[Sakura’s expression is solemn, her cheeks stained with tears that have dried and since been wiped away. A lose strand of brown falls in front of her vision as her head bows forward. Her light brown hair is marred with spots of blood; the color dark against the pale skin of her cheek. Behind her are bars and with the video positioned as it was it’s obvious that she’s in some sort of cage.]

I’m so sorry everyone… [She’s whispering, the weight of her sin bearing down on her with each soft syllable.]

I didn’t mean for this to happen.

[Fresh tears rose to the corner of her eyes as she slowly lifted her head. Emerald orbs glistening as they stare into the device.] One of my feathers has appeared here… They are pieces of my soul and they have tremendous power but I wasn’t able to retrieve it in time… Fai… he… [He’s gone and Sakura knows nothing of life and death in Genessia.]

The man’s name is Gilgamesh. He’s taken my feather and with it...

I’m sorry.

[She doesn’t know what Gilgamesh plans to do but she knows that it can’t be good.]

[Sakura sees the familiar face on the screen and feels her heart wrench in her chest.]

I don't know. I'm in a cage but... I don't know where it is.

[The metal bars behind her gleam in the soft lighting.]

{ As much that only makes his concern for her grow, it's unhelpful. He'd try to get a little more information out of her; it's a good thing this 'Gilgamesh' didn't take away her necklace. }

Listen closely. Can you hear anything nearby? Voices? The outside? Can you feel any drafts?

[When Thrall appears on the screen, he's shirtless, sweaty, and a modest hut is in the final stages of construction behind him. But fire is in his eyes and clouds are rolling in overhead with alarming speed. When he speaks, its as calm as he can muster but the rolling thunder overhead seems to be indicative of his mood.]

Where was the feather when this Gilgamesh found it?

[She remembers the man from before as well as trying to make him that special pie. She's a little sad that she hadn't gotten it to him though it is just something else to lament.]

[He nods and turns away from the camera to start setting up warding totems around his hut to keep anyone from disturbing it, and then moving to where his armor sat almost in what looked like a makeshift shrine.]

Very well. I will consult the spirits and find you. If that feather is part of your soul, I should be able to locate you fairly easily.

[Anastasia appeared on the screen, she looks deeply saddened and struggling to keep her own calm. She spoke in a hushed tone, being careful not to accidentally cause Sakura to get caught by her captor.]

"Sakura? Can you hear me? I... I'm sorry I can't do anything to help you... But, all I can offer is this prayer from my home... If you accept it, at least..."

[She paused for a moment... Then continued in a hushed tone still.]

"God-Queen help us, for we stand against the Darkness that threatens. Give us the strength to rise and fight the Darkness. Let us speak of our
Defiance against the evil. Protect us from speaking the name of our enemy, for doing so will give it strength. Truly, beneath our God-Queen, I and my fellow man shall not and will not fear man or beast even as we march against them in battle for our freedom. We, her children, know that every step of the way, we are guided and protected by our beloved Mother, Pankosmia, Queen of Gods."

[Sakura closes her eyes letting her friends words wash over her. Tears begin to spill down her cheeks.]

Thank you Anastasia.

[She's happy that she has friends like her and for the moment she doesn't feel as if she's completely alone.]

[Zelos was just browsing through the videos appearing on the communicator during his lunchbreak. Fai hadn't turned up to work for once, and he was getting pretty anxious by this point.

Of course, his fears were proved justified when he saw Sakura's video.]

The Hell's going on...?

[He could feel his hands shaking, but tentatively he opened a video of his own, trying to hide the trembling in his voice. Tried his best to make it look like this was no big deal, he could handle it, but he doubted he was fooling anyone.]

Sakura...What happened, hunny?

[Perhaps the petname was to calm his nerves, perhaps it was to make light of this mess. It was hard to tell with Zelos involved.

The other question died before it even left his mouth:

[The light tone of his voice grips Sakura's heart like a vice. She knows that he's worried about Fai but she has nothing happy to say.]

Fai is... [Her fingers move over her lips as tears stream down her cheeks.] He was killed.

[Her voice broke as she spoke, her body trembling at the memory of Fai in her arms.]

It's all my fault.

[Her head falls forward, guilt and regret swelling within her small frame.]

[He couldn't believe it, he didn't want to believe it. Denial was something of a specialty of his, but as she said those words--he knew he couldn't just happily pretend it wasn't real.

More than anything, he felt cold. The room was freezing him right through as if every heatsource had immediately failed. It took everything he had to stop himself shivering, but he imagined the feed still looked jittery.]

H-huh. Killed. Right.

[His voice still sounded light -- too light, to the point it almost seemed hollow. Weightless.]

