[ Sometimes, you just have to take a break from the battles to goof off. Lucy was puttering about in her room, folding up a pair of cloaks and taking another one off its hook, draping the navy fabric over her shoulder. With Natsu out of the room at the moment - probably getting a shower or something, Lucy grinned into the video feed. ]

Hey, if you're seeing this, I need you to do me a favor if you wouldn't mind; if my partner Natsu is looking for me, don't tell him where I am. [ A giggle. ] That's cheating!

[ She winked at the feed with a grin. leaving that open to guildmates and others, Lucy left the message there. Well he probably won't need it anyway - dragonslayer senses and all that, but there was a chance he'd run into someone anyway, whether or not they were from the guild. ]

[ Action ]
[ Feed finished, Lucy proceeded to summon Gemini into the room. ]

It's been a while, you two - you know what to do, right?

"Are you sure this is a good idea, Lucy?"

[ Gem and Mini weren't so sure - but it had potential for hilarity and backfiring messily, so they could easily get behind that. And after one POOF, the spirit had taken the form of a towel-clad Lucy. Lucy immediately pointed them to get dressed in one of her outfits because like fun was she letting them walk around outside like THAT.

Minutes later, she was ducking out of the shared apartment, only leaving a note behind on the door reading: 'Bet you can't find me~~! <3' ... she was so going to get the jump on him this time! She wrapped herself up in the invisibility cloak she gained, immediately vanishing from sight and sprinted out of the apartment building with Gemini quick to follow behind and ready to throw off Lucy's trail. Though Lucy might bump into others along the way - literally in some cases. ]

Hahaha yeah I can see Nev putting it on and tripping over the longer bits while trying to get the jump on Justyne.

Hmmm, you're right, he would do that... [ Thoughts brewing in her evil little mind. It would certainly be an excellent way to scare the kids for Halloween. ]

[ Lucy muffles a quiet groan into the cloak. Dat ego. And the fact that it isn't even untrue just makes it worse. ]

Suddenly I'm worried about how he'll turn out when he gets older. [ She's joking, really. ]

[Yup that ego is so big it's generating gravity.]

[ Lucy palmed her face, muttering. ]

[ Helplessly, hopelessly, forever trapped. She was okay with that. She glanced away, hiding a grin at the thought, immediately toning it down when she responded with a giggle. ]

Well if I knew then what I know now --

[ She trailed off with a laugh, knowing damn well if she knew then what she knew now she'd make the same decision. Heck, she'd look for him. ]

[he's enjoying this so much. After all it's too fun to tease Lucy around like this.]

[ She was pretty sure he was amused, but he was playing it off so innocent she couldn't call him on it. Ooh! What a.....a... dragon! And the more he feigned ignorance, the more she got puffycheeked at him. ]

[This time he cracks and breaks out into laughter though mostly because of her puffy cheeks rather than her example of how he was acting.]

[ Footstomp! Hands on hips! Puffiest cheeks that ever puffed. Okay she's all set. Though she's probably not nearly as peeved as she's acting. ]

And just what is so funny now!?

[And that whole setup earns her even more laughing. To the point that he's almost doubling over holding his stomach.]
