Takeru-san and Dionysus-san's phones seem to be disconnected... Does that mean they went back?

[ She really hopes that's the case, since after that big mess.. she'd rather they be somewhere safe than in trouble. ]

I hope everyone is okay. I'm going to be spending time trying to repair the damage to the Kusanagi & Haller Children's Home, but I could use a little help.. [ She laughs somewhat resignedly, her smile not reaching her eyes all the way. She's a little tired. Yui moves the video to her ankle, which is wrapped up with bandages. The end of a crutch is clear near them. ] The doctor said I sprained it, but I kept looking for my friends after I tripped, so it's gotten bad enough that he said not to stand on it for too long. [ The camera moves back to her face, where she looks cheerier. ] I'm doing what I can from a chair, but if there's anyone that could help out, I'd appreciate it.

Oh! I was also wondering if there's anyone here who knows about gardening? I was thinking since the yard got somewhat damaged anyway, maybe we could make a vegetable garden that the kids living here could help out with. I only know the basics though, and since Dionysus-san is gone I don't really know anyone who's very good at it...

I got snacks for anyone who wants to help.

[ The camera closes in on a rather full bag from the grocery store. Yui isn't kidding about having snacks. ]

It's not too bad. I've been in iaido my whole life, so it's not the first time I've gotten a sprain.. just the most unexpected way I've gotten one.

[ SHe's not going to ask him to do anything dangerous or that requires skill, just help clean up things that fell off of shelves or were knocked over. ]

It was my own fault.. I was in Attleton when it started, but Loki-san had gone to that Dream Dock place, and I didn't know where Takeru-san and Dionysus-san were, so...

[ So she did the stupid thing and went looking for them. At least she knew where Anubis was at the time. ]

It was mostly Haller-san's hard work that did it, I only helped. I'll see you soon.

That's right. They're gone, aren't they?

[His voice turns hollow. He's really depressed that some of Yui's potential love interests are gone.]

You're too modest and you need to be careful.

[He ends the video, and arrives there about thirty minutes later than he intended. He got lost. He lets himself in because Yui is injured.]

Not everyone! Loki-san and Anubis-san are still here. I didn't have to look for Anubis though, since he's been living with me.

[ She hasn't mentioned Anubis to Mikoshiba yet, though.. so that might be some kind of surprise. Oh well. Video over, Yui will just be cleaning the dishes in her chair and making sure everything she can do while sitting down is done. When she hears him coming, she looks over and smiles. ]

Mikoshiba-senpai!

[How come she never mentioned Anubis before? This was important information for him! He feels like his heart's being toyed with now...

He has time to calm down after he gets lost. By the time he arrives, he looks relieved, glancing around at the damage and then at her.]

Kusanagi-san. Your reliable senpai is here to fix everything.

[ It just didn't come up.. plus she's never 100% sure she's got what's going on with him. ]

You don't have to do everything, but thank you. Really.

[He blushes at the praise and gratitude. So much that he can't speak.]

...Y-yeah, so just tell me what to do.

[ Yui picks up her crutches and positions herself so that she doesn't have to lean on her foot at all, heading over to the nearby hallway where there's a bookcase that seems to have fallen against the opposite side of the hallway. ]

Do you think you can help me pick up these books and straighten the book case? I'll take a seat on the ground and do the bottom, if you could push it back and do the top, that would be great.

Tch. Even without crutches, I'd be better suited for that.

[He'll just...work on straightening the bookcase first.]

Well you are taller than me.

[ The 19cm different certainly would help. Yui's easing herself to the floor carefully so that she can get down near the books. ]

You noticed? [He poses but it's kind of half-assed for him. Once the bookshelf is up, he starts grabbing books.]

Is there an order you wanted them in?

It's hard not to notice when I have to look up at you. [ She notices it's half-assed though. It was harder to see over the video, but something seems a little off. ]

The more mature ones should be toward the top, then the easier ones toward the bottom- are you alright, Mikoshiba-senpai?

[He stops what he's doing and stares at the book. He glances at Yui before reading over the titles.]

I'm fine. Did you pick out all these books yourself, Kusanagi-san?

Unlike..?

[ She wouldn't press him. Not yet. If he didn't want to talk.. as long as he wasn't hurting, she would be okay. And if he was.. she would go talk to the people who were close to him to try to find a way to help. ]

Some of them were donations.

Unlike no one. I didn't mean anyone because I don't know anyone like that. You're unique.

[He reads some of the summaries to get a better idea while he stacks them.]

The variety by genre is pretty good.

You're the one who said "unlike" first.

[ She's just saying. She heard that. ]

I'm glad. I haven't read them all, but I've gotten through a few of them. [ She's putting some of the easier ones on the bottom shelf, passing any of the more mature ones up to Mikorin. ]

[He frowns and looks upset, but he doesn't argue. Instead he arranges the more mature ones in a way he thinks is pretty.]

Ah...that's good.

I like how you ordered those, Mikoshiba-senpai.

[He stops what he's doing and bows his head and shuts his eyes, making a show of smirking. He does sort of like the praise.]

Of course you do. I don't know if it will last, but it looks nice like this for now. Leave the stuff that takes charm up to me, Kusanagi-san, along with everything else that I'm better at.

[ That's what she's getting out of this, anyway. The patterns and charm. It definitely seems cute to her. Even if she's not going to agree that he's better at everything else. ]

[He freezes completely and blushes so much his whole body practically steams.]

No! I mean-- It's normal! Everyone likes things that look nice, guys or girls!

There's nothing wrong with it, Mikoshiba, that wasn't what I was saying.. don't worry. I just like knowing what my friends enjoy.

[ It's very important to her. She smiles. ]

Did you know that Hades-san loves strawberry daifuku? It's rather cute.

[ Hey, if the god of the underworld can like strawberry daifuku and still be a total badass, it should make Mikoshiba feel more comfortable. ]

[The blush starts to fade before he turns pink again.]

You don't think it's weird?

[He decided to read a little more about the gods before, to try and know what he was up against in matching Yui with them. So he knows a little and it takes him by surprise.]

And you must look up to someone like Hades-san a lot! He must be really cool! Almost as cool as I am.

Mhm! He can do unexpected things, but it's really because he wants to make sure that no one else suffers because of him. Hades-san is actually a very gentle soul, and he loves looking at the stars. He bears the burdens of so many people though, so it's hard to get him to open up.. but strawberries and daifuku are his two favorites, so it's a surefire way to make him smile. He also thinks puns are to "die"fuku for. Hades-san is a lot of fun to be around, and I do look up to him.