[Mamoru was together with Anastasia in the K&H Children's Home when they had both seen Sakura's transmission. Mamoru had realized he was going to have to do something, someone had obtained some kind of dangerous power, someone died trying to stop this person, and this girl might be in some kind of trouble, and if she was a friend to Anastasia...Mamoru's green eyes burned with Determination, but still out of concern for this girl he had never met before on the other side of the video feed.]

Are you hurt?

[Mamoru began to grow more an more concerned, and when she noticed this girl was in some sort of cage, his eyes began to become more determined as the green gem necklace of his began to glow with circuits and a "G" symbol appearing inside of it.]

The G-Stone... it's speaking to me...

[Mamoru glanced down at the G-Stone, sadly, but turned to the video camera adjusting his toga and shoulderpads as he did so.]

If you're a friend of Anastasia-chan's...I'll save you. Even if I have to give up my life...I'll come rescue you. That is what the guidance of my G-Stone tells me!

It also tells me this Gilgamesh...I have to confront him... I may not have the power to defeat him... but...

[Mamoru turned sad for a moment, before his G-Stone glew more and his eyes turned fierce and angry, though this time with tears in them.]

I can't let him hurt or kill anyone else! Absolutely not!

[Mamoru's determination and courage shining brightly, caused him to transform. He glew bright green, his white translucent fairy-like wings showing and he looked with a serious glance in his normally very emotional and compassionate green eyes.]

I'm going to fight!

[Sakura watches the screen, her eyes widening as the green glow encases him. She doesn't understand what's going on but she knows the powers that he'd be fighting. If Fai couldn't win...]

Please don't... don't come... don't fight.

[She doesn't want to be responsible for someone else's death as well as Fai's.]

I don't want you to get hurt.

[She doesn't have to know him to care. Sakura cares if only by meeting someone once before.]

I understand your concern...

[Mamoru closed his eyes, thinking back to all the struggles, his comrades that sacrificed themselves in that faraway battle in the Trinary Solar System, and the things they always taught him.]

I have to try. I only fight if it's neccecary, and if he's already killed someone... I can't forgive him!

I have to not give up, not on you, not on Anastasia-chan, and certainly not on the people this person has hurt and killed!

If I don't, the G-Stone will keep speaking to me until I do. My courage demands that I try! I have to save you, even if I can't win. I can't just leave you trapped! I can't let anyone else suffer and die!

I learned from my friends, to never give up, to fight to the very end against those who do horrible things and threaten my home, even if it's hopeless, I have faith in Victory. That's a Brave Hero!

Please, just don't give up hope. Have faith in the courage flowing within me.

My feather was... [She's not going to say stolen in case Gilgamesh was listening.] ...found by someone who wishes to use it's power.

[Sakura doesn't know what he wishes to do.]

[She doesn't need to say stolen, because the girl seems sad without the feather, and if someone else is trying to use something that doesn't belong to them...then that's stealing.]

[Dairine isn't as surprised as she wishes she were. The last pocket world she was stuck in had its own share of crazy violent folk. Some were thanks to the castle, others lived with the rest of the residents until they revealed themselves. She fiddles with the video options until she gets it to what she assumes is private mode. No need to let this Gilgamesh overhear her.]

No need to apologize. Do you need any help getting out of there?

[She sees those bars around her. However, Dairine suspects she'll need more information if she's going to be any help at all.]

[Sakura shakes her head. She doesn't want people to risk getting her out, not if it means their life. She only knows that she has to warn them, like Fai asked of her.]

I don't know where I am. I think he teleported me someplace.

[She has no hope to be found, except by her father.]

It has amazing power and it can do many different things. It all depends on who controls it. [She's seen it change the weather or control a world, it's been described as an endless power source.]

That depends. It's been described as an endless power source. I know that it's magical in nature though what it does depends on its wielder. I've seen it create storms and give power to other forms.

[She doesn't know this boy and she isn't sure what information he might seek. She glances around making sure that her captor isn't in view before she continues.]

Sakura-chan... [Yuuko's voice is calm, soft even, but the fact that she didn't turn on video clearly means she's not happy. She just refuses to let it show.

Someone took one of the feathers, now that is bad. And Fai wasn't able to prevent it, that's even worse. She doesn't even need to ask how he is, she can guess he got killed defending Sakura and the feather. Fortunately death is not permanent in Genessia. But it's never a pleasant experience anyway.]

Don't worry, my dear. We're coming to help you.

[Hearing the familiar voice lifts Sakura's spirit. Yuuko is the only one who really knows what's going on, hopefully she can stop others from rushing to their deaths.]
