[There's a very confused woman on the video, flipping through some of the information she grabbed on the way out of the bay. Most residents could recognize the look of confusion.]

Well, this isn't where I expected to find myself today. Anyway, name's Alex. That hologram was very informative, so whoever set that up, thanks.

Guess I should start looking for a place to stay until I find something more permanent. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

There's a number of motels in Genessia that should be affordable with the stipend you've been given until you can get your footing. Is there anything you might need help with?

Yeah. Woke up in that puddle an hour or so ago. Trying to get my bearings before doing too much more.

Know of any jobs for a big city detective?

Mr Haller may be able to see to that. He's put together quite the organization and may have use of your skills. Though I suspect you may be looking into more local law enforcement?

[She shrugs. She doesn't know what to think at this point. Keeping an open mind and all.]

It's an organization for combating some of the larger-scale problems that tend to crop up here.

You've been brought to another reality where most of the population isn't really... well. Real. Ghosts are probably quite commonplace here.

Probably not. But years as a detective keeps me from believing half the people I meet.

Skepticism is a benefit in your line of work, to be sure. And what has happened in my version of earth may not be the same as yours. However, at worst you get a vacation around the holidays.

As far as I can tell anyone who comes from another world does, at least. There's something some people were saying about people not being real if they didn't have one, but no one could actually tell me why they thought that or give me anything even close to proof of it or, you know, even explain what they meant. So personally, I'm going with it just being a worlder-or-offworlder thing.

I have found the inn relatively comfortable. Though, I suppose which of the "portals" (as they are called) you prefer is dependent upon from whence you came.

We're trapped and there's no way to get out. I suppose I'm lucky in the sense there's someone here from my home. But if not, some of the people seem tolerable. Others, not so much.

I think whoever was the hologram is the person that set it up.

Also there are plenty of hotels and inns. Some that even give discounts for new arrivals. Just depends on which city you want to live in.

[Alex bites back a chuckle, that's not what she meant, but whatever. The woman is being nice.]

It depends on what exactly you want to know about them. You mean what they are like or how they are different from one another?

Both. But I'll start with what they're like, if you have the time.

Well genessia is simple as you can tell just by looking. At least simple compared to say Fayren which is something one would thing of when it comes to fairy tails and such. You have Everglade which has vampires and werewolves and those types of super natural. Then Nova City which is more you furtistic setting. The only place I think is kind of similar to Genessia is Attleon.

Hello, my name is Hikari. As for places you can find a hotel, but finding a permanent place is actually a lot easier than what it might have been where you were from.

It would also depend on which city would most interest you. Always a good place to start when finding a place.

Well, I'm from Manhattan. [Close enough, anyway.] So I'm sure nothing is probably exactly like that.

I've never been there... So I don't know what it is like.

Pokemon are these creatures that appeared. We can fight with them and bond with them if one wants to.

No. They come in all shapes and sizes really. They are very interesting. I'm sure you'll come across one.
