[The lid to the pod slowly unseals...then cracks off of its hinges, kicked off by a jutting boot from within the cocoon. The lid flips through the air, crashing off of the ceiling and rebounding into the water with a noisy clanging splash. The boot, attached to a strong and shapely leg, goes back down, and the curvy blonde inside of the pod sits up. She yawns. With a few blinks, she smiles, and looks down at the box. She gives it a cursory examination along with its contents, but doesn't bother doing more than skimming the pamphlet before she hoists herself out of the pod. Both boots hit the shallow water, splashing her legs as she strides for the exit. She can read the brochures later; she'd rather get a look at where she is with her own eyes.]

[Genessia seems to be consumed in a cold but gentle rain. Yang peeks out, holding out her hand to feel the drops on her fingers. Crummy weather! She looks at her box.]

Well...better than nothing, I guess!

[Holding the box over her head as a makeshift umbrella, she dashes off to the left. It feels like it's been years since she stretched her legs, and she's eager for the exploration and exercise. She's also eager to find someplace warm and dry.]

[Some time later, Yang's grinning face appears on the screen. Her wild mass of thick blonde hair, wet from the rain, is being rubbed idly with a towel.]

I'm guessing none of you guys would know how to get to Vale from here.

[Yeah, she knows she's not going anywhere anytime soon.]

So tell me.

[She drops the towel in her lap and fluffs out her hair, then settles her chin into her hand, grinning.]

What does a girl do for fun around here?

You could always try visiting your sisters apartment!

Your sister who is so glad you're here and missed you so much!

[Even though she has no actual idea how long it's been since she last saw her. The last few days that she's been awake have felt long enough though.]

That's the only line of the song I actually know. (Except 'ooo oo oo-oo oooo')

[Yang blinks in surprise, lifting her head out of her hand.]

What are you doing here? Don't tell me you woke up in one of those weird pods too!

[She doesn't seem all that distressed about it, though. In fact, she's grinning pretty widely because yay! Little sister!]

Yep, it's me!

[Se let's out a little sigh of relief, oh man was she happy to see her sister.]

You mean the creepy pods in the dark, cold, wet and creepy cave place? Because I woke up there a few days ago.

Are you still there? I can come get you!

I'm at some restaurant. I asked the waiter for a towel to help me dry off.

[And there he is to take it back now that she's done with it. Yang smiles sweetly, passing it back.]

I hope the weather isn't always so wet around here! But hey, if you've got an umbrella, come meet me for lunch! I'll treat.

This is probably the worst it's been since I got here. For the most part the weathers been alright.

Lunch? Sure! Where about is this restaurant and I'll be there in jiffy?

Then we can get you set up in my apartment or maybe I can ask if we can move into one with two bedrooms.

[Because you're totally moving in with your sister, right Yang?]

[She holds up her map and points to the spot.]

Oh yeah? Where are you holed up?

[Yang totally doesn't mind moving in with her sister. Then they can have all of the late night chats. And pillow wars.]

...It might actually take her a little while to get there, she just might get a little lost on her way there. That and she didn't own an umbrella. So she got kid of soaked along the way until she picked one up. It's a nice red one with black wolves decorating it.

Eventually she will make it to the bar and poke her head in, looking around desperately for any signs of her sister. Despite the umbrella, she's still pretty wet.]

Is he now. That's lucky, isn't it?

[Grin grin tease grin. She lifts her hand to wave before the connection is cut.]

[When Ruby arrives, she'll notice that another menu has been added to the table. Yang hasn't bought anything to eat yet, but she's halfway through some sort of fruity drink, and there's an empty glass next to her elbow. She looks up, delighted to see her little sister, and pushes herself out of the booth.]

Ruby!

[She envelops the younger girl in a fierce hug, then steps back, brow inclined as she grins.]

Only you could bring an umbrella and still get wet. I'll order you a towel.

[Blake is not going outdoors on a day like this. Nope. No way. One a day with this much water falling out of the sky, she's holed up in the apartment she'd laid claim too and waiting out the weather sitting in her window.

And that's about when she finally decides to take another look at this communicator thing, and blinks in surprise at finding a familiar face.]

[Yang's glad to see another familiar face, that's for sure. Is the whole team here? She's a little less subdued with her quiet friend than she is with Ruby, knowing that Blake isn't the happy chatty type.]

You look cozy. Settling in all right?

[She's fairly adaptable. Plus, checking out the reading material helped.]

When did you get here?

About an hour ago. Not long! Why? You been here longer? Ruby said she has her own apartment!

[She sighs.]

They grow up so fast.

Yeah, we're meeting up for lunch. Why don't you join us? The more the merrier!

[That gets a hesitant glance toward the window. On the one hand, she really is happy to have friends here. But on the other hand....]

[It takes her a moment to make the connection. Blake hates water. Cats hate water. Blake has...cat ears... When it clicks, Yang grins.]

Oh my gosh, you hate water, don't you? THAT IS SO CUTE.

[That line about Jaune? That's pretty much when she decided that conversation was over.]

Ya-ngh!

[Ruby doesn't have a chance to react. She hears her sister call her name and before she knows it she's trapped in her sisters hug.]

Too tight! Too tight!

[Okay. Deep breath and another deep breath. She's good.]

I picked up on the way here so I wouldn't be more wet!

[She'll sigh.]

[Yang flags down the waiter again and picks up her menu.]

Did you know Blake's here too? She spotted my video. We'll see if she braves the rain to join us for lunch.

[She's not counting on it happening, but she hopes their teammate decides to pop up just the same.]

[Jaune is trying to get used to his new place, which is weird for him. He hadn't expected to live alone for a while.

He hadn't picked up actual groceries yet though, and had been living off of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Hearing a broadcast on his little phone, he picked it up.]

Hey I know them. That's Yang! Ah~ My fellow blond has followed me even here~ [His swooning probably isn't serious. Maybe. Hopefully. In any case, he dials her.]

Yo! Yang!

[Blake just grimaces, knowing there's nothing she can say now that won't just add fuel to the fire, figuratively speaking. Instead.]

I'll... I'll think of something.

[Yang just laughs loudly, which turns into sniggering as she slaps her hands on the edge of the table. Cuuuuute!]

You don't have to push yourself, you know that. Why don't we get our meals to go and come to you?

Jaune! This is a surprise.

[It's totally not a surprise, since Ruby already told her, but eh! She beams, folding her arms onto the table and leaning forward to grin into her communicator.]

How are you holding up? Been here long?

[And Ruby will ask for a towel when he shows up, not too long after she'll have one in hand and will use it to dry herself off.]

She is? I had no idea.

[She feels a little bad about that, maybe she should have tried looking for her.]

It is raining pretty hard out there, but I don't see why she wouldn't she?

[She's all grins as she leans forward, violet eyes gleaming.]

She's so cute! I told her if she didn't feel up to it, we'd just get her some take out. I'm curious to see what her apartment is like.
