NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY POKEMON EDITION
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Pokemon Fever
It looks like Genessia is going through another invasion! However, this invasion is much more friendly! And familiar as well. Some of our readers that were fortunate enough to have been here for long enough might recall the first time Pokemon found their way into our humble cities. These creatures are friendly for the most part and they came in all shapes and sizes and varying levels of cuteness. But don’t let those cute ones fool you, some of them pack quite a punch!
You will see them all over the place. Just be careful when you are walking through tall grass or you will suddenly find yourself in a battle! Unless that is what you are looking for. Pokemon can easily be captured by battle them until they are weak. Then you just throw a handy dandy Pokeball at it and you suddenly have a new friend!
Some Trainers make careers out of capturing these creatures. And with over 700 of them roaming around, those people are certain to be kept busy for a long time to come. So you aspiring trainers should try your hands a catching as many as you can. Just try not to become too much of a Pokemaniac!
SkyRocketing Trouble!
The nefarious group known as Team Rocket has been spotted around Genessia! With Pokemon roaming about every city, it was only a matter of time before they found their way here. This group is known for committing crimes related to the kidnapping and theft of Pokemon.
It goes without saying that you should be careful while you are out exploring and trying to capture new Pokemon. Team Rocket will have no issue with trying to take both your old and new Poke friends from you. Only the low level Grunts seem to be roaming around, but don’t drop your guard. Their mere presence here means you should always be prepared for trouble when you are out!

Wacky Weather – In Genessia City, the weather seems to be going crazy. It can be a normal summer day when suddenly a Blizzard stirs up! Or it will start raining when there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! Not to mention sometimes a Sandstorm will crop up! It is believed that this could be do to a Pokemon with Weather related moves. Whatever the cause, the citizens need this bizarre weather stopped! Level 3 payment will be given to anyone that can fix the problem.
(Extra Reward: Whoever completes this can also have a level 10 Castform, which is the Pokemon causing the problem.)
Attleton
Zubats in The Belfry – A citizen of Genessia City has reported a large swarm of Zubats taking up residence in their chimney and their attic. They are in need of someone coming to clean out all of these Pokemon so they can have their home back! Accomplishing this task will net you a Level 2 Payment.
(Extra Reward: Whoever completes this can also have a level 10 Zubat.)
Fayren
Ransacked – A local farmer in Fayren has come out to his fields in the morning only to find that his crops are either being dug up or eaten! It seems it’s the work of a Pokemon. The Farmer wants it to stop, otherwise his entire Fall Harvest will be ruined! Level 1 Payment is giving for completion of this job.
(Extra Reward: Whoever completes this can also have a level 10 Zorua, which is the Pokemon causing the problem.)
Nova City
Power Pokage: Two pokemon named Plusle and Minun have been seen running wild in shops and buildings and causing vast blackouts by simply using an electric attack and over powering the circuit. Find the couple of electric pokemon and bring them back for a shocking level 3 payment.
(Extra Reward: Whoever completes this will be able to bring the pair of Pokemon onto their team. Both Plusle and Minun will be at level 10.)
Everglade
Haunting Fun: Groups of ghost pokemon have been reported to be tricking and scaring people and having a good laugh about it. Find them and get them to stop for a level 2 payment.
(Extra Reward: Whoever completes this can also have a level 10 Phantump, which is one of the poking stirring up trouble.)
