Takeru-san and Dionysus-san's phones seem to be disconnected... Does that mean they went back?

[ She really hopes that's the case, since after that big mess.. she'd rather they be somewhere safe than in trouble. ]

I hope everyone is okay. I'm going to be spending time trying to repair the damage to the Kusanagi & Haller Children's Home, but I could use a little help.. [ She laughs somewhat resignedly, her smile not reaching her eyes all the way. She's a little tired. Yui moves the video to her ankle, which is wrapped up with bandages. The end of a crutch is clear near them. ] The doctor said I sprained it, but I kept looking for my friends after I tripped, so it's gotten bad enough that he said not to stand on it for too long. [ The camera moves back to her face, where she looks cheerier. ] I'm doing what I can from a chair, but if there's anyone that could help out, I'd appreciate it.

Oh! I was also wondering if there's anyone here who knows about gardening? I was thinking since the yard got somewhat damaged anyway, maybe we could make a vegetable garden that the kids living here could help out with. I only know the basics though, and since Dionysus-san is gone I don't really know anyone who's very good at it...

I got snacks for anyone who wants to help.

[ The camera closes in on a rather full bag from the grocery store. Yui isn't kidding about having snacks. ]

[ Ah, Izanami... once upon a time, Yui would've been shocked to hear that someone was actually a god, but it'd been a long time since she'd been introduced to so many of them. Yui listened intently as she told her story, a look of concern on her face.

All of the gods she met seemed to have their own sad, sad stories- whether it was Takeru and the goddess whose death he was blamed for, Hades's misfortune curse, Apollon and Cassandra.. everyone had their hardships. Izanami was no exception. As she listened, Yui felt as though she had definitely come to know Izanami a little better, to understand why she sounded so angry at Takeru for disappearing.

But she wouldn't scold her for that attitude anymore. Right now wasn't a time to point out that she misdirected her anger toward Takeru anymore or continue defending him. This wasn't about him, it was about Izanami. Yui wasn't intimidated by her being a goddess, nor of it being of Creation and Death. ]

I'm sorry you had to go through that, and I think I understand why you're so angry now... Izanagi was very unfair to you- it shouldn't matter how you look, then or now. If he truly loved you, it shouldn't have mattered. I'm so sorry, Izanami-san. I can't imagine how much that must hurt.

[She had finished her screaming and crying long, long ago...so it was strange, now, to hear another's sympathy for her pain after all this time. It wasn't something she immediately knew how to respond to.

Why would Yui care about what became of her, like this?]

No one likes to look upon that which has rotted away, I should have accepted that...

[It hurt, yes, it hurt more than anything else in the world. That was something far to raw to ever be put into words.]

[ Yui gives a gentle and warm smile, meant to reassure. She's been possessed by someone who had passed before, so the idea that someone being passed means they are something ugly, to her, is ludicrous. Even if she was scared at first, Cassandra's concern and love for Apollon was real. It didn't matter if she was using Yui's body at the time or not. ]

I hope you can find a way to be happy in the future, too, Izanami-san- ah, should I still call you Kurosawa-san? If you want to keep who you are a secret, I won't tell anyone.

[A faint smile came into her face at the well-wishes, even if she did look a little embarrassed.]

...I appreciate it. I'm not certain what the future holds, especially not in this world. Still, I hope to learn more about the people here. That would make me happy.

'Kurosawa-san' would be easiest unless we are speaking alone, not many know who I really am. Although of your allies that I know of, Loki is already aware.

How did you come to know so many of the Gods, anyway?

Kurosawa-san it is. I called Takeru-san and Tsukito-san by different names too, it won't be difficult. It's easier to see you all as people instead of as the gods I read about in storybooks, too, so I can be more relaxed around you. How did you come up with your name?

[ She's glad that someone's trying to learn about humans. In fact, that actually makes the question about how she knew so many gods much easier to answer. ]

Zeus-san pulled me into his Garden with the gods after I found a sword at my family's shrine. [ She reaches to the little necklace around her neck, holding the pendant in the palm of her hand to show Izanami. ] It's the Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, though I didn't know that when I first approached it. Zeus-san shrunk it down and turned it into a necklace, like all of the gods had their limiters placed on them. I know Zeus-san, Thoth-sama, Anubis-san, Loki-san, Balder-san, Thor-san, Apollon-san, Dionysus-san, Hades-san, Takeru-san, and Tsukito-san because of this.. and I'm glad that it happened, even if it was difficult at first.

A sensible arrangement. I wanted to chose a fairly common name that would not raise too much suspicion. 'Kurosawa' - black swamp - seemed reminiscent of yomi, whilst 'Sen' - a thousand, the number of Izanagi's people I swore to destroy each day.

[It had taken a little pondering, but she was quite happy with the pseudonym now.]

Ah...the Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi itself, impressive.

[She leant a little closer to the camera to get a better look at the jewel. Strange, how an artefact like that could be shrunk so small.]

I never realised Zeus possessed power to suppress so many from so many pantheons so easily. It is a disconcerting thought. Still, Loki mentioned that Zeus' goals were to teach other Gods about humanity?

You sound as if you enjoyed their company.

[ The "Sen" part threw her a little, but she more than understood that gods and humans were not the same and they didn't live by the same rules. And she understood Izanami's story and it made sense. Izanami was a death goddess- that is part of how people die each day, it was something they all had to face. Hades dealt with the dead all the time too and had been cursed by them, and she didn't fear him. Even with such a statement about her own name, Yui knew not to be bothered. ]

It's much more impressive when it's bigger..

[ She nods. ] He is, though none of them were happy to be there at first. We worked together toward it and eventually everyone came around, even Loki. I'm the human representative that Zeus-san selected to help them learn about humans to help reconnect the gods to humanity.

I do. They're all very precious friends to me. [ She smiles warmly, but there's a slight sadness. She misses everyone. Even if she has Loki and Anubis here, she definitely misses the others too. ]
