[It has been some time since Anastasia used the video function. Probably not since she first arrived. She keeps the camera on her face, keeping it a reasonable distance. It appears she is in front of the K&H Home for Children.]

"Good-day, everyone... Is there anyone available whom I may ask for advice? It is my Totodile. I want him to stop all this--"

[She turns around a quick moment at her pokemon, then she puts the device down. The camera sees her walking as quickly as she could to where her pokemon were.]

Action

[The girl knelt down and picked up her Totodile that was pestering her Snover. Possibly trying to bite it? Totodiles are bitey critters.]

"Toto, stop it. Snover is not food. She's not even a chew toy...."

[Anastasia struggled to hold on to the little pokemon as it wiggled about, wanting to be free to run around and bite things.]

Ah! Um--I may not have a lot of advice, but I'm understanding and talking with Mudkip really rather well. So maybe, I can explain what you need to your Totodile?

[Luke seems thoughtful as he leans into the camera. He himself only has Mudkip for now, as he's not gone out to fight a single pokemon. It's not in his nature to fight with them, after all. Mostly, he's chatted with Mudkip. Speaking of, said Mudkip is climbing Luke's shoulder cheerfully, butting her head against Luke's cheek as he talks.]

[The camera is picked up and now captures Anastasia as well as a Totodile in her other arm.]

"Hello, Luke... Are you saying you want to talk to my Toto? You are more than welcome to try anything, regardless. He is right here."

What do you want me to tell him? Um, I mean, aside that Snover isn't food.

[Luke tilts his head, peering into the camera. His voice is quiet, as he repeats what Anastasia had already asked: tell Toto that Snover is not to be eaten.

What the speech doesn't sound like isn't clear, really, as Luke talks to the Totodile. "Miss Anastasia would really like it if you didn't eat Snover, Toto. It's not very nice and she's not food."]

[ooc: I would teeellll you what Luke's talking to animals sounds like if we knew in canon what it sounded like! But we do not, so I can't! X_x;]

[Anastasia looked confused now. Did she mess up again?]

"I-I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood what you were saying. Please, can you repeat it?"

[ooc: You at least know more of his canon than I do. I just now know Luke's name and that Layton wears a fancy hat.]

[She watches the screen curiously with Pikachu sitting in her lap. The little one really likes to sit there.]

"Sakura! I'm glad to hear from you again."

[Anastasia adjusted the Totodile in her arm.]

"I'm well. It is just... I didn't anticipate a Totodile would be this energetic. And bitey..."

[She pauses glancing around the apartment. She doesn't like putting her pokemon in their balls so they are running around.]

I gave Poochina a ball to chew on and that seemed to have worked.

"A ball? Hmm... I may need something bigger for Toto. Do you know anything that may do?"

[Meanwhile, Totodile settled only just enough to lean towards Anastasia and open its mouth wide, keeping it there as if ready to bite if she moved.]

[Though if they aren't durable then they might jut fall apart.]

"No, I do not."

[Even if she did, she very likely would not give any of them up. She did wish to have one to sleep with, though.]

[Mamoru, while he was out training with his own Pokemon near the Children's Home, he had his 3 pokemon, Sandshrew, Cyndaquil, and a shiny Spoink out of their Pokeballs walking together with him, until the Sandshrew tugged at the edges at the bottom of his white toga]

Hmm, what is it, Goldy? Ah!

[Mamoru was taken by surprise after the Sandshrew has gotten his attention, and saw Anastasia's predicament and started running over to her!]

Anastasia-chan! Is everything alright here? Do you need help?

[Anastasia turned to find a familiar face coming straight for her. She clearly has her hands full, though.]

"Sir Mamoru... I..." [She pulled her long, blonde her over shoulder opposite from her Totodile to keep it from trying to chew on her hair.] "I could use some help or advice in getting my Totodile to calm down."

"I see. Hmm..."

[Mamoru closed his eyes and crossed his arms, trying to think about what should be done, until Goldy, his Sandshrew tugged at the edge of the bottom of his toga again to get his attention, which he opened his eyes to see that Goldy had something.]

"What is it, Goldy? Some kind of berry?"

[Mamoru had taken the fruit-looking thing from the Sandshrew, and he gently tossed it in Totodile's direction.]

"Maybe he's hungry? Is that what you were trying to tell me, Goldy?"

[Anastasia let her Totodile on the ground as it walked over to the fruit, picked it up and tossed it it its gaping mouth, snapping shut and devouring the tasty morsel.]

"Very kind of you, Sir Mamoru... But I think hunger is just part of it. From what I understand, Totodiles are very energetic and like to bite things."

[Anastasia looked at her Totodile as it just stared right back at her.]

"...But, at least it seems a snack calmed him down a bit."

[Mamoru smiled at the fact that it at least served as a temporary solution]

"I'm glad I could help! Maybe you should find some kind of toy or something for him to chew on when he's not hungry?"

If you're trying to train it appropriate behavior, you have to make sure he knows not to do it. If he's misbehaving, put him in his PokeBall and tell him he's going to go back inside any time he does that to your specific Snover unless you're having a practice battle.

If he gets too out of hand, I'd be happy to visit with Char. He's.. somewhat intimidating to most Pokemon.

[ Mostly because he's from the last event, so he's already a Charizard and makes it very easy to keep everyone in line. ]

[Anastasia doesn't realize that intimidation didn't always mean being scary.]

Char's not scary, he's intimidating. There's a significant difference.

[ Weiss intimidates a lot of people and is proud of both herself and Char, after all. ]

[Poor Anastasia. Satsuki can certainly relate to pets that act like pests, though her pest isn't a pet. That wasn't why she was here today, though, in fact she is just leaving the K&H home when she sees the small one.

She's decked out in what could be seen as a military-style uniform, sports a large frown, and eyebrows for days. And yet she pauses to glance at the rascal of a pokemon.]

A totodile?

[Anastasia noticed the lady in the uniform. She couldn't help but wonder if she was a captain, and if she was, what business did she have at the children's home?

It was at this time that Anastasia's Totodile slipped from its trainer's grasp and run over to Satsuki to stare at her.]

"Ah, Toto! Don't you go bothering people either..."

[The young girl chased after the Totodile, catching it and holding it like a treasured doll in both arms, hoping the pokemon didn't bother the nice, frowning lady.]

Toto. Cute.

Her gaze locks upon the crocodile-like pokemon's for a moment, until it is picked up. "It is no bother." Satsuki replies with a shake of her head, and her attention shifts to the owner. "I have found that I get along well with many of these creatures."

The one thing about kids, in her experience, is that they're easier to hold small-talk with than some adults. A glance to the snover follows. "Quite the collection so far. Are you enjoying yourself?"

[Anastasia remained bashful at first, half expecting to lectured about her handling of pokemon. She eased up significantly when such a lecture never came.]

"Oh... Yes, I am. They are such interesting creatures. I could even say Toto and Snover are a blessing in a way."

[Anastasia gently let Totodile back on the ground so it can interact with her Snover. It seems the little alligator burned up enough energy by now. She then glanced up at Satsuki.]

"...My name is Anastasia. You have already met Toto and... I never could think of a name for Snover."

[Satsuki does enjoy giving a good lecture, but it doesn't seem she'll be giving one today. After looking to Snover again, she nods.]

They are rather fascinating; unfortunately nameing is not exactly my area of expertise, but I would be interested to know why they are a blessing for you.

[Well the nameing thing isn't entirely true, but she doubts Anastasia would appreciate a name of a japanese poet. She offers a hand to shake, and the girl may notice a belt-line of pokeballs within Satsuki's jacket.]
