[ at first, the silver surroundings have her thinking she collapsed in engineering with the way her mind refuses to fully cooperate. why she would have collapsed, though, is beyond her — especially when she'd last been up in one of the lexington's science labs, not down in engineering. had the ship been under attack?
slowly, she sits up, red hair cascading around her green skin. uniform, check; insignia, check; communicator— missing. it ought be holstered to her hip, but is missing along with the holster itself. and when she finally locates the box, the necklace, the device, and the pamphlet, she begins to fear the worst, because she's orion. departing from the area she woke up in, she hopes she's wrong, deciding to give the strange, archaic device a try. ]
Lieutenant Gaila to Lexington. Lexington, respond.
[ nothing... but those caverns were likely contributing to the disruption of any signals trying to leave (or enter) the planet's atmosphere. if the lexington was in orbit of this "genessia," then she'll have a better chance of contacting them if she puts some more distance between herself and this area. so she does, items in tow, looking and feeling even more alien than she did on earth amongst a sea of alien-aware humans. ]

All that you know is no longer, child.
[Faery Queens are not particularly helpful.]
no subject
We'll see about that. I'm sure my captain believes otherwise.
[ so she's beginning to notice. ]
Who is this? Who am I speaking to?
no subject
[She bristles a little at the demand and narrows her eyes. Clearly diplomacy is not in Gaila's repertoire. And just as clearly she is not Sidhe. Such pointed questions were not in their nature. And they didn't much care for answering them either.]
I have many names.
no subject
Just one will do.
no subject
You may call me Your Majesty.
[At least it gives some information. Information that will completely mislead but information.]

So, this planet is governed by a monarchy? It didn't say that in the pamphlet.
no subject
I did not say that either.
sorry for the delay; work was eating me alive.

I am Queen of Air and Darkness. Ruler of the Unseelie court. I am Winter.
no subject
I've never heard of an Unseelie Court.

No, I'm not. I'm Orion. [ said as if she expects that to be obvious. to those in her world/century, her green skin is a dead giveaway. ]
no subject
Ahh, you are not earthbound?
no subject
Not in the slightest. I'm what the earthbound like to call alien.

[Video] (So belated)
[Kirk, go home you are drunk. VERY drunk. He doesn't normally do this anymore, but when he found out that Spock is no longer in the city? He fell back on old, stupid habits. His plans to break out of this place have failed, and his logical best friend is gone. Clearly the answer is booze.]
[Video] no such thing as belated! i will backtag forever. :)
[ on the list of people she wasn't expecting to see here: jim kirk. ]
[Video] EXCELLENT
[He lifts his glass to her with a crooked smirk. Yeah, he's plastered.]
What about you? Come to cheer me up?
[Kirk slams back his drink. Good stuff.]
[Video] :D
Yes, Jim. I've been kidnapped and brought here just to cheer you up. [ /sarcasm ]
