My name is Erza Scarlet and I represent the Fairy Tail Guild. We are a group of wizards, identifiable by this mark...

[She shows her left arm which sports a small stylized fairy emblem.]

In light of last week's attack, from today onward we shall be offering the services of our guild in exchange for proper compensation. [She doesn't say 'money' because she would be okay with being paid in strawberry cake. The others probably want money though.]

If you need something done please don't hesitate to submit a request. We will take on jobs both simple or difficult, however we reserve the right to turn down any request at our discretion. As a lawful guild we will not accept assassination contracts or any other task which would violate the laws of this world.

If you have any questions, I will do my best to answer.

[ There's a few moments of silence. He wasn't sure how well Fairy Tail would respond to this, but he had to try. ]

[She knows that voice well enough by now to guess who it is. Erza hesitates; she's almost afraid to find out what Zeref would want, but curiosity overrides her caution.]

That's correct, provided that they have the means to offer payment.

[ He's never had any need for currency - at least not for a very long time - but that is different, here. ]

I can, if need be. [ Too bad he doesn't have the time or materials to write a book capable of summoning Franmalth. He knows his way around a checkbook. ]

[She takes a deep breath and switches to private.]

[She promises nothing else!]

[This perks Wily's interest. If he hires these people to post up some of his campaign signs it'll make him look like less of a jerk AND give work to the people around here.

[It's that guy that gave Lucy a weird vibe. Well Erza's not about to turn down work because of a bad feeling.]

[Hey, he offered to help! Sure he plans to plant bombs inside their guild while he helps, but it's still helping!]

Well as you have probably already heard, I'm looking to become Guardian of Nova City. To do that, I need votes.

I'd like to hire your guild to hang these signs up in Genessia and all the sub-cities.

[He'll hold up a "Vote Wily" sign with a stylized W in the background.]

[ Zeref takes another pause, thinking of how he will phrase this to Erza. He knows she won't trust him, but as the highest-ranking member of Fairy Tail here, that sort of makes her the de facto leader for now. ]

I want to be informed if any of my demons appear, here. I need to know if being summoned by anyone but myself will affect them.

Ahh, more Wizards.

[It isn't as strange a request as Erza was expecting. In fact watching out for any of Zeref's demons was already a priority; telling him about it would be the only difference.]

A job like that would require a significant amount of upkeep. Just how do you intend to pay?

Erza guessed that this request would have to do with the Nova City Guardian election. She's only met one guardian and so doesn't know the extent of the powers granted to them, so part Fairy Tail would remain neutral for the moment. Still, a job is a job.]

All of the cities? That's quite a bit of work.

[What she's really asking is "Can you afford that?"]

You don't seem surprised.

[As most people seem to be when hearing about wizards.]

It is, Are you saying that you aren't up for the task?

I suppose I could just get my robots to do the job for me, but I thought I might generous enough to employ you lot.

[Hey, he stole more than enough money before this whole "pretending to be good thing" to pay for this.]

[Stealing money? Sounds like a politician already.]

And having people do it would be less intrusive than sending machines, would it not?

[Well at least Erza seems to at least have half a brain, that's better than most of the people he's dealt with here.]

While I still have you, I spoke with one of your "teammates" about constructing a building for you. I'm just following up to see if you still need assistance.

[I think this is longest Wily has gone without insulting someone. Good job Erza.]

There is hardly need for surprise. Beyond the decision of general announcement anyway. The White Council frowns on such practices in our human world.

In Earthland, our world, wizard guilds are a fundamental keystone of society. We make a living by helping those who cannot use magic.

I assume the same isn't true in your world?

Humans are generally less accepting of Magic. If you can make them believe it possible. [She flicks a wrist as though throwing something away.] There are purgings if they get stirred up and frightened. Inquisitions, burnings. [Fae aren't terribly worried about it, but Wizards have more of a vested interest.]

[She doesn't trust Wily as far as she can throw him; and she could throw him pretty far.]

Then we will accept your request. That will be $1500 per city, to be paid immediately upon completion of the job.

[She smiles politely.]

Yes, Lucy did inform me of your offer. I'd like begin construction as soon as resources are available. We've done this before so any technical expertise is unnecessary, but we won't turn away any assistance you can provide.

[We'd turn away your bombs though.]

Such a reaction seems natural; people fear what they can't or don't want to understand. That doesn't make it any less horrible...

Hm... it looks like I might have some competition tracking monsters in Fayren.

[That was fine by her though. It just gave extra incentive for somebody else on her team to get a job already.]

... You're the one who helped Ruby in the fight, right? She mentioned knowing a few people from Fairy Tail.

A little competition will keep us all in top form, don't you agree?

[She smiles.]

Ah yes. You're a friend of hers? I hope she only had pleasant things to say about our guild.

Agreed.

[She wasn't particularly one to turn down a challenge either. Plus, it might be helpful to have somebody around to work with if a job proved too big. That offer would wait until she had a better idea of who these people were herself.]

She was fairly positive, yes.

[The words "awesome" and "so cool" had been flung around a lot, but Blake was a little more reserved than that. She grins a bit.]
