[Video] Day 1
[Guess who's never used a phone or a recording device before? This pirate. So when it first turns on it's cock-eyed and he draws his head back some, brows furrowed as he tries to get the thing working right. Once the view turns to where he's viewed upright there's a pause before a charming smile spreads over his face.]
I take it this curious thing is working and all of you can see me then? How do I look mates? [A slight curve of a brow and a hooded look to go with that debonair grin. Yes, yes Hook, we know you're devilishly handsome.]
Not bad for being asleep in a coffin for who knows how long, ey?
Now, to whom do I owe the pleasure of such a sleeping curse? I can think of a few Evil Queens and a certain Crocodile with that sort of magic up their sleeve but then that raises the question of who do I thank for the kiss that awoke me?
[Raising his necklace into view on his hook. The prominent stones appear to be green.] Or for these gifts for that matter? A bit gaudy don't you think, love? I suppose it suits my eyes. But what pirate doesn't like treasure?
[And away goes the necklace as he puts on a slightly more serious expression.]
Where are my manners... my name is Killian Jones, but I'm better known by my colorful moniker, [Gesturing with his Hook in view.] Captain Hook. Perhaps you've heard of me?
Can someone point me in the direction of a tavern perhaps? I'm starved.

Afraid not pet.
Magic and guilds I understand at least, so I think I have an idea. You're a mage or a wizard or something?
[She didn't seem like the sorcerer or witch type....]
[ Action ]
So there're guilds and magic where you're from? It seems that so many places other people are from it doesn't even exist anymore - that's... incredibly unsettling to me. But you're right. I'm a Celestial Wizard, actually. My guild is full of people who specialize in different types of magic. Solid Script, or Dragon Slayer magic, or Requip magic to name a few.
[ Action ]
[He gets his drink and continues to listen, filing those names away in his memory.]
Dragon slayer magic? Requip? Now you've lost me.
[ Action ]
As for the Dragon Slayer and Requip magic, you're probably better off talking to the people themselves. Natsu and Erza are both specialists in it - but Dragon Slayers were created to defeat dragons. Erza's requip magic lets her summon weapons and armor when she's fighting.
[ Action ]
Sounds useful. I wouldn't mind seeing such magics in action, that is, so long as it's not against me. Wouldn't be much of a fair fight I'd wager.
[ Action ]
A guild of craftsman must be pretty - [ Don't say handy. Don't say handy. ] Useful. [ She finishes, a bit sheepishly. ]
Hehee, I don't think Erza or Natsu would mind demonstrating their magic at all. [ Both had pride in their abilities, so they might show off a little. She couldn't blame either of them for wanting them to do so. ]
If you haven't any magic, a fight against you would be pretty unfair - but you shouldn't have to worry about something like that. As long as you're not here to cause trouble or something, I mean.
[ Action ]
[It's alright Lucy, he won't get upset by the term 'handy' if you accidentally let it slip.]
Nope, I'm just your run-of-the-mill human, nothing really magical about me unless you count the fact I'm well over 300 years old. After all, one doesn't age in Neverland.
[Not really saying he's NOT going to stir up SOME trouble. He IS a pirate after all and seeing as he was stolen and dropped here well... he may end up liberating items he needs rather than use money earned. A small price to pay for keeping him here.]
[ Action ]
Over three hundred? That's incredible - is it magic that keeps people from aging, or something else...? [ Wait, he might not even know. Still, she couldn't imagine living for that long. Maybe if she had her friends with her - or just one specific friend but.. even then.
[ Darn it Killian. Well they're not likely to go after ya if you 'liberate' things here and there. Her idea of 'trouble' is something a little more serious than petty larceny. ]
[ Action ]
It took me 300 years to find a way out and back to me own world. [Which came at a price.]
[ Action ]
[ That's a very dangerous situation. Then again if a kid is practically a god there, it's not like they can be -forced- to do something. ]
How did you finally find a way back?
[ Action ]
[He looked into his mug of rum, thumb tracing the flaggon's surface.]
I had to make a deal with the boy who commanded the world. Only he could let me leave.
[He took a long swig.]
So then, as a wizard are you born with the ability or do you learn it from someone?
[Changing the subject... It was a great price he had to pay and he's not willing to speak of it.]
[ Action ]
[ She was observant enough to know to avoid a topic when someone felt it uncomfortable. After all, she hardly knew Killian well enough to press the matter. ]
We're born with the ability to use magic, but we still need to be trained - although many of us might be considered self taught, from experimentation and independent study.
[ Action ]
[ Action ]
No, only people who are born with the ability can use magic learned by a mentor or on their own.
