NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY EDITION
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Pumpkins Scream in the Dead of Night
Recently there have been reports of many screams echoing throughout the city. When in investigating the noise it was discovered that a group of pumpkins were simply singing. These special pumpkins can only be found during October and their beautiful voices can be heard during the month. Though as reports show people see it as an annoyance, however others enjoy the soothing music their voices bring. You decide what you think, just listening for their screams.
Exploding Toilets Shock Everyone
In an odd occurrence today, Everglade found that a new type of toilet has been discovered. This 'exploding' toilet made its appearance known in a well know inn, soaking the person that was last using it in hopefully just water. Some people are excited about the new discovery while others are just confused as to how or why it exploded in the first place, or what the purpose of it would be. Never the less they are around and may be here to stay. Some really hope not.
Gingerbread Attacks Mascot
Today Fayren had reports of a Gingerbread man gone rogue and attacking various store mascots. When asked what happened or why no one could tell us, most people just claimed the gingerbread man just snapped and went berserk. If one can find him be warned that he is armed and carrying a lollipop. That makes him dangerous.
Spooky Fashions
Today in Everglade opened the very first clothes store for ghosts. Sure ghosts don't need clothes but the owners of this store believe they do. When asking them they said 'Ghosts need clothes about as much as a dog or cat does and they are naked all the time.' Ghosts have flocked to the store in hundreds and now it is becoming the most popular place for ghouls.
Floral Fatality
There have been reports of a plant crisis in the neighborhoods of Attleton. Dozens of hothouses have been rendered moot as concerned citizens found their flowers and fruits wilting and dying by scores.
Flora isn't the only casualty; the fauna, though not dead, have also been affected. Many say their pets no longer have much spunk; their tales don't wag, they don't want to play. They don't even bark at cars anymore!
Additionally, people have found that their perishable goods are perishing far faster than advertised. Local grocers and retailers swear their stock is the same as it's ever been, and yet the expiration dates grow increasingly optimistic. Citizens are advised to stock up on canned and dried goods for the time being.

Even my book club is really envious. But they’ll never know my secret.

Phone Call Killer: A string of murders has been happening in Genessia City. The victims of each murder is known to have received a phone call just minutes before they have been murdered. Track down the killer (or let then track you down) and bring them in and you will get a level 4 payment.
Nova City
Mason Takes On Nova City: A man clad in metallic body armor and a metal sports mask has committed a string of murders throughout Nova City. His victims seemed to be picked at random but they are all murdered with an object that happens to be in the area. A motive is unknown at this time.
Everglade
Exsanguinated: Someone calling himself Nosferatu Vlad Dracul has been roaming the city murdering people by draining the blood from people's bodies. In a note left at one of the crime scenes, he says he is the lord of Vampires and all should trembled before him. The people of Everglade are offering a level 3 payment to anyone that can put a stop to him.
Fayren
Dreamstalkers: A dream walking magical specter has been roaming the dreams of people of Fayren for the last week. Any injury sustained by the specter will be inflicted on sleeping person's real body. This includes fatal injuries. As such, many people in Fayren have been afraid to go to sleep.
An elderly old Mage has said she dealt with this specter or something like it in the past, but she is too old to do battle with it now. She is willing to help three willing people to enter the dream space and deal with the specter and asks that anyone wanting to vanquish it come to her shop. The address will be given those that sign up.
Because of the danger posed by this being, the people of Fayren are offering a level 5 payment to those that defeat it.

Leather Man: A man was found murdered in his home after what neighbors describe as a man in leather mask wielding a chainsaw broke in. People are being advised to lock their doors and windows until this man is captured and the people of the city are offering a level 4 payment to anyone that can bring him in.
