[ The feed turns on with Tiara sitting in front of the feed and Cui on her lap. No, Cui isn't a pokemon either. ]
Well, it would seem that I, too, have acquired a number of these poke-mon creatures, although it has taken me some time to give my latest a proper name. [ She turns the feed around a bit to an Absol paying the feed little mind. ] After much deliberation, I have finally decided.
Her name is Lianna Alyssandra Desdemona Yessica, or, to simplify matters, "Lady" for short. Regrettably, it took me much longer than I intended to finalize her name, and regrettably due to my extended deliberation I have lost a bet that I agreed to with my companion. ... As a result I must serve him, for one week, for a change. Much as I am loathe to cooperate, I am not one to back out of a deal.
I find myself mildly curious if others have involved themselves in similar 'bets' in the past? No matter, failing that, I wish to know of the best places one can acquire fashionable and high quality attire in the event my own clothing becomes torn or dirty. It it my guess that those who have been here longer than I may have a better idea of such. Money is no object.
[ Action ]
[ There's just no way this was going to end well. There was also no way that Fang wasn't going to gloat about winning his bet with her. And for a whole week. ugh. Well, she was a lady of her word. That didn't mean she wasn't a little peeved about it, especially knowing that her Absol had deliberately sabotaged her for her own amusement. Both Absol and Cui were sitting side by side, watching Tiara pace small circles until Tiara glanced at the pokemon and the fairy. ]
This is your fault, you realize.
"Absol.." "Cui!~"
[ Tiara siiiighed, giving both a pat on the head. Well she wasn't about to back out now - surely Fang wouldn't gloat too much right? Well he was about to get quite a greeting to say the least. ]

Unfortunately, like our situation being in this place, there does not seem to be anyone to actually complain to about the matter. I certainly would be very upset if something like that were to happy once the Goddess was revived.
[ Cui nodded with a 'Cui!' for emphasis. Stayin' bonded for life yo! ]
no subject
yeah that would be real shitty.
no subject
Perhaps I should have captured one for you before they disappear. [ Yea, no, but she couldn't help but poke fun at her 'temporary master'. ]
no subject
[Oh that was quite the slip up and the faint wince and flinch only made it more suspicious.]
no subject
What does that mean...? [ For that matter it did remind her of when she had noted how strange it was for Eryn to not manifest herself for this long. ]
no subject
T-That's well you know how much of a handful Eryn can be. So taking care of one of these Pokemon would be too much for a lazy guy like me.
no subject
Well... I suppose that is true. ... speaking of Eryn, I have not seen her in all of the time I have been here... that is peculiar in itself. In fact, I feel as if you have attempted to change the subject each time I mention her.
[ SUSPICIOUS. ]
no subject
That's just your imagination!
no subject
Is it?
[ She placed the teacup down with a tiny -clink-, studying him for a moment with narrowed eyes. Hmmmmmmm. ]
Very well. In that case... [ She leaned forward towards him in her seat. ] Look me in the eye and tell me there is nothing strange about your behavior regarding Eryn, and Eryn's absence.
[ Stare into her pretty pink/red eeeeeyes, Fang. Can you still lie to her face? ]
no subject
W-well that's...
[He stared into those eyes. He remembered the life fading from them, remembered who had stolen that light from them...The same person who had slain him and forced Eryn to do what she did. He closed his eyes, mentally asking Eryn for a way out but not even the Fairy had any ideas for this situation. So in the end the charade cad to come to a close.]
It's...something that happened in our future.
no subject
Well, at least one of the things.
Tiara blinked, sitting back in her chair. ]
Our future...? What do you mean..?
no subject
When we went to unseal the goddess....we were found unworthy of her power. Immature. That was when Sherman and his goons jumped us to take the Faith Drop. In that fight I....I guess you could say I...died.
no subject
Y.. you cannot be serious... [ Tiara said slowly, a lump in her throat. Thinking about him being dead left her ... very uncomfortable. Strangely upset. Maybe not so strangely, he was a friend after all. ]
If...If this is your idea of a joke... I do not find it humorous in the least...! [ How can he be dead and yet be sitting in front of her with tea. Yes I do find this statement ironic, why do you ask. ]
no subject
[Though he was still keeping something else secret from Tiara. Something even more serious.]
The reason I'm alive right now is because....Eryn joined her life to mine. So now she's in here with me.
[He says and taps his head.]
no subject
She... she did such a thing...? [ She didn't know it was even possible for a fairy to bond themselves to a human that way. ]
I...
Then...that is why she has not appeared before us...
no subject
[Well he was honestly quite very dead so his opinion was void by default.]
Exactly. And all those times you saw me wincing or flinching. That was Eryn being noisy to me about whatever I said or did at the time.
no subject
[ But who was worse off? She's about to snark about that, when a thought occurred to her and she glanced down. ]
... however... no matter my feelings regarding Eryn... I... am glad that she did.
no subject
She said she didn't do it for you but you're welcome anyway.
no subject
Well, at least there is one more fortunate thing about this. I will no longer have to look upon that unfortunate face or hear her voice. [ Maybe she should start buying some headache medicines. ] It will finally be peaceful.
[ For her. Cui would facepaw if he could, instead shaking his head. ] "Cuuuuuuiii.." _SIGH_
no subject
Thanks for that. Now my ears are going to ring all day cause of you.
no subject
Good, You are most welcome. Perhaps next time you will not deceive me.
[ Bad Master! BAD MASTER. *fingerwaggle* ]
no subject
[That and he didn't want to worry her given she's from a short while in the past compared to him.]
no subject
[ Not that she's saying she -would- and all. Since... that would be admitting a wee bit too much there. Still, she managed to avoid comenting that it would be a shame to lose such a servant. Just. Barely. ]
no subject
[Depending on perspective. His head was still ringing a little.]
Well that's that. I left the tea waiting a bit.
no subject
Allow me to prepare another. [ She collected his tea cup, turning to head back towards the kitchen area, pausing to glance over her shoulder. ]
You are certain that is everything...?
[ There wasn't anything else he was hiding was there? Well, she turned back to tend to brewing the tea anyway. ]
