[He's spent the last several days figuring out how to Pokemon Trainer. The creature Zoisite started with isn't exactly beautiful, but upon discovering its powers were plant-based he quickly warmed up to her. He spent most of his time training her, trying to mold her into the most obedient companion.
It's disturbingly easy. She's submissive and gentle, does whatever she's told without question. At first he was pleased, the last thing he wanted was his new pet making a fool of him, but when it bled into her battle style he was, admittedly...concerned.
She'll never be taken seriously as a fighter if she's so soft. Zoisite knew this for a fact, Kunzite has warned him that people in the Dark Kingdom would dismiss him as soft and weak due to his looks. That's why he'd trained Zoisite to be as dangerous as possible, to avoid such humiliation.
Chespin needed a master of her own. Someone bold, someone who could show her how to look more dangerous so people would think twice before underestimating her. So here he is, searching for a second grass-type.]
You've gotten quite physically strong by this point, Chespin, but hopefully not too much. This is one time I want you to restrain yourself a bit.

Perhaps, for now, he was using it as a distraction from dealing with what became of him after the spirits, and what he'd lost to return to life.
As he wandered semi-aimlessly around, he couldn't help but notice his Deputy Guardian doing much the same as he was. He should have suspected as much.]
Aha, Zoisite!
[He called over with a wave, striding over to catch up with him.
If nothing else, it would be a good chance to catch up after everything that happened.]

[Aw, that was so precious. He chuckled softly at the little Chespin, what a sweet thing. His Piplup gave the Chespin a curious look. What was this odd bowing thing??]

[Action]
[Two weeks was far longer than he thought.
Piplup was significantly less submissive, wandering over to investigate the other Pokémon personally.]
[Action]
[Chespin glances curiously at Piplup, but doesn't do much else.]
[Action]
[Yup, Piplup is going to give the Chespin a little nudge. Playtime now right?]
I trust nothing too severe happened in my absence?

Today, she was out looking for a new place to train her team. Everyone was in their Pokeballs except Eevee, who preferred to walk with her trainer. Eevee's ears perk up upon hearing another human close by. Perhaps they had Pokemon too! In her excitement, Eevee dashes away from Dairine and towards the voice. Soon enough, she bursts out of the grass near Zoisite. The Pokemon rushes over to Chespin before abruptly stopping, chatting in a cheerful manner.]
Eve! Eevee!
[If her unusually friendly mannerism wasn't enough to hint that this Pokemon wasn't wild, Dairine's voice can be heard not far away as the trainer tries to catch up to her starter.]
Don't get too far ahead, Eevee!
Action
As for Eevee, he can't help but be reminded of a cat at first. Except for the fluffy tail, but the feline features are enough to make him bite back a soft growl, remembering his experience with a certain fat cat...]

Eevee is very glad to meet another Pokemon! Their conversation doesn't get far past greetings though before Dairine jogs into view.]
Ah, there you are! [At the sound of Dairine's voice, Eevee turns and runs over to jump into her trainer's arms. The young teen gives Eevee a few pets before straightening to walk towards the two her Pokemon had found.]
Hey there. I hope she wasn't bothering you. She likes seeing new Pokemon.

She is. And very friendly! You can pet her if you'd like.
[Dairine lets Eevee hop down from her arms before looking towards the one she is chatting with.]
Hello, Chespin. [She greets the other Pokemon in Wizard's Speech, a language with had the advantage of being understood by all living creatures. To a non-wizard, no matter the species, it sounded exactly like their native language.]

And...she won't suddenly bite me or scratch my face?

[Eevee is pretty chill in that regard, if very excitable when it came to new people.]

[Zoisite, don't lie, you're a little shit through and through. Just try to be nice to the little Eevee, okay?]
no subject
Sound good to you?
[The Eevee chirps in agreement and prances over to stop in front of Zoisite. Dairine will be keeping a close eye on them though, so be nice.]

See? That wasn't so bad.

[ She gestured at her Treecko, who had already found a comfortable place to sit down. ]

[Chespin, of course, bows.]

[Of course, Chespin is totally fine with this. Not just out of obedience but because battle is fun!]

Ready, Qwill?
[ Qwill wanders just behind Porrim and then walks out a bit from her, yawning lazily. ]
no subject
Are you ready? [the pokemon nods]

[ Qwill stands up and looks at Chespin, then pulls his eyelid out and makes a sour face at Chespin. ]

Leer, Qwill! Really let them have it!
[ Qwill tightened their features up, turning the leer up a notch! ]

[The attack lives up to its name, the sound quite satisfying. Zoisite momentarily wonders if he should have taken up a whip as a weapon...nah. His elemental powers are all he needs.]
no subject
Oh dear, are you okay, Qwill?
Treecko!
Let's return the favor then, huh? Use pound!
[ Qwill springs up and dashes forward. Once he's closed the distance between him and Chespin he springs into the air, doing a summarsault and swinging his large tail down to strike the other grass pokemon. ]

Qwill, recover some HP with Absorb!
[ Qwill gestures with his two hands and pulls back, attempting to pull energy from Chespin. ]

[It's not looking great for Chespin, though. Zoisite, she has attacks besides Vine Whip. Seriously.]

Chespin, return!

Hey, how are you doing there?
Treecko!

[ Porrim smiled. ] Until next time, then!
