew it could exist in another state. One of the facts of life for her that comes from growing up in perpetual winter.]

Is that no+t a thing that happens o+n earth?

[ That was the name of the human planet, right? ]

Well o+n Befo+rus sky sprinkles are a thing, because o+f the weather. It evapo+rates and precipitates do+wn to+ the gro+und again.

[Anastasia was just getting more confused. Why was this woman talking about that which all life rests upon? But she started to piece everything together and finally understood sky sprinkles.]

"Um... Miss? I am not from this world, or any world called 'Earth.' I have never seen 'sky sprinkles' before. My country only ever saw snow..."

[She began to twirl her umbrella nervously.]

Well if yo+u aren't expecting water to+ fall fro+m the sky, why are yo+u ho+lding a sprinkle deflecto+r?

"My people can't tolerate hot weather well. So I'm using this to keep the sunlight off of me."

[Hikari always enjoyed walking though Nova City and it wasn't just because she had work there from time to time. It was also because the place was simply amazing. There was so much there and all of it looked like it came from the future or something. That she had travel forward in time. It was enough to always bring a smile to her face anyway.

But today she had come for a different reason and that was to find any and all strays to take back to the shop so they could find loving homes. So her eyes were focused for that. However while she was in the middle of chasing a cat, the cat had found solace with the girl with the parasol and decided to take shelter.]

Ah, found you. [She was a little out of breath after chasing it for the past five minutes as she looked up to the girl.]

I should apologize if you don't like cats.

[A younger girl? Whatever reason this world has to kidnap people, it certainly isn't picky with ages. Anastasia had been sitting on the ground with the cat, keeping her parasol over them both for shade. She smiled at her.]

"It is quite all right. Cats are rare in my country so it is nice to learn how cute they really are."

[She gives a small chuckle as the cat starts rubbing up against the other, clearly it likes this person.]

How are pretty adorable at times, though they are rare where you are? How come?

[Explaining why many animals are rare in her country would be a long story, riddled with mythology conflicted with facts.]

"Well... I do not know how to explain it. But to the best of our knowledge, many animals like cats and dogs moved out tens of thousands of years ago when my country turned into a tundra."

[She tilted her head slightly. She had to hazard a guess that they weren't from the same world or if they had been were from the future or something. However that was a long jump of a guess.]

I see...Though I don't actually know what a tundra is, I hazard a guess it was nothing good.

[Anastasia gave the girl a re-assuring smile.]

"A tundra is a large area that is always cold. My people adapted to that weather, and we even have help from cute little snow rabbits. We capture the rabbits, groom them for their fur and release them back into the wild. With that fur, we make our clothes. My home city has many rabbits roaming free in the streets."

[She wasn't going to mention the other effects that evolving and adapting for perpetual winter had. She wanted to make her home sound as beautiful as she remembers it.]

[Well that did sound beautiful and at least the rabbits were being used for there meat, she wouldn't know what to think about that really. Never the less the cat comes back over to the young brunette as she knelt down and picked them up, happily holding them close.]

That place sounds beautiful, but also sounds awfully cold. Couldn't people have just moved or something?

[Once the cat left, Anastasia rose back to her feet, doing her best to keep herself inside the shade of the parasol.]

"Now that one is hard to explain. It is a topic that historians are looking into."

[Anastasia smiled and tilted her head to the side inquisitively.] "My name is Anastasia. What's yours?"
