So when it first turns on it's cock-eyed and he draws his head back some, brows furrowed as he tries to get the thing working right. Once the view turns to where he's viewed upright there's a pause before a charming smile spreads over his face.]

I take it this curious thing is working and all of you can see me then? How do I look mates? [A slight curve of a brow and a hooded look to go with that debonair grin. Yes, yes Hook, we know you're devilishly handsome.]

[And away goes the necklace as he puts on a slightly more serious expression.]

[It's a mystery why he likes to fall in with the dark queens, maybe it's just a little more fun in some ways, though he's often betrayed... Honestly most of the time it's a means to an end in some form. Now though? Habit perhaps, playing with fire and all. The way he sees it, best be on her good side than get her angry or seem like he's on a side other than her own.]

This is a temporary situation. [Which doesn't mean she isn't learning what she can to have the upper hand here, nor that she has no powers. Mab is a patient woman when she chooses to be.]

Tell me, Captain, what are your strengths, beyond that of traveling the ocean?

Ah, I see. No use taking something when you don't plan to keep it.

[A sly roguish smile twists over his features at that.]

Don't be fooled by the hook m'lady I'm much more than a pirate. Aside from being devilishly handsome and utterly amazing in bed, I'm not too shabby with a sword.

[He can certainly hold his own. No magic to speak of, but the title captain should definitely give away that he's good enough of a leader. He's crafty for sure, using his charm to gather information or get what is necessary. He can lie and swindle with the best of them. He's an expert at pick-pocketing and misdirection too.]

[There are many people who are lovely to look at and enjoyable to bring into her bower. The swordplay is more interesting to her. And being captain does imply some leadership skills so she just assumes those.]

Mmm, perhaps I can convince you to play with my Knight sometime. He is decidedly rusty in his skills with the sword. [Rusty in that he doesn't know what the fuck he's doing. But she does need to train him and soon.]

[A light smirk plays over his features at the thought of fighting a Knight with rusty skills.]

I assure you your Majesty, I wouldn't play around. However, I'm a man of honor, no harm will come to your Knight. I'd be happy to teach him a few things.

[Even if he did get more enjoyment out of a fight with someone equal to him in skill.]

[She inclines her head a little, her own smile playing on her lips.]

I would ask that you do not hold back, if my Knight cannot defend himself he will learn more quickly in a true fight.

[And she does not feel the need to mention that he is skilled in areas that are not swordplay.]

[His brows raise slightly in an expression that says 'fair enough' and he gives a nod in acceptance.]

I certainly can't argue with that. Consider it done.

[Well, Harry isn't very pleased when people mention he is capable of terrible things but other than that, they might actually be similiar.

Mab prefers not to say someone's Name and she looks at him thoughtfully for a moment before deciding there's not much choice over a device like this.]
